Thanks for this. I was wanting to hole-punch Index cards that I could insert into my double-spiral bound planner and started by looking for square hole punches, but those can get pricey. Using your method, just need a standard single-hole punch that can accommodate the double-rings of the planner and then the removable tabs and cut the holes on the outside so I can insert/remove the card and maybe even transfer that punched tab to another index card until the grip wears out. That's a simple alternative to investing in a $15-$20+ hole punch. I could make a cutting template out of some thicker clear plastic and then punch several cards at once, maybe adding a washi tape on the edge of the index cards if they don't stay connected to the rings before I start a new card. I hope you are having a good day.🌻
You're so welcome! I'm so thankful it was helpful! I would suggest getting a 1/8 inch hole punch. The standard one may make the holes to close together.
@Actually, a standard hole punch worked, as it’s a double ring situation. The pairs of rings are roughly 1/8th of an inch together. I used a ‘thick’ blank business card to test and my standard hole punch covers the distance of the pair of rings. 👍 |-0 (text here) |
Thank you for this. Just bought a new planner for the New Year. It does have card stock dividers but doesn't have extra pages in the back that I use to keep all kinds of good information and trackers. I would like to add some extra pages in the back out of heavy weight paper like my current one has. I was wondering how I was going to do that. Now I know. Much appreciated.
Thanks for this video❤ which punch did you use to add your page and do you know what size is the hole size? I'm trying hard to find a punch like this solely for this purpose!!! Thanks in advance xx
@@atpeacearts1 I have been searching for weeks for someone to show how to do this with that size hole punch!! It’s exactly what I need! Do you happen to know what size you ordered off of Amazon? Was it 1/16? Dying to know!
THANKYOU SO MUCH!!
Oh, you’re so welcome! Happy it was helpful!!

You're welcome!
Thanks for these suggestions. What size was your hole punch?
Hi! I’m kinda new to UA-cam, so I I didn’t see this. It’s a smaller punch than the standard. I ordered mine on Amazon
