Very youthful look. You made this look, look great but I still think Chanel foundation, L'Oreal creamy powder foundation and IT cosmetics foundation, Glossier blush, MaquiComplet concealer, IT bye bye pores setting powder and Wayne Goss Berry lip pencil look amazing on you. It's really not fair to test make up on an already gorgeous woman lol. I love the eye colors and I personally use Unlimited and I LOOOOOOOVE it!!! I switched from They're Real! and I really liked the They're Real! mascara. But the Unlimited is a bit better, I get more uses and at a MUCH better price.

As a professional, working (over 60) makeup artist who specializes in helping women over 50 look their best, I was thrilled when I learned that L"Oreal was coming out with the Age Perfect makeup line since it's specifically for women over 50. I had the same reaction as you, Angie, to the foundation. Although it looked good initially, it didn't stand up well over time and the SPF was primarily chemical. But I did really like the lipsticks. Both of the formulas go on beautifully and feel wonderful on the lips. Though there are some beautiful colors in the lipstick line, there aren't, unfortunately, many good choices for women who have a warm skin undertone. Like you, I also have issues with lipstick feathering, so I applied two layers of the lip liner and was frankly amazed to see that I didn't end up with any lipstick feathering issues. But I'd gladly pay a little more money to have an automatic lip liner rather than one (like these) that have to be sharpened!

Angie, have you tried the Estée Lauder Double Wear Instant Fix concealer? ULTA has it. It’s the only concealer that doesn’t crease on my mature under eyes and it lasts all day. It has a serum on one side and the concealer on the other. Can you try it and let me know what you think?
If you have dry skin you will love this foundation. I bought it thinking it would be to glowing but it made my skin look so fresh and youthful. I even got great comments when I did a zoom. Perfect for dry skin.
I agree! I have dry skin and this has been my go to foundation for the past year. Covers well, doesn't make me look cakey, and lasts all day if I set it correctly. Now that I'm older, I want a foundation that is more luminous or dewy that gives a youthful appearance.
The warmer toned eyeshadows are really pretty. One of my favourites was Estee Lauder's Copper Penny, but as I got "older," I noticed that the whites of my eyes weren't as white as they once were, and the Copper Penny was just emphasizing the redness and making me look tired. Even though I loved how the warm shadow brought out my blue eyes, I had to stop wearing it because it just wasn't flattering anymore. Now I lean towards cooler browns with no red, warm undertones.

I know you tend to like cool tones but honestly, I definitely noticed your eyes and thought wow during the Nordstrom try on video you filmed while wearing this makeup look. And another thing I noticed during the Nordstrom try on video was your lip color. Holy cow! What a great color on you. During the current video, you seemed to feel this may be a little bold for you or darker than you expected. However, for Fall, I think it looks killer on you. Just for fun, maybe give the one color in the eye palette that you said was too warm a whirl. You might like it.

I bought several lip and eye pencils from ulta and some of them were just like that! Even my daughter and law couldn't figure it out! Not a fan of putting wooden sticks with potential splinters in my eyes!! They need to do away with wooden lip and eye pencils!!🤦

Btw, Angie the eyeshadow looked great. Your eyes are even pretty with no make up, but I think the way that you know how to put the lighter and darker in the right spots w/the right pressure makes it so that you can branch out and use those warm colors from the Wayne Goss.
I had the same initial reaction to my Wayne Goss eye palette...too warm. Once applied though, my mind changed as the colors read neutral. The black shade is light (perfect) and grays out colors applied on top which really diversifies the range of looks possible. The shadows look lovely on you and looked great at the 8 hour mark.
I like your style. I need to get out the door in the morning #1., #2., I like to keep it simple, my eyebrows, my eye lashes, more focus on skincare, etc. Thank you for being someone who doesn't overdo it.
Agree with previous comments! Warm tones look lovely on you Angie ... they actually make your blue eyes pop. I have a similar complexion and eye colour, and find warm tones that aren't too orangey look amazing. I'd say that pallette is a keeper.

Those eyecolors are complimentary for you, just look at a color wheel and look for what is opposite. Also, that is such a generous size palette by Wayne Goss! It would take a long time before you 'hit pan'.
I agree with a Wayne. I’m older. I used to love the cool shadows with my light green eyes. Then noticed that my skin looked more sallow. Now I use a strategic mix of warm and cool.

You look gorgeous in these colors, Angie, even if they are outside of your usual comfort zone. Love the warmer eye colors- your baby blues are glowing, the darker powder contour is subtle but effective, and the lip colors are so pretty.
Angie, I use a pencil made by Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone. It stop lipstick/ liner from feathering. I apply it at the same time I apply my eyeshadow primer. I dust it lightly with powder to set it. Then apply your liner and lipstick color. It does keep it from moving. The pencil is clear.
Angie...I hate to be a complainer, but I am having an issue with Timeless and I think you should be aware. I began using the 20% vitamin C and ferulic acid product in January. In May, I purchased my third bottle. I always plan ahead so my previous bottle wasn’t finished yet and i didn’t begin using it right away. Recently, the pump quit working and when I shake the yellow bottle I can hear a significant amount of product still in the bottle. I messaged Timeless and after a few messages back and forth including a video showing the problem, they decided that it was simply empty and are not willing to do anything about it. I just thought you should know since you recommend them.
Hi, Angie--Though I use many Age Perfect products, the L'Oreal liner I swear by (not AT) is Color Riche "Beyond Pink." It goes on smoothly and reads as a neutral tone. I'm 73 and have had awful upper lip creases for years. No feathering!--Susan Reid

I love this foundation because it’s more like a serum. I just tap on a small amount and blend it everywhere, eyelids and under eyes too. My fingers work best for blending and I shake the tube first. True Match powder to set.
When my kids were young and money was tighter I used L’Oréal products daily. I mixed a bit or moisturizer with the L’Oréal foundation and it actually looked quite good! I received many compliments. However, ever since you recommended Estée Lauder’s Futurist Hydra Rescue, I cant go back!! Thank you !

Loved this foundation Friday! No, no...on the oil slick foundation! Your eyes sure popped using the warmer tones but I prefer the cooler eyeshadows on you.

Glad to see you try the palette - you wear similar neutral/cool colors like me. My under eyes are SO dry - that concealer looks PERFECT. Foundation looks great before powdering even.
I love my Wayne goss palette. But I have blue eyes and I really appreciate a warm toned shadow in a palette to mix in. But that is just me.

I love this foundation because it’s more like a serum. I just tap on a small amount and blend it everywhere, eyelids and under eyes too. My fingers work best for blending and I shake the tube first. True Match powder to set.

When my kids were young and money was tighter I used L’Oréal products daily. I mixed a bit or moisturizer with the L’Oréal foundation and it actually looked quite good! I received many compliments. However, ever since you recommended Estée Lauder’s Futurist Hydra Rescue, I cant go back!! Thank you !
