BLENDER & SUBSTANCE PAINTER: TEXTURE EXPORT TO BLENDER

- In this final video of the SECURITY CAMERA series, I export the textures from Substance Painter back into Blender and show how to set them up. Since the UV's were done using the UDIM method, this requires a little more work but really it is still quite straightforward.

Great! Thanks for coming back.
How come you did not use the Blender preset over there in output templates?
I don't know, it's been a while since I did this video so can you remind me what you are referring to.
@@zerobio In SP during Import Mesh and Export textures there is a Blender preset if you check..Wondering if you ever used that and if there is a difference between the preset and the PBR Metalic-Roughness one..Thank you!
Had to go back and check. I have the Blender Cycles export template but I modified a similar template and added emissive since I often use that so that is why I don't often use the Blender template. Of course, I could easily add the emissive channel to that one, if I wanted to.
@@zerobio If in the future you decide to show again that topic in another video, that would be great :)
What does Udems mean?
It refers to having multiple UV tiles for an object. I have a couple of videos on this and you can search YT for more information.
