Donna, I have to send you a big hug here and say thank you. This v scarf was my first ever crochet project. I had no idea what to do, but knew I wanted to pursue crochet as a hobby. I frogged it several times before something just clicked and there was no looking back. 7 years later and I've become an advanced crocheter and have even sold my work! So grateful for you!❤
These are the best instructions EVER!!! I LOVE how you use the written pattern alongside what you are doing and you speak clearly and slowly and show what you are doing. I've seen hundreds of crochet videos and this is up there for best instructions.
Such a simple, light and lovely scarf. Love the way the bamboo yarn drapes. Thanks for the clear instructions. Those little diagrams make it so easy to visualize. Love this scarf!

I love your simple pattern. It is simple yet beautiful. I just love Kristin's yarn, don't you?! I will definitely be making this pattern using her yarn. Thanks for a beautiful tutorial to make this.
Your patterns and your tutorials are so wonderful! Your instruction is clear and I love the way you used the charts along the way. My favorite part of this and other videos is what I hesitate to call a "cheat", but the alternative double crochet especially in this video is really nice. It has a cleaner look to it! 💜 Thank you for sharing.
I love the pattern. It is helpful to give measurements of the halfway chain length. I will add beads and pendent in the center point. Great summer scarf-necklace. Use different yarns and colors to make accessories. Gift idea for my friends. Thank you
Hallo Donna, du machst super schöne Handarbeit und ich liebe deine sehr schönen Erklärung. Natürlich arbeite ich einige Modelle von dir auch nach. Vielen lieben Dank
Hi Donna, I love your tutorial and your V Scarf is Gorgeous! I will be making this in Purple soon as I get my yarn. Thank you for the tutorials & sharing your Beautiful gift of Crocheting with us. I Appreciate it very much!
This is just what I was looking for today. I have some leftover King Cole Giza cotton dk yarn and so far it's turning out just as I had hoped. It works up fast. Thanks for the pattern, Donna!
Just finished and l thank you for such a wonderful tutorial... on the last row of double crochet l continued along the short side with single crochet, then attached yarn to the other short end and single crocheted along that side . Though it finished it off nicely. 🤩
Almost done it's a beautiful scarf I get a little confused as you go so quickly especially this last round I hope I'm doing the 3 double crochets into the right spot. I've watched it over about 4 or 5 times trying to see which stitch you go into. Thank you for the tutorial can't wait to find the perfect little embellishments for the scarf.
Hi Donna. Love your many patterns and appreciate your videos - thank you. Would you have a v-scarf pattern like this one but with a more closed pattern.
i love the pattern thank you.only issue i had was i used the g hook like you said and #4 yarn .but mine turned out way to short.i did my two colors and had a white strip in center .so since it was to short and i had to add on to each end 25 rows. i had a sharf with no strip on the ends .so i saject,s 156 chains for each side 312 chains total. to have the drape as showing by teacher. but other wise love love the pattern. ill be makeing a second one this weekend.
hola naztazia soy de México... estoy iniciando éste proyecto, pero me gustaría hacerlo con el acabado que trae en las puntas... perdon hay tutorial de.esto?
Hi! The ALT-DC takes the place of having to do that chain 3 to turn the work. Feel free to substitute the ALT-DC in any other patterns and eliminate the chain 3. Some patterns look good with that chain 3 in the beginning, but I find that if you are doing something with all DCs on the row, the chain 3 sticks out and looks kind of awkward - hence why I like using the alternative DC ;)
I love the scarf and I love the yarn you used, but is kind of expensive. is it any other similar that I can use the have the same draped effect? thank you
Wow! So beautiful & unique, love it. Can't wait to make it. Need to finish current project & then onto this one for sure. Great accessory for and plain shirt! Thank you.
I love this pattern. I’m working on it now. I just have one question. At the end of the second row, where do I put my last DC? Thank you again for a wonderful pattern.
That's the idea of triangle chal but without the bulky look wish I don't like. Instead, this is so elegant, so femenine. Thank you 😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗( hope I expressed myself correctly, is not my language)
I love the V Scarf, I recommend it to everyone in a quandary about what to make. Can you tell me how well this would work up using Mandala yarn? I want something a little warmer, but still light enough for summer wear. I love your instruction and tips. I feel like I'm already a success just watching you! Thank you!

I started this scarf but the amounts of chains doesn't match the long of the one you are wearing. maybe there is a mistake with the ch 202 because it doesn't have that long showing in the pictures. please let me know
Hello - there is no mistake. The scarf I designed starts off with 202 chains. Are you using Kristin's yarn that I used in the video? If not, it's important to use an equivalent sport-weight yarn, otherwise the length will be off.
Hello I am trying to get your pattern for the V scare with tails, I have a video but no written pattern. I wonder could you tell me how to get it, I’m just love it, many thanks Gillian
Hi Naztazia, it's a pretty scarf and I'll like to make one. Can I use a size 10 crochet thread? I'm worried it might not finish up the same size as yours.
You can use size 10 thread. On my website I have different chain #s you can use. I would suggest using one of the larger numbers since the size 10 thread is a bit thinner. naztazia.com/patterns/crochet/accessories/scarves/crochet-v-scarf.html
Hi making this beautiful scarf right now. I have a question. At the end of row 2 in the last stich do I make a DC and a ch before I turn for row 3? Thank you in advance.

And purple is my favorite color :) The pendant things are sort of inexpensive lightweight metal coins.
