Not sure what you paid on the CBH but it's a cleaned VF, a far cry from MS or even AU. I wouldn't expect a collector to pay more than $75 for an example in that condition.
@@WestTNExchangehey are you interested in a collection I got some things I need get rid of very easy sellers all mint state items some raw some slabbed
I’m afraid you need to “curb your enthusiasm” as the tv show admonished. Yes those Morgans are shiny but they are mostly badly marked. If you spend grading and shipping fees and wind up with MS-62 common date Morgans, there won’t be much profit to gain. I’d sell them raw. Go to a high-end coin store, or attend a large national show and examine a MS-67 or 68 CAC stickered Morgan, then you’ll see what an “amazing” Morgan truly looks like.
I only recently learned of the Redfield hoard and i absolutely love it. Id LOVE to have a piece of American history like this but on my limited income im not sure itll be a reality dor some years down the road once ive reached more of my stacking goals. At least up to my 1k oz silver base goal
The morgans mostly appear to be uncirculated. I do hope you bought these right so you can make some money. I would hesitate to send anything to PCGS because of the high cost and the likelihood they don’t like these coins as much as you do. I think you’d better off auctioning it off and sell them all raw.
Hate to tell you a lot the grades you are thinking are off and not what you think and you get you a PL and DMPL coin to have to show what they look like because the coins your thinking are PL are not and the bust half is not ms and has been cleaned so I hope you didn’t over pay there is a reason those coins were never graded
So glad you clarified that the coins looked better in person than on the screen, because on the screen they looked like crap. I would of never sent most of those to get graded, to me it would of been a waste of money
The 1826 bust half was cleaned! And the trade dollar has a clashed obverse!

Are you going to have them graded?
No. I decided to sell them raw.
Appreciate you Lyle. Honesty oozes from your videos. The ‘Roo’ customer. 😎
I appreciate that!
You were not kidding great stuff
Truly one of the best collections I’ve gotten in.

THOSE GOLD COINS, YOU SHOULD TAKE THEM OUT AND PUT THEM IN AIR TIGHT CAPULES SO THE BROKEN HOLDERS DON'T SCRATCH THE COIN.
Do you sell on Ebay?
