It'll be interesting to see what their next album sounds like. The thing with DGD is that they've never been afraid of changing their sound (while still sounding like DGD somehow) according to their vocalist. Andrew has a phenominal voice, but I REALLY hope he doesn't try to immitate Jonny or Tillian's styles on the next album. He can't do either of them justice IMO, they're way too unique in their own rights. Love Andrew as a back up vocalist, just not as a lead. I kind of hope they join up with another vocalist with a unique sound like they always have. That said, the last couple song they released with Andrew were really good and I did enjoy them! Always going to be a fan of DGD.

Speed demon and straight from the heart sound really good, he absolutely cannot do the songs tillian kurt and johnny did, but the new stuff they wrote around him goes really good, and it only makes sense because they're insanely talented so id love to see what they do with his vocals but its kind of sealing off the older work
Andrew is awesome! He's the lead singer of Eidola, and he's been around as a tourning member and featured vocalist in some DGD songs for a long time before officially joining two years ago. When he joined, he would share cleans with Tilian in most songs they released while they were both in the band (the Jackpot Juicer album and the two singles after that). Now that Tilian is out, instead of finding a new vocalist, Andrew stepped up, at least for the current shows and new two songs. If they will or will not get a new vocalist in the future, no one really knows.

Yeah, there are a couple songs where he does that, but I think it brings in an awesome new dynamic that there are now two people who can scream. I'm glad I got to experience Evaporate with Tilian but these new renditions are still cool. He nails most of the songs apart from one or two lines in WOTN and Evaporate.

Andrew just doesn't have the range for we own the night thats very much a tillian favoured track or any of his tracks except maybe current events if he works on his high range maybe ill change my mind til then tillian is the goat but again I have nothing against Andrew he's a fantastic vocalist in his own right but he's no tillian and nothing will change that Andrew just isn't my cup of tea.
You know Royal Coda exists, right? If Will says they went as far as they could with Kurt then I believe him. Andrew is much better fit than Tillian anyway. Better voice and the heavier Jon focused DGD is where it needed to go. It's not 2015, enough with the pop shit.

Andrew just doesn't have the range for we own the night thats very much a tillian favoured track or any of his tracks except maybe current events if he works on his high range maybe ill change my mind til then tillian is the goat but again I have nothing against Andrew he's a fantastic vocalist in his own right but he's no tillian and nothing will change that Andrew just isn't my cup of tea.

You know Royal Coda exists, right? If Will says they went as far as they could with Kurt then I believe him. Andrew is much better fit than Tillian anyway. Better voice and the heavier Jon focused DGD is where it needed to go. It's not 2015, enough with the pop shit.
