You can put photos on the bay window sill, if that helps. But I agree, I'd love to use that space for plants or clutter

A build idea, James random pack generator tells your story, where you get it to pick 3 random packs and you have to tell a story with the build. Ex: you get vampires, for rent and cats and dogs. It's a rental property for your vampire and their cat in Oasis spring

Every couple times I start up the sims 4 I always check the stuff packs to see if any of them are free
The bird feeder and wind chimes from this pack are my favorite (often overlooked) build items.
I completely agree! I love them both, & I feel like they are over looked by so many people.

my favorite part about this was the rug combo in the kid's bedroom, the frog on top of the flower just makes sense!

Why do you always put yourself and your builds down? This is a fun build. The stuff goes together. I totally don't get how you keep saying that nothing goes together. Again, I thought this was an adorable build.
It's not the first time when Kayla didn't use a foundation because of the garage, but you can make a "driveway" with a roof piece... It's not gonna be usable of course, but it'll look nice
I think she doesn’t use it because then you can’t put a car on there unless you use Tool to angle it, and she doesn’t use it. I was thinking the same when I was watching this video but I think that’s probably the reason. I think she did use it once on one of her legacy builds.
you can also use terrain levels and make a slow incline so it's not hitting foundation by the time it hits the garage door wall.
Kayla built the whole house using only the backyard stuff pack + base game. One month later, the backyard stuff pack is free. Hmm...so sus 🤔🤣

Not everything matches in most people’s homes. I have no issues using this pack and making a chaotic, lived-in home rather than an idealized house. There’s so many cute patterns and fun color combinations to explore.
Watching your builds are a blessing and a curse because you do so much I'd never think of, but now I notice all the crappy lighting on so many of the lots 😭🤣

today i learned that i use the things from the backyard pack a lot more than i thought. whenever i think of it i’m, like, “oh i never use the giant shark thing, i never use this pack at all,” but i literally use that little thing of lemons in all of my builds 😭 i always think it’s from the patio pack

such an underrated packk! some items are really hard to use and incorporate in *normal* builds, but the waterslides are so much fun!!!❤️

PRO TIP! If you want to have a garage but your house has a foundation, just put a roof in front of it and lover it to the height of the garage. Then just drag the end all the way to the ground and select a swatch that looks like concrete.
You can also do that with the terrain tool, but it takes more time 😂
Kayla puts more effort and care into her Sims builds than I do in virtually every aspect of my life.

i don't really care if things dont match perfectly, and actually love the chaotic "everything is slightly off" look, so this build is super cute to me, love all the colors, and i wouldve definitly used those gumdrop bushes as like, a center piece of "look at this weird funky thing!"

Next time when u want a garage in a house with a platform, use a roof as a ramp and use black shingles if u only have base game (there is probably better swatches for non base game homes but I only have base game and free packs so I don’t know any other good ones lol)

I'll never understand why she needs every color to match. Specifically with the flowers, like... huh? You want two different plants to match in their flower colors? I'm aware that sims4 isn't realistic but that is SO cartoony.

My whole soul was creaming for a back porch door to a bathroom with an exterior wall. My cousins grandparents have a second door to their bathroom that’s connected to the back porch. That way wet kids who were just swimming don’t walk through their house dripping water on everything.

i like the build, i haven't thought about backyard stuff in ages.... except for that round table, i think about 6 seat round tables all the time actually 😅
but actually, i came back a couple hours later just to say, your shirt and nails look exceptionally good in the thumbnail
(you look good in general obviously, but fashion choices seem better to compliment than one's appearance)
Would love to see you try to use every single swatch of every single item in a pack. Maybe in a row of townhouses? It sounds like hell but in a challenging way 😂
