Jaina sure does bear a lot of guilt on her shoulders. And all because she wanted peace for all.
Peace is the most noble of goals but it is also the hardest one, because is easy to hate your enemies than it is to understand them.
Yup and if you go through Vanilla, TBC to the story's in WotLK that's all she tried to do was restore peace between horde and the alliance by trying to get Thrall and her Father to come to a compromise. Thrall was willing to try for peace but Jaina's father was not, as he let his prejudice get the best of him and in doing so creating an even bigger war then there was. Also because of that, King Varian Wrynn didn't understand what was going on so he blamed the horde for Jaina's father's death and his men not knowing it was a meeting of peace that ended in blood shed started by her father..... this whole situation is just sad and man I love Warcraft stories and lore.
Only when she's not blaming the horde for acting in self defense.
self defense? Well do not let Garrosh (MOP version) hear that or you will probably end up with his fist in your face if you are lucky, or Malkoroks ...
Because that is not why Garrosh organized the attack ... he organized it as a first step in the conquest of Kalimdore which he with all its resources saw as belonging to the Horde, but for that to be reality all of the Alliance presence on the continent needs to be removed. It had nothing to do with self defense.

In the Humans defense they have suffered 2 genocides in the first war along with mass raping and pillaging.
Then in the second they suffered another genocide.
After this their population was like half of what it was
Then not even a decade later the scourge annihlated their greatest kingdom and seat of their power and were left to die by the Blood Elves who retreated into their city.
Then the gurubashi empire attacked and stormwind got sieged by DEATHWING and after that Theramore got eradicated. Their 3rd greatest kingdom got cursed with lycanyhropy by a former ally of theirs (Sylvanas) who led many of their risen family members to kill the survivors.
Now
On top of all this they also had to deal a bunch of other miscellaneous garbage like the Defias Brotherhood as well as an Orc Uprising shortly before the events of WC3.
Theirs a reason why they have been described as both the youngest and most traumatized race on Azeroth.
Not too mention their origins of being orphaned rejects of the Vyrkul.
Humanities entire history on Azeroth is one constant pain train and repeated dick kickings
That's whats bothering me almost every expansion both alliance and horde suffers great loses and with every next expansion they have new armies like wtf in legion they lost much of their forces or this is how i understood it. In bfa both alliance and horde have losses right at the beginnig of the expansion(mostly Alliance) so i'm not worried at all when the old gods,void lords etc...come because we are going to have again some new and fresh armies or are we (the champions) soloing every enemy army every expansion?
I miss Arthas so much, a true *morally grey* character
The sad part of the nightmare is that when he fulfilled that promise she was not there for him and it lead to his death ... its why it haunts her so ...
In the line up did you notice Kinndy her apprentice between Varian and Ronin, I also think and it makes sent that the person right behind Jaina would be Uther. Dam that scene with the little gnomes body in Tides of War always gets me.
Damm I'm happy that I also have an Alliance character. I have to say... her storyline got me hooked much more than the Horde one.
El Macheto i agree the jaina story line (not the whole alliance storyline in total) is way better than the horde one and im a proud horde loyalist too xD

The mini cinematic where jaina confronts all the ghosts from Arthas to Rhirion and Kinney just hit me in the heart.
Daelin sure got his death because of his pride, tried to shoulder the war against the Horde by himself. BUT he sure was right, even if there are many people in the Horde that seek peace and wish no more war, the actions of the few between the leaders of the Horde did bring a lot of pain and destruction to the Alliance and many others, before his death and after it. His distrust was well placed, after all even if it were in response of Daelins raids, Thrall invaded and killed almost every man in Theramore, that was a bit too much.
I'm neither Horde nor Alliance, I like playing them both. But to me Daelin Proudmoore, even with his hatred, is a true marthyr and hero of the Alliance

@@anignorantbrit ok you are clearly buthurt so let me explain this in a manner you might understand.
It's true that the Horde have to some horrible shit, BEFORE Daelin, and after the events of the Lich King.... BUT, at that moment in time they posed no threath in fact, they were just looking for a home.
I understand that Daelin has experienced horrors from the Horde of the past, but at that MOMENT in TIME, his actions are not justified, he wanted to slaughter a civilised and calm part of the horde that is trying to find their way.
Take a look at Thrall as an example, he was imprisoned ever since he was a child, even groomed by a human to be a gladiator and then had the only human that cared for him killed and her head THROWN in his face. After all of that, sure he still holds grudges about the very things he experienced, but he had the fucking balls to put it all aside for an ultimate goal. Which poor sad little Daelin could never do, couldn't even trust his own daughter, heck even Thrall tried to REASON with him before fighting.
He was a victim of being unable to cope with the past, but he was indeed WRONG

I just realized.... when Jaina and co rescue Baine, and she and Thrall have a chance to talk, he says exactly the same thing! "It feels like I did everything wrong..." Sorry, I just now noticed it, lol!
You missed one. There is a final cinematic after the siege of Boralus called "Pride of Kul'tiras'. The storyline by the way of Kul'tiras is the fleet that Kul'tiras is renowned for has been lost at sea for years, trapped in a storm, being held hostage by followers of Azshara and unable to return. This leaves Kul'tiras vulnerable, and Lady Ashvane is in fact the villain, plotting behind their back, and ultimately uses pirates to try and overthrow Boralus, the capitol, in a final massive siege.
That is, if you haven't played and seen it all yourself.
