What made the win so much sweeter for Fowler was the fact that a week before the tournament, Sports Illustrated came out with an article calling Fowler the most overrated player in the sports for his lack of wins. Sure shut them up
Well..except he had a video titled Crazy Golf Shots and includes a random normal, not at all crazy Tiger Woods shot. And just one of hundreds of great flop shots from Phil Mickelson. Great...but not crazy.
I’m a golfer, and a shitty one at that, but I haven’t played regularly in over a year. Watching these videos makes me think “WOW I can hit GREAT shots because I just have to do (this one simple thing like slow my swing down)!” Then reality hits in the form of me shanking everything.
@@dylant4737 you'll get there easily if you practice and look up some videos on UA-cam about your certain problems and just give swing changes time to set in with practice. I was a 36handicap when I was 13, quit for 10 years and after a few months of playing I'm about 13handicap
@@dylant4737 im boutta head on a big grind. Played casually for years and now finally hunkering down and putting some hours in on the range regularly. Pretty excited watching this stuff
You're awesome man, you even provide a bit of context on the shots. For someone like me who didn't experience those things live and got interested in golf just like a year ago or something (hoping to play my first real round in the near future, golf video games got me hooked), these are great vids. Cheers man, keep it up
E Mo a few years ago I won a closest to the pin contest. Hit it to 1 foot 10 inches on a ~150 yard hole. Won some very expensive, very nice golf shoes. 3 putted the tap in 😂
@@GusLascola 3 putt? Yes but you still got some spiffy shoes out of it!! haha Maybe that's what makes the difference between elite level sportspeople and us mere mortals. Consistency in hitting the mark yes, but also the temperament to handle the pressure when it matters. just like my standard up and down short game from just off the green with a nice pitch needed when 3 ahead on the last. proceeded to top the ball across the green into the bunker on the other side and lose the round by 1 shot
LOL - I put my tee shot into the shit on a par-three, then made a miraculous shot out of the shit onto the green, then four-putted. The highs and lows of golf!
Great compilations. One occurrence worth noting is when Lanny Watkins and Tom Pultzer were in the same group and both dunked it in the hole only to have the ball bounce back out (#2 on the top 10 unforgiving flagsticks video). Talk about crazy.
Golfed competitively from 8-18 and then just stopped it all completely... I wasn't in the best headspace and couldn't just simply enjoy the game anymore. Only doing something to win can get pretty poisonous to the brain. Right now I've been 'off' for 8 years. These videos helped me remember why I loved the game in the first place, all those fun crazy moments. Thank you.
A guy I use to work with topped the ball, then it ran on the fairway towards the side of a slope and did a semi-circle before dropping on the green towards the hole for a hole-in-1. He stopped playing since and never used his newly bought clubs again.
i hate my first 9 0r 18 holes...but during it,there always seem to be that one specky shot that keeps me going back.....i hate addictions and golf:))))
Tom Kites was easily the best , huge skill and imagination under intense pressure , that woman he felled at 100 yards was his mother in law 🏌🏻♂️👌🏻😂😂😂😂
I love that the teaser shot was the very first video. Incredibly classy move on your part. 🙌
and the squiggly line wasn't exaggerated like in most vids you see
Agreed. This video got my like just for that.
I watched the whole thing out of respect.
Stay classy Gus!
Mvp move
The Fowler comeback was one of the greatest moments in sports history. I watched it live and it had made on the edge of my seat.
What made the win so much sweeter for Fowler was the fact that a week before the tournament, Sports Illustrated came out with an article calling Fowler the most overrated player in the sports for his lack of wins. Sure shut them up
@@Spicyyyy21 Sort of but Fowler is pretty average for a pro. Doesn't even have his Tour Card anymore. Not sure his status now with LIV.
This is the most well-edited and viewer friendly golf video I've ever watched. And starting with the thumbnail: A+++

If people ever stood that close to watch me play there’d at least one causality per hole
CAUSALITY
At least one death per hole
Pretty safe with me, ball wouldn't get that far
I once hit a guy standing behind me. Never have gotten my stance and backstroke right. Peace. Out.

Yes, because I shank every stroke and keep dreaming that one day it will bounce off a rock and it will be the greatest shot of all time.

Into the lava, once, twice, cart path, off the guy, and onto the green :) Fantastic!!
I have had a few crazy good shots to within 4 ft then of course 3 putt for a bogey.

I gotta give a sub for that. There’s nothing like hitting a great shot in golf. Keeps you coming back for years!!!
Many times almost gave up golf before hitting a 'pro' shot that kept me playing this torturous sport.
For god’s sake... Ricky at the Players was nothing short of marvelous. I remember watching that live, couldn’t believe my eyes
4:14 "Unbelievable, what a shot"
5:56 "Oh my god"
Thx for this dude missed ur compilations, small golfer this side, handicap 2 overs
1:18
Crowd: "Do a slam dunk!"

That tiger shot at 1:52 was so puuuurrreeeee
5:09 that sound is like beauty also that shot makes me think holes are a bit to small or the flagstick too thick lol
if you like the sound of that one, watch his low punch draw in another video. that sound is mmmgood
"I knew it was good, but I didn't think it was that good." Great quote
Terrific channel. You do a great service to the game of golf, and to all 14-handicappers still hacking away at it.
Thank you for this. I needed this compilation
1:18旗つつみ Flag wrap
2:38岩返し Rock back
5:09モズ落とし shrike Drop
Great selection of the good, the bad, and the ugly.

When you randomly get recommended part 6

Lol, the “get in the hole” after every shot guy.
1:18 is the coolest ace I’ve ever seen
Golf is the most calming hype sport there is
“Cmon baby lets go WOOOOH”That’s every single American ever
Great Compilation! #golfisgreat
My boy, Ricky! Let's go!
0:54 Oh! That looked like a Gerald Ford shot!
All these great shots, and then one where a guy just drills a fan hahaha
0:06 oooh christopher columbus
I totally missed that the first time.
1:07 LOL Kite smoked that person, but my favorite is still the pro women's golfer who hit that old lady TWICE
Ahah, the scientific approach on the bunker shot
Hoping to see more of this!
'Off the guy and onto the green'. Lol
1:20 , insane.

Fowler was on fire and he knew it.
I remember driving a short par 4 ending up about 4 feet for eagle. I then proceeded to 3 putt for par. Good times.
I lipped out of a hole in one at Seaford Head. Two putted. Bad time!
I can’t even Imagine being that good at Golf. I wonder what it feels like.
Good work, really enjoyed that
great video man. very well done
Fowler was on fire!!
that was flipping awesome to see
0:55 dont you just hate it when your body and matter skips the backswing and just teleports into the finish
chubeviewer no wonder he sent it into the crowd
Yeah its really hard for me to control my shots like that

1:27 when you hit the flag in wii sports
All I’ve learned through these vids is that British Announcers are easily impressed.
Rorys shot at 3:25 is crazy
1:52 didn't think it was possible to have so much back spin with a wood (slash hybrid)
Fowler comeback was the best ever .... period.
4:03 I think he want's his pants back.
Tom Is a great golfer. I feel bad for him in that scene.
Fowler's charge was awesome
1:25 wow.
5:09 this shot sounds like the most stereotypical golf shot ever, like on wii sports or something. Crazy how pure tiger could hit the ball
Sounds light a light-saber
golf players seem to be bad at giving high fives.
that ricky fowler clip was wild
Into the lava, once, twice, cart path, off the guy, and on to the green.
I love the videoso
ohhh, that looked like a Gerald Ford shot
the club hitting the ball sounded like tigers leg snapping
5:49 into the lava once, twice, off the cart path, off the guy, and on the green. You will never hear that again
Golf is so much more interesting in these videos.
@0:55 It's hard as hell to hit a good shot when there's a helicopter on the tee box!
You know what they say, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again.
Member that time tiger nailed that hole-in-one on 16 at the Phoenix open? That was crazy.
