Make it free-floating and it becomes industry standard

I want to know 3 things:
    - how even is the tension among lugs?
    - how much does it actually maintain the tuning after playing it for a while or doing rimshots?
    - can you lock the tuning wheel to make sure it does not change by accident or while moving the drumset?

I am not sold on a cable system. It would be better if there was a way to tune directly at each lug. Why does the website say $999 ?

I’m sorry but I’m sticking to regular snares . Don’t mean to sound like I’m a prick but I like regular snares .

I had to change out the wires to a metal wire because my original wires that came of the snare snapped while tuning up and down a lot of times

Too heavy, screwed if string breaks during performance. Unreliable.

If you didn't abuse it by cranking the crap out of it, I would think it should last a long time. Did this teach you anything? Like respect your drums, they are musical instruments, not objects you pound on with sticks!! Try using some FINESSE, not FORCE. You will be amazed...
