When I lived in Evergreen, we had about 7 acres of land behind our house, no fences. We were on an elk herd's migration path and twice a year, about 75 of them would end up in our back yard to spend the night, I guess to rest up after a long day of travel. Our two dogs, who barked their heads off at any animal they saw, were silent when the elk arrived and even intermingled with them if we let them out of their pens.
That would be awesome to have Elk right there in your yard! Closest I've ever been was on a highway stopped by Elk crossing the road and I was behind the first car! That was awesome!✌️💞
