I am currently booking 7 months out from a planned trip in October. Even this early, not many of the good ones (price/top reviews) available. In order to get 5 nights at the Sunset Hotel I had to reshuffle my itinerary. Remvi Suites was another place I was looking at, but I could not get more than one or 2 days together (unless I wanted to pay for the most expensive rooms). Book early! Thanks for all your videos. They really helped my planning.

Hello. Just found out your video and it’s September now and planning for our trip in April 2024. Almost all the affordable hotel are sold out. Except for Abelonas Retreat. And we quickly booked it. Whew I didn’t go they sold out so fast. I will be looking at your Athens videos. Hopefully you have Mykonos videos too. Thank you so much. Very informative and concise and useful 👏🏼

We stayed in the hot tub suite at damigos caldera world and found the view stunning
Very informative. I have stayed in some amazing places in Fira with private hot tubs / but they were during covid and were 50-70% cheaper. Probably wouldn’t stay there going forward due to very high prices and crowds post restrictions. I love staying in Firostefani as great views, a little cheaper, quieter and easy and beautiful walking distances to Fira and Imerovigli. Stayed at the Sunset Hotel last May, highly recommended if on the lower end budget. Amazing views and wasn’t crowded at all. Not many people used the hot tub either. Staying at the newly renovated cave suite at Agnadema end of May. Can’t wait. Special special island. Great vid as always Seb. Happy New Year

When I visited Santorini, I stayed at Epic View Suites in Akrotiri village and it was Amazing !
We stayed at Nefeles Luxury Suites (Fira) at about €500 a night in the summer of 2023 and it gave us splendid caldera sunset views with private jacuzzi on the balcony. It is located pretty high on the cliff and we hardly walked more than 10 steps down from the road to reach the upper levels of the hotel. Definitely recommend.

@@amitpatel-xn7xm I haven't been yet, going early october, but the reviews online are very good. It's definitely one of the few cheaper caldera view hotel and it books up pretty fast.

These videos are amazing! Thank you so much! We are planning a trip to Santorini in the middle of September and are torn between Absolute Bliss or Agnadema Apartments. Any recommendations if one is better than the other? We aren't looking to rent a car and rely on public transport :) (which your bus video is awesome!)
Both are great, but personally i would go for Absolute Bliss.
What about Andronis Concept Wellness Resort, how is the view from there. And what is the weather end of April ?

You mention where the sunset views are in July and August in this video. Where would you recommend the sunset views in the beginning of March. I know this is not an ideal time to visit the island but we have a conference in Athens at this time and would still like to see Santorini.

In May the sun sets more like North West. Hope this answers your question.

I'm trying to decide if Volcano View Hotel in Fira or Hotel Esperas in Oia would have a better sunset view in May?
From your video, Esperas in Oia may not have views of the caldera/volcano, but depending on the angle of the sun, Volcano View Hotel might be best. I'm still not sure.
@@scooterbelle7825 They both have sunset view. Volcano View is more about the Caldera while Esperas is about all the cute little houses of Oia built one of top of the others.

I hope this message finds you well. My partner and I will be visiting Santorini for 5 days during mid-November this year. We're planning to stay at a budget hotel for the first 3 days and 2 nights, and then move to a better hotel with a caldera view for the remaining days. I was wondering if you could advise us on whether it's possible to leave our luggage at the budget hotel for a few hours after our check-out time, or at the better hotel before the check-in time. If both options are possible, which one would you recommend? We are considering hotels in Fira or one in Fira and one in Oia.

Yes I believe all hotels agree to store customers' luggage even outside of checkin hours, so do whatever suits your schedule best !
FYI, since you're coming mid November, when hotel prices have reached rock bottom, maybe you could stay ALL your nights in a Caldera View hotel !

Hi Nicole. Yes they re open. Sea water is still pretty cold, not many ppl are swimming. Concerning the hotel pools, some hotels heat the water, others dont. If the water is not heated, it will be even colder than the sea lol

Its a nice place, just next to White Pearl Cavalieri. I prefer the "authentic vibe" of White Pearl Cavalieri, but Andronis Concept has a similarly amazing view, so all good :-)

Okay thank you. I have watched many of your videos, I did not see any information on the Armeni Villas. Is there anything that you know of the property as to its pros and cons? I still have opportunity to change to different property if I decide to do so. I would appreciate you expertise on this.
@@camrickmayes5920 I've never visited their facilities so I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer this question. All I know is that they dont have sunset view nor can you see the blue domes, which is a shame.

How come you did not mention Cavo Tagoo and Grace hotel both in imerovigli?
They re great hotels, but extremely expensive. Thats why they didnt make the cut. But for those who have that kind of budget, yes they re awesome places !

Hey ! Which room did you book ? You will definitely have the Caldera View, but maybe you're facing South West instead of West / North-West, meaning the sun sets just outside of your viewing range.

@@obaratta Just went to check the pictures. Yes I confirm that this room is facing South / South-West, so the sun will set just outside what you can see.

What are you're talking about man? You mention 10 hotels there's literally at least 50 hotels with perfect sunset views in Fira alone
