- Arya Hotel will pop up next to the Intuit Dome on 102nd st. Completed in 2026, it will be 200ft high rivaling as one of the tallest buildings in Inglewood. Just down the road on Century Blvd will be the Fairfield Marriott. Details are still sketchy but a 300 room hotel will be located right next to SoFi Stadium on the Hollywood Park lot.

Thank you, John! Exciting to see this development taking off. Looking forward to it.
In addition to the NBA all star game and the olympics, the World Cup is coming to LA in 2026 with 8 games to be played at Sofi. The super bowl is back in 2027 as well. Inglewood is going to have huge events for many years to come.
LA Olympics 2028.
When is the Inglewood APM supposed to be operational?
Ha, have to ask the mayor, they still might be shy of the $2 billon plus in costs. Likely even more as construction costs continue to rise. Maybe by the Olympics, maybe.
Hi John. I usually stay at the Sonder Lum for the LA RAMS games. Really convenient hotel and a short walk to Sofi Stadium. Literally right next door to Intuit Dome. However, I noticed that on their app, that they were not allowing any bookings for dates starting in July. I contacted a rep from Sonder Lum and she Informed me that starting in July, that they will not be operating the Inglewood location anymore. She mentioned that a new operator could be taking over the property. Can you please look into this. Is it possible Steve Ballmer purchased the property? Keep up the good work with all the Hollywood Park/Intuit Dome updates.
Thanks for the info, I'll see what I can find out.
I believe this will be the Clippers 40th season in L.A when they move into the new arena.
Great video 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯 💯
I did not realize Sofi has a massive "Parking Lot" taking A LOT OF LAND... this is such a bad design and waste of space... and making walkability even harder. Only in America.. Sofi should have made a parking structure instead and have transit/train lines connected to these stadiums. Or maybe have a autonomous trains have stops for each stadiums. Traffic will be so horrible when events happening at the same time.
It's not wasted if people park there. This isn't Inglewoods first rodeo at sporting facilities.
You mean 8-10 Sundays a year? Maybe a few events sprinkled in. Relax buddy, it ain't that serious.
@@s.n.9485 There are two football teams that play there. There are many other concerts, events etc. It stays pretty busy.
@@s.n.9485It's a hell of a lot more events than that. Both sporting and non sporting events. Can you say Taylor Swift?
Monster Truck Jam World Finals May 18th
Luke Combs June 14th-15th
Copa America Soccer June 24th, 26th
Blink 182 July 6th
Rolling Stones July 10th, 13th
Kenny Chesney July 20th
Arsenal FC v Manchester United July 27th
Not much going on here till football season
Few of these Hotels will no be built, because of eminent domain. It takes a lot of money and lawsuits will be a problem. In order to build these large developments you have to demo existing buildings and homes and will get pushback because affordable housing is a problem.
Due to inflation nobody's coming to those hotels.
Sucks for the residents. Quality of life is horrible now. Oh, and they are closing down schools to create parking structures. 🤦♂️
Is morningside high school turning into a parking structure?
Gentrification has come to this city and the mission is to out price the current community and no longer allow that community to ever live there again, new business isn’t always a good thing.
@@bassblvd3065People b*tch and moan when there is development, and then b*tch and moan when there is no development and residents say their city is being ignored.
Would you rather be Compton or Inglewood?
They new exactly what they were doing. That is why they are closing kelso just so they can have that lot for parking. Aint nobody dumb. These schools have not had droppout rates they just using every excuse so it could more money in mayor butts pocket as well. The time and world we live in. God said for the love of money is the root of all evil. What are parents who live in inglewood suppose to do now??? Even when they live outside certain districts?
No it’s not. That area is full of light industrial area as well as a two corridors of commercial space. The neighborhood is a balance of apartments and SFR.
First one looks good, the rest are boring cookie cutter shite. Alas!
Give me her address so I can talk to her, this area is my farming area. I also live nearby. I shop in the area, eat in the area. So I do see the heavy traffic on game day. All that other stuff your talking about doesn’t happen. Police and parking enforcement off of the Blvd is blocked except for a few streets.
All to give respect to the City of Champions Los Angeles Lakers.
Nice to build all the hotels for all the opposing team fans taking over the stadium. 😂
You're delusional. Las Vegas is known for having opposing fans. 😂
It's more of a night life atmosphere when more bars/nightclubs open up... kind of like San Diego's gaslamp quarter
@@KingJ32 because it's Vegas, flights are cheap. It's all about the experience. It's only one game a year for them, so their willingness to pay the highest tickets prices in the NFL is greater where a Raiders fan has at least 8 games to choose from and pay those high prices. I got my two SOFI Raiders charger game tickets last year for free. Not going to happen at Allegiant. Raiders fans are priced out, Chargers fans don't have that excuse.
The NFL is whack! How do you let the Raiders, so beloved in LA, move to Vegas? And if the Rams would get rid of those ugly uniforms, and get back to the original LA colors, maybe they'd get more old Rams fans back.
