    I haven't run the numbers, but anecdotally speaking, I only shop every other month at Azure as I have an hour to my drop and they always arrive while I'm at work so it's not easy. But I LOVE their organic products and although their prices have increased, I still see the savings by buying in bulk. Most of my orders are ~$150 but my next pick up is closer to $400. But I'm stocking up on olive and avacodo oil (gallon sized) and a case of the butter you mentioned. I keep hearing about how good it is so I've finally given in! I would love to be a drop coordinator!!

      @Aprons.Overalls  Рік тому +2

      It was hard to try that butter when we were used to the cheap sticks from the store... but the taste and quality are no comparison! You should look into starting your own drop. Ask around at your current drop to see if anybody else attends from your area. We wish Azure had a brick and mortar store... we'd be in there every day and be in financial ruin! :) Thank you for the comment, Jennifer. :)

    Love this video!! Azure is definitely worth it to our family as well!! I am a numbers guy too and love breaking things down like this!! With that said, I now understand why they were out of Raw Cheese so much last year 🤣🤣😂😂

      So happy to hear that you guys are enjoying your Azure experience! We are hesitant to recommend Azure to some people because it's so different from most other options and not everyone understands the cost of Organic & Non-GMO foods. We are planning some more numbers-based videos in the future.
      We'll be getting a dairy cow sooner than later if Alex keeps ordering cheese at the rate she's going!

    We are moving this year, I can't wait for a new drop!!!!!!!!!! So excited. Sorry you have had bad luck with grocery pickup, once things settled after 2020 ours has been fantastic but I think retailers seriously updated their software due to demand. Where we are now is at the very end of Azure's shipping line so it's totally been a struggle. I find the shipping charges extreme, I get it but add in an hour each way for pick up and it's expensive but....when ordering bulk, especially grains it's well worth it. It's interesting, so many items are far less expensive for me locally but others they can't be beat. I keep whole foods, costco, and my local grocery tabs open while ordering so I know I'm getting the best price. When we move whole foods and costco won't be an option. Thank you for all your work!

      @Aprons.Overalls  Рік тому +1

      Congratulations with your new purchase! That's so exciting and thrilled that you'll be closer to an Azure Standard drop. Azure surely isn't always the cheapest. Some products are much more expensive. This most often seems to be for smaller items (non-bulk). We used to love buying Costco's frozen fruit. We have some ethical issues with them and stopped shopping there for now and question how organic that fruit really is considering how cheap it is. Thank you so much for watching our videos and leaving us comments. We always enjoy reading them and you encourage us to keep creating content. 😁😇

    my average monthly Azure expense for 11 drops was 178 and some change. The yearly total of 1960 was quite shocking but we did a lot of stocking up and holiday cooking.

      Thank you for sharing your numbers, Nana! When we first became customers with Azure our orders were quite small as grocery stores were still our primary source for food. It also took some time to get used to the price of buying high-quality foods. We haven't eliminated the grocery stores completely, but Azure is now the primary place we get food from.

    I just don’t like having to get my orders with others at the drop off locations and trying to find others to join in. I stopped using it for me personally it just didn’t save us much money, happy you like it though

      Thank you for sharing, Christy. Azure is a unique experience and it doesn't fit every lifestyle and budget. It sounds like you were going to a small drop and needed more people to keep the drop going? Curious to know what you meant by "trying to find others to join in".

    I was, not sure if I will continue. Why? Because they have a very flawed system for inventory. Once again, my order has been shipped missing items. One particular item I am now going on 3 months to get filled, with no assurance that I will actually get it next time. The items say in stock when I put them in my cart, and when I check out there is no notice that the item is not available, yet by the time I get notice of my order, the item (S) are not available. In addition, I find that their prices are not much lower, or any lower than in the stores most of the time. I do like that bulk sizes that are available, if you can get them.

    I've been an Azure Standard customer for about five years. The one big annoying thing that Azure does is inform us pretty late that they are delivering the next day. It's really inconvenient. I understand that problems with the schedules and don't really mind having a mostly clear day for an Azure delivery but now if I want to order from Azure Standard I have to make sure that I don't have appointments for the next day. Btw the Azure drop people that I've used are exceptionally nice.

      I just placed my order and have to pick up on Tuesday....at 11pm?! Have you had that experience before? We are in the mountains and work during the week, thought late night was a bit strange.😕

    • @lifesabeach9451
      @lifesabeach9451 3 місяці тому

      @@lesliem.534 I've never had to pick up an order that late. I admire the drivers for making it when the weather is challenging but Azure is asking a lot of us when they surprise with inconvenient times and it's too late to back out.
      I wrote to them and said if they switch days on us we should get a discount. Then I would get prepared for if that happened and maybe they'd try harder not to give us bad times.

    Could you explain why it’s not shipped to your home?

    • @Aprons.Overalls
      @Aprons.Overalls  6 місяців тому +1

      Shipping to your home is available, but at a significantly higher price. Azure's primary service model is shipping to various drop locations to keep costs low. A lot of Azure products are in bulk sizes which aren't as conducive to home shipping.

      And they have frozen and fresh products also that can’t ship well… basically anything you could find in a traditional store you can get through them

    Going east, i think their no shipping shelf was about Missoula MT. There doesn't seem to be any tiers, just s ledge. Shipping is kind of alot, according to me. Its 8.75.%, i think. It isn't perfect, but it's the best thing i can't find. I have taken time off work when placing a very large order (and they had a TON at time of order)and gotten zero of that priduct, too late to take back the time off, didn't know was getting any until it was too late to get a seasonal item elsewhere in my part of the world.

    Hopefully, your link worked. When I clicked, it went to my cart that I've been adding to and I saved $126 with new15. The order is due Jan 30th. Let me know if you don't get credited, maybe I can call them. Thank you so much for the promo code. 🏆

      You are so welcome, Loren! That's such a wonderful savings amount to be blessed with! I don't believe that I see your name on our referrals page so it may not have worked. I think we only get a referral credit if somebody clicks our link to create a brand new account. You could reach out to Azure but I don't know if they would be able to do anything. It's no big deal. We are just happy to hear that you have signed up and are saving some money!
