I often get off track with my minimalist path, but coming here to watch Benita's videos always gets me back on track. I just adore your apartment and kitties!! My dream home! :)
Benita, I just wanted to say thank you so much for your content! It really makes me feel peaceful to watch, and gives me ideas on how to simplify and live a better life. All the small ways of making things a little nicer for ourselves really do add up.
You made that duvet look way too easy! When I do mine, it counts as a full cardio workout. Resets are my favorite - refilling things and prepping for the week makes everything run smoother. ❤️
😀 I only recently heard the term “reset.” I have slowly been starting to do that, but did not have a word for it. It makes a huge difference to “reset” at the end of the day and end of weekend. So that workday mornings are nice an relaxed because everything is ready for the day.
As always, simple pleasures and simple work seem to lead to your happiness. I am currently helping my daughter, who is very busy working in healthcare in the US, set up her new (built in 1962, but new to her) home. I wonder if you would consider a video on how you visualize and select materials for a new space before you move in. What I actually wish is that you would come to Colorado and help me do it, but it's like you have your own life or something 😁

I've adopted a new mantra - "put it away, not down." It's amazing how much tidier my house is. Especially those zones that tend to be a catch-all for everything. I'm no where as neat and organized as you are (too much stuff) but I'm working on it! Thank you for the inspiration.
Oh my god! Those avocado plants!!! I remember watching that video when you placed seeds in the water. I showed it to my husband saying we should try that. And we did! Replanted into soil at the end of spring and by now they grown into 50 cm trees
Your cats are pretty neat in regards to the litter outside their box. I have two cats, and when they're done using their litter box my bathroom looks like a beach. Wonderful video, as usual. Looking forward to Autumn in Stockholm.

I have watched your Vlog for over a year now, always a special vlog that I reserve for the weekend, as it helps me to refocus and refresh. I love clean and simple space myself, the idea of visual decluttered is an amazing idea, I re-organized my bookshelves this weekend, I feel so much lighter and relax, absolutely loving it. I was going through cancer treatment last year, and your Volg help me focus on my living environment, I used the time during the treatment period to organize and declutter my house, its helped me to find love and joy in life again. Ah, this is lovely. Just a small tip: if you fold your bath towel longways first when you get it out of the wash then when you unfold it to put it on the towel rack it will take fewer movements to have it in the right format to hang. Does that make sense? A little tip I learned along the way :) Now I need to go and reset my house!

As I had double electricity on my farm I kept it in my little townhouse. I wash on the weekend because it's cheaper and at night. My Sunday is a lot like yours. And as I read, like a lot of commenters too ;>D
I do reset days as well where I do all sorts of what I think of as little odd jobs. I also take one day a month and take one room and give it a very thorough cleaning from top to bottom. It keeps it manageable and over the year, each room gets cleaned at at least twice.
You have inspired me to tidy up the laundry area. I organized the cleaning products, accessories using white containers and baskets. It looks amazing. Thanks for your videos and your suggestions.

Another wonderful video, thank you! I just moved into a new bedroom and used some of your color pairings when decorating and just love it. The walls are a light sage green that I couldn't easily change so I used cool gray and white as my main bedding and curtain colors with natural cherry furniture and floors and it's so calm and relaxing in here. :)

Thank you Benita for this video. Great idea! I have already created a recurring calendar reminder which reads: RESET DAY including DIGITAL. I have chosen Sunday also. However much I try to keep on top of digital decluttering, I have thus far have never had a routine for doing so. Like another of your followers below, I find your videos relaxing and even soothing. A nice start to a new day! I always watch them full screen, which immediately eliminates all the distraction from desktop images/files and other open applications.... Bonne journée!

Looking very tanned and healthy Benita. Putting duvet covers on comforters is my pet hate so I've started tying two corners of the comforter to the inside out cover ( with some shoelaces ) and it's a game changer. It not only helps to make the task easier but also stops the comforter from moving about inside the cover.

I worked a summer on a ferry as a cabin maid in my late teens. Learned that trick then and have never looked back!

We bought the kitty litter box where they go in to the hole on the top of the box - no more beaches! A simple switch that made so much difference.
