Yes, l remember watching your video on his birth & helping him on his feet, to nurse & Chablis positioned herself to try help him feed. It’s been special watching his progress & how quickly he gained strength, filled out & is enjoying time out in pasture with mama & the rest of the herd ❤❤❤

I followed along every second of your videos when he decided it was time to be born! Then to only be 62 pounds, WOW! You're absolutely correct in your assessment of the help he needed making his entrance into this life! Then being able to stand & locate the milk supply, he definitely did not have the strength at that time to get there without some help, so THANKFUL you guys were there for him!!💜 HE IS DOING GREAT ON HIS OWN, WITH HIS MAMA'S HELP NOW! What a great mom. She stands still and allows her to feed. I have been helping to look after a foal and her mom would move every time he tries to feed. So, we have to hand feed it now. Poor guy is so skinny. I love seeing well norished fillies.
I just saw the earlier video of when he trudged to be up on his little hooves and suckle, late last night, by accident! O my heart ❤️ he is the sweetest little foal!
