As someone whose owned these albums i can say the artists are not arbiters of moral decency and scientific knowledge.
It took me very little effort of unbiased study to conclude that the evidences for human caused climate change are non existent, non scientific, and contradictory to scientific methods.
It literally took one politician pushing one scientists opinion that was later reneged to propagate the myth that the science has concluded man is the enemy to climate.
I want to see graphs, scientific notations, hypothesis that match or exceed conclusions, tested and confirmed studies over long terms.
Art that conforms to political rhetoric and opinion is called propaganda, will reach few and will vanish with time. Art that is unintentional and tells truisms without intent to do so is pure art and will reach all through eternity.

Funnily enough, metal puts passion into music that's about happy or hopeful subjects, more so than genres that are always happy-go-lucky. Ironic how such a music genre that's akin to a punch in the mouth or a body slam can be so passionate and deliver a happy message. Metal Forever.

Pop music is simplistic, manufactured, uninspired, and feel good. Metal is complex, technical, fast, inspired, and intelligent. Heavy metal has lasted for over 3 decades. How many genres of music last that long while managing to keep and recruit die-hard fans?
Not to mention that the complexity makes you smarter! It's not only classical music that does that!
Modern Pop is nothing but waste; all it is is getting money and getting your girlfriend pregnant. Metal and other Rock bands take on performance and team-ship. Metal unites people together and is more powerful than some Justin Berber song. It takes hard-work, time, and a lot of effort in order to create a song with meaning and rhythm.

I thought it was at 12 especially. Today? Even 20 years ago? Nah. I’d reserved brutal for grindcore & death metal. Once I heard Deicide’s “Legion” or “Once Upon the Cross” (live especially) and Napalm Death’s “Fear.Emptiness.Despair.” I thought., “That’s BRUTAL!”

Thanks for your excellent presentation. I left mainstream music because the subject matter was no longer relevant to me and the music had become empty and repetitive. Most of it was very shallow (composition- and subject-wise). With metal (all 32+ sub-genres of it) you enter a completely different world, not experienced by the masses - subject matter ranging from not only the desperate state of humanity and the planet, but also history, mythology, fantasy, science, philosophy, and compositions that could rival those of The Great Ones ("symphonic metal" from bands such as Nightwish and Epica). A lot of it is run, happy and uplifting, and a lot of it is indeed dark (for example, from the band Parasite, Inc.). I'm very happy to hear all of it. I feel it in my body (chills and goosebumps) like no other music has ever done.
