Whenever they openly talk about how much they enjoy each others company, their flow really shines. they both feed on that understanding of "I want you here." My sweet little girls playing nice!

I actually work at a Ronald McDonald House and we provide free housing to families that have an ill or injured child. At my specific house, families have to live 40 miles away or more from the hospital where their child is being treated. Our main goal is to keep families close and support them while their child is receiving life saving care. As for the connection to McDonalds, the first ever Ronald McDonald house was built in 1974 with the money made from a Philadelphia Eagles / Shamrock Shake fundraiser. At the time one of the Eagle’s player’s daughter had leukemia and he wanted to raise money to build a house to support parents and families going through similar experiences. Anyway, just to be careful, all of this information and verbiage is not representative of Ronald McDonald House Charities and is simply my understanding of the organization.

Other passengers should be stepping up and they may have, like Brooke, just assumed the flight attendant was there and would have assisted her. The flight attendants only options are to ask others to help you, gate check the bag, or break the rules and risk their livelihood to help you. (Fun fact, the people in the emergency exit row have to be able bodied and capable of lifting 50 pounds. If they can’t help you with your bag, they can’t sit in that row.)

I taught my 3 yr old nephew DSDF in order to end an argument about the difference between a white tail deer buck and a bull elk. Brooke!!! I don’t even have the height disadvantage and I can’t stand lifting my carry-on above my head. The trick is being brave and telling the nearest man or flight attendant that you have a shoulder injury and need help ! Been doing this for 6 years
What are the odds, I also lost a pinky toenail this week. However, I’m blown away by Brooke’s story of not even knowing her’s was lost. My loss was the result of slamming it under a door, and included serious pain and bleeding 😂

I have a border collie, his name is Dillard, & it’s changed to Dill, Dill Pickle, Pickle. We even have a song we sing about pickles when it’s time to go potty. Dogs & having a true friendship with them is the best ever.

ALSO brooke ur so right about the meta hunger games commentary because the series turns the child death match into entertainment and like mockingjay is pretty much everyone’s least favorite because there’s no hunger games and the strategic war aspects aren’t as exciting

Brooke flight attendants aren’t paid during boarding at all. So they can’t help you lift your bag because if they injure themselves the company will not cover them at all. They will actually get punished. And this happens often. So she probably wanted to help but isn’t supposed to as so many flight attendants hurt their shoulders lifting bags. It’s not apart of their job at all. Their actual job is all safety related and are trained for all emergency situations on a plane you could think of. My moms a flight attendant and it makes me really mad when people are disrespectful to flight attendants
as a small young woman the flight attendants have told me they can’t help me lift my carry on into the above bin :( so it’s up to the citizens to help us, unfortunately.

The company is already going to donate all the money they are asking for - whatever you donate just goes to the company so they don't have to donate their own profits and can donate your money instead
