I've been waiting for this keyboard but close to buying the Azoth Extreme version, wireless (3 devices) is so nice too. Does this HE board feel better to type than Azoth Extreme? Also, what would be your #1 keyboard?
@@mikerzisu9508Nah its good. The full metal case with that holo effect lining is a work of art man. People pay way more for custom builds and it's honestly better than most of them😅
@@game-zer0387 highly disagree. You can build a much better custom board for that price, I have done it. And $500 for a gaming keyboard that isn’t even he? No way… complete ripoff. And this is coming from a rog fan too.
@@mikerzisu9508 you ever touched that thing? Attention to detail and the engineering is pretty off the charts. It has arguably the best keyboard oled display, wireless solution, and built quality. Thing is, you don't even need to be a geek to be able to build that thing 😜
it sounds so bad, because the microphone is fixed on the same support as the keyboard, it takes all the vibrations and reflections that you make when typing on your keyboard, unlucky this sound test need to be remake
Wooting 60HE still on 1Khz though, this is (8Khz) technically should be better than the Wooting, also 65% with arrow keys (vs 60%) is a nice to have. Honestly I preordered the 80HE but now I kinda want this instead.
This is completely identical to the switch on the DrunkDeer (Raesha switch). So it is very likely that the silent switch they recently released can be used.
the keyboard sounds nice for a tray mount!
Also i wonder if it's TRUE 8k (8k polling, 8k scan, 0.125 actual response time for keystrokes)
Finally in black color, with rapid trigger and also the sound is nice....
i hope that has mode tap like wooting
If they revamp their software this is a solid option
noicee, now waiting for Harpe Ace mini to come out
I believe the mouse is already out in some regions, saw a guy on Reddit got one already.
Sound like space stabs are bad? Maybe give it some lube for better sound?
Nice video 👍🏻
Nice review
it actually sounds nice
Call me childish, but I'm a sucker for ASUS' 65% keyboard designs. They are very much a statement, lol.
80he going to shit on this. The 60he already does
I reviewed this keyboard too! It's great for typing and gaming, but the software is horrible and I found the touchbar too be finicky.

Dude the extreme is $500. Don’t buy that, that is a complete ripoff

Is there no option for setting release key distance? That's the entire point of using HE magnetic switches.. asus wtf?
When can u buy it in malaysia?
Price?

Armory crate is a deal breaker no matter what.
I'm still waiting for a low profile HE keyboard now that gateron made a low profile jade HE switch.
Nuphy has one on pre order
man that spacebar sounds horrible
and sounds better than the GMMK 3 at 400$ 🤣
looks promising. I hope asus can replicate their success from keyboardsd into mice it would bring more competiton to mice i think
Hell nah, for that price nothing beats Wooting.
Well the iqunix ez60 does. It’s objectively faster and has superior sound and build quality but wooting has a superior software.

wooting is ass
@@paul2609 at least you don't need armory crate software with 80he
whats the price btw
is he hotswap
At 10:25 , I don’t think you can hotswap it with other HE switches. The pins on the bottom housing are different.
@@Izennn thanks

Didn't they release one just last month at $500? it's not their first HE Keyboard.
Thats not HE, just mechanical with carbon fiber case
That's the azoth extreme. A quick Google would have told you it's a mechanical keyboard.
@@Wanted54321Only CF plate. Case is alu.
Don't buy it though. Not worth it.
Wait mechanical only and it's $500?
You can tell why I am no longer interested in Asus products.
@@thatsl1ve183 yea, i really dont think anyone is gonna buy that except die hard rog fans, plus armoury crate is trash.
