I wonder if the Sams club next door was Pace Membership Warehouse because Kmart used to own pace before pace being bought by Wal-Mart stores Inc in 1993/1994 and most if not all were converted to Sams club
So sad that Michigan no longer has Kmart, and it really sucks because Kmart was originally Michigan-based. For those of us in the Midwest states, at least we still have Meijer which is another good Michigan-based company
I remember when the tilghman street Kmart in Allentown PA first open it had its own grocery area but they never called it a super Kmart. It was a full scale grocery area not like a couple aisles.
At first you had me fooled I thought this was the Chillicothe store I don't know if its still there but there was a terrible abandoned kmart and super kmart somewhere in Ashtabula
Kmart made such a good supercenter concept until walmart and target followed them with that Kmart was the original supercenter at the time lots of people can't see it but would you shop at Super Target or Super Kmart if super kmart still existed
I’m very surprised that nobody has bought this building yet. They need to put something at the south end of port Huron. North end of port Huron is just too far for people that have to ride a bus or bike. I know the south end kroger that has a a lot of business. Just wish like they put a Costco or something.
Yes! Definitely agree that this building definitely needs to become something instead of just sitting here. I’ve been to Port Huron a few times and always wondered why this huge building just sits empty.
the superkmarts can all be turned into something since they came out in teh 90s and 2000's so they are modern enough that other companys can use them with out to much work kmarts some the kmarts are anceint and no one wants to use them
I never was able to head inside, because me and my mom always went to the Sam's Club next door. Kinda shocking how intact the building still is.

It feels colder at 50 degrees here in coastal Mississippi than it does In Michigan at 50 degrees. Humidity is higher

I used to go to the Super Kmarts in Tinley Park and Bradley, but those stores have gone extinct!
that location been closed since 2014 it’s always been a dirty nasty location when open and very ghetto at night never was a clean location.

It was rumored that a Kroger superstore was going to be put here and it never went through. To replace the one at the south end.
