The reverse hyper is very good for spine decompression and I would recommend doing it if you have problems with your lower back and/or you want to work more on your deadlift.
I have old herniations and every time I do them I get wonderful decompression and my back pops and it feels great. My doc also said that my X-rays and CT look better.
Love the back extension. If I do heavy squats or deads I always finish with back extensions and hangs for time and it really helps my lower back feel good.
My strongman gym recently got a reverse hyper but I'm a bit nervous about using it. The movement seems kind of wild and has me worried I'm going to break something with my scoliosis-affected back. I might start off going a bit slower than you Joey.
I really want to try the Ukranian Deadlift. That looks like it would feel great. My gym doesn’t have any type of loading pins though. Might have to just buy a cheap load pin and try it out. I also wish my gym had the reverse hyper machine.

just start super light. you could even do it with just the weight of you legs, whivh you can bend to varying degrees to make it easier.
Thanks Joey!
I’ll have to try some of these

You can do with dumbbell as well
My gym doesnt have a pin or heavy enough DBs. for ukrainians, a large deficit from plates/ box then using a barbell can be a good alternative
It kicks the Russian deadlift's ass!

What do you think about silver dollar lift for your back?
I want to include the Ukrainian DL in my program, but I dunno were...
I was thinking towards the end, after the bent over row
using it as a secondary DL is not a bad idea
My coach had me doing the Ukranian dead’s in a belt squat machine
3:50... You look like an anabolic Freddy Mercury haha
🥇
No swing whatsoever on the REVHYP lol
For Ukrainians deadlifts kettlebells are the best 👽 🇺🇦🇵🇱💙💛❤️
