im just really nervous about the engine... how long will it last? last time i bought a truck was 13ish years ago. and that was a used 99 sonoma v6. its lasted and gotten me most everywhere.
Great video!, I have a question on your gage cluster, how do you get it to stay on that one? every time I restart my truck it resets to a different one. THX
Brother I remember you mentioning under the hood the pieces that dont clip into the other plastic part up at the top of the hood , I have the same exact issue so I went to the dealer because its as if those parts are short by 1/2 inch on both sides , the dealer said its not an issue they don't know anything about it , I just find it hard to beleive. did you get anywhere was there a fix for it on your end or did you give upas im about to do?
What i dont like about this one is it wont plug in the obd2 so if you put in reverse you will have that sensitivty and not me but alot of people when they put in reverse they are not use to be so quick so they ram every where in reverse by accident
only pedal controller out that reverts to stock in reverse is @bankspower pedal monster since you need an ODB2 connection to get more info into the controller. All these others do is amplify the voltage to the ecu and siphor power off the ecu which is bad. They should be putting 12v from ODB2 or hardwire.
Exactly as I mentioned in the video, no HP gain just response. Nowadays with electronic pedals you definitely feel the lag and this helps you get a more accurate pedal feel.
Waste of money and gas. Confirmed via ob2 diagnostics. All this device does is change pedal sensitivity. It also voids gm warranty because you are adding to the electrical circuit. I can't confirm on how aware the new gm's global b system is, it might know even after device removal because it had throttle values outside the norm.
Not true per se. Basically all it does is increase voltage to the throttle, mimicking increased throttle pedal pressure. The only thing the GM Diag can show is a percentage level. This would only show you pressed harder on the pedal. The electrical input is all they can measure and it will not be abnormal compared to what they cannot measure, which is mechanical input (foot pressure)
id like to know wat Econ does for a Tank
can you add a link to it in the video description? Because I'm not sure which one to get on the website.
Added on the bottom

Thank you! Im not sure, I didn’t do anything special. It just stays! Have you tried a reset on the system? I know there’s been a few issues.
Make sure you pic your screen and push enter button. If that dont do it you have to take it in.@@drivesafefoo
Have you done any 0-60 comparisons with the unit engaged vs stock?
Not a legitimate test, just butt dyno lol
Any recs on what to use?
Just a stop watch and your foot
Do you have the high output tune on your truck from the factory or do you just have the mid level tuned engine?
No high output, factory tune
Any update on how the WindBooster how has your truck reacted to it and any negatives ?
All positives so far! Not 1 single issue caused by it. Just cant drive stock anymore. It feels sluggish now 😂
@@drivesafefoo hell yeah I just installed mine today lol !
Where did you get your tray orangizer from.
From Aliners , on instagram. They also go by Musology Auto. They have a few accessories for the 3rd gen.
Amazon has the trays plus one for behind the center screen
Do you have exhaust and/or intake? Your truck sounds different.
Nothing else, just this. Different in what sense?
Your engine sounded louder.
where did you get the smoke covers
Aliexpress! lol look up 2023 Colorado accessories

Oh man! Nothing yet! It sucks because it clips one side, but not the other. It’s so weird. Idk if water can in the engine bay more like that
@@drivesafefoo i went to GMC they said they have no recalls or bulletins on it which is hard to believe , talk to me like im crazy
What mode do you keep it in now?
I daily it at race mode level 5. I kind of forgot about it after a while because it feels pretty solid at this mode TBH.
@@drivesafefoo what about reverse? Seems like a talking point for some other brands.
Any difference with a higher octane fuel?
I’m not sure if the octane will make a difference with this, the controller just makes the throttle more responsive.

Make sure you don't put a supercharger or turbo on an NA engine then, since it also activates in reverse, lol
Can you download the app to the trucks Infotainment system?
Not that I’ve seen, it does t give me an option to add to carplay. Maybe jailbreaking the android infotainment?
Does it get rid of the speed limiter of 98mph?
I haven’t got that fast😂
@@drivesafefoo oh, if you ever do. LMK.
@@drivesafefooley me know also I want to know
Is the check engine light on?
Its not. It comes on when accy mode is on. Once you start up it’s off.
And what is the behavior in Reverse, isn't it dangerous?
Throttle response is same forward and backwards. Doesn’t feel dangerous, you learn throttle positioning and will gauge it.

How much was this? I’m in so cal also
its $199 on the website he linked in the description.
Dude sick! Follow the IG page for link ups! 🤙🏼
Fragile?
He meant sensitive. *
You are not gaining anymore HP just changing how the throttle response, what a waste of money

Oh sweet! Thanks for that info! I havent had issues yet 🤙🏻
