That 1798 Draped Bust Dollar is amazing, even plugged and whizzed. Very, very cool. Amazing! So cool to see it, and to have it, and there's something great about buying it raw and getting it graded, even if it didn't get a straight grade. The fact that it's protected, authenticated, and graded is a very good thing, and it's reassuring. It's also great that the coin looks good overall and you can see so much of the design, and it's more affordable than it would have been had it gotten a straight grade.

Always interesting to see a collector talk about his collection, his knowledge and passion for the pieces really comes through. Also, CG's comment about buying uncirculated 90% silver is pretty sage advice, better to pay a premium today to insure a greater return later for your grandchildren.
It’s always interesting to me when you show an old time dealer a collection how they can show very little reaction while inspecting it.
