You kids love this huh? We all bought this album cannot understand why no cuts were hits. Strange times back then! But a lot of people loved it and I played it on the radio anyway years later too! People thought Fleetwood Mac had a new album out! Lol:) yes old but good even if not gold!
I purchased this album in 1973, introduced it to my girl friend and now my wife for 46 years. At the time we ended up buying two more copies because we flat out wore 2 out. Still have one that we saved all these years from our dating years. What a wonderful time we had listened to this unknown album at that time. 50 years later it is still one of our top albums. Let me tell you that you have done a wonderful production for being your first attempt. I have subscribed and liked this presentation.I hope you will continue your productions well into the future. OUTSTANDING !!! Who knew they would hook up with Mick Fleetwood , John and Christine Mcvee for their next album.
I heard this lp in late '73... Buckingham Nick's was to open for Fleetwood Mac in the fall of '74 but cancelled...then they showed up in Fleetwood Mac...I have a pristine copy of the only Buckingham Nick's lp😊
I bought this album when it first released. I don’t know what drew me to it… I guess it could have been the pic of Stevie on the album cover. I was a 19 year old boy so… Anyway, after listening, I was hooked, I must have worn out at least three copies. I still have one. 😊
I stumbled over this album by chance in the reduced priced records box in 1982. Never had heard about it before. Bought it and never regretted it. Still one of my favourite records Fleetwood Mac never has made. Still cannot understand why this album cannot be found on the big music streaming platforms.
Realllllly nice memories, feelings ... and enjoying free, unmonitored lives!!! Something even our own kids missed out on. What a difference between then & now, eh. We had fuuuun🎶🎵
One of my top 20 albums of all time! Thank you for this. Nothing like vinyl. I had a great collection and lost them all in a flood. Thank goodness for Mick Fleetwood hearing this, and the rest is history!
One of my favorite albums. It actually sold well here in Alabama where they played some shows in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa. Still have my album from years ago. Found a copy in a local record store that was a radio station demo copy a couple of years ago also, the cover was beat up a little, but the album didn’t have a scratch on it. Gave it to a friend that didn’t have the album.
Found this in 76, one of the best albums ever, no filler tracks...also where I first Found Waddy Wachtel, Stevies music director/elec guitar today. Immediate Family.
I just got rid of all my vinyl. This is the ONE album I kept. I was 12 when this was released and my older brother bought it. I guess that makes it my number one and I never get tired of it. Could never find it digitally…this one sounds amazing. Thank you!
Sounds Excellent ! You took very good care of the album ! A very rare gem indeed. The master tapes were stolen by so called ' friends ' Thank you for uploading !
Divinely, I so want this vinyl. Alas, there are few offers, the price is high and there is no delivery to Russia. Rip is great, perhaps the best bookmarked.
I feel blessed to be able to hear this! Though big FM fan since age 14 yrs old huge Stevie lover and admire of her wonderful style songstress and poetry lyrics and Lyndsey’s ability to take her poetry to this level , 2 GENUIS 2 lovers 2 wild hearts!🥰
great job if anyone dislike it well i say try it yourself. love the album , rare , an your album obviously is top quality . i also have 2 put amay. keep up the good work !!!
o' gahd: i saw this debut LP show in 1973, when stevie declared her stardom... 😂✨💫💜 can't say i always agreed with her whole career, but this LP, was the only one of all of theirs that i ever owned a copy of of. :) Thanks for the nice post. :)
I remember getting an album by Richard Torrence and Eureka. They covered " Don't Let Me Down Again". Hearing the original makes me see why Fleetwood thought they'd be a good addition to the band.
Why didn’t I buy this vinyl in my shop? My mum. Bc of its cover revealing”living in a House of Victorian British standards … Well that’s why. 😢😢😢😢 later when I was older to try and get a copy now I’m into CDs …the RECORD COMPANY DROPS THEM. Crystal,is one of the most beautiful and haunting pieces of music ever written by the sweet harmonies of love, like they’d just found that LOVE. In the Buckinghams coffee place where they were alone months writing ,if you are a OG fan you’d understand.l… Many songs are about the act of ❤❤ I think they broke up not maybe over the cheating like who did who to who. But the fame don’t forget they after Rumours they got very very rich fast every thing was very fasttttttt. As Stevie and the rest of them are sober now that’s all I say
Ill never forget my mom refusing to buy me Black Sabbaths "We Sold Our Souls For Rock n Roll" back when it first came out for very similar reasons. She wasnt overly religious but to sell your soul was a bridge to far for her. My dad burned my Areosmith shirt i bought at their show from the Night in the Rut tour because the the letters were crossed out to read Right in the Nuts....lol, gives me a chuckle everytime i think about that. Miss my mom and dad
I have this album and curious if there is any resale value in it. Its cover is in good condition and i personally have never played the album. I believe ive had this album since the early 80s and i think it was part of my older brothers collection and he passed in 1980 at age 25.
Thanks for uploading. If you have a second, I'm a jazz vocalist and I have posted a live contemporary jazz performance on my channel. As a fellow music lover, I'd love if you would check it out. Hope you enjoy!
Please let me know how you guys think it sounds. It's my first video and I am all ears for ways to improve the video or the audio! thanks!
Sounds Wonderful
Sounds Great! doing God's work, man
Sounds exactly how I heard it in 1974
Your post is crisp, but I would go louder. This record set the table for the great Mac records that followed.
Super good. Except that crying in the night starts a few seconds in

You think 😊
A STUNNING debut from two incredibly talented people, a masterpiece that very few people heard back in '73, are aware of now, or likely ever will.
I listened to in 77 14:32 i think I discovered it.

One of my all time favorite albums. I bought it when I was around 14 and still have it.
Realllllly nice memories, feelings ... and enjoying free, unmonitored lives!!! Something even our own kids missed out on. What a difference between then & now, eh.
We had fuuuun🎶🎵
I still have this record and wish it could be re-released. ❤️

Great album. Stevie is my all time favorite artists.
Smooth.
Thanks so much for sharing! I was just looking for this on Apple Music and was surprised to find it's not available there.
It’s not available anywhere 😢 unless you have it. Sadly I left mine in Mesa AZ in November 2007.
Sounds Excellent ! You took

Whats your email? I can send you a copy
On this case; a "burn" may be better than a "rip".

Lindsey and Stevie were roommates with Warren Zevon back in those days...
Sounds awesome, good copy you got there.

Where did you get this vinyl? I just ordered this CD on Amazon.
Se escucha de mil maravillas! y que discazo!
thank you! the sound is excellent
Best album, Buckingham Nicks made Fleetwood Mac. Took them to the rock god stratosphere. MAC didn’t want Stevie can you imagine that!
Sounds great! Thank you
Maravilhoso❤️👍🏻

Would you happen to have any of The Band or Almand Brothers?
Could you record it in a 24bit/48khz flac and post it please? this album is rare
No idea why this has never been given a reissue. Bizarre (as are many of the decisions taken by this era of FM)
This is pre-Fleetwood Mac

Hasn't the man a lovely chest.
Without a leg to stand on kind of reminds me of cat Stevens
У Бакингема есть что-то общее с Джоном Лисом из Барклай Джеймс Харвест.

sounds like the musicianship is there, but both Lindseys and Stevies voices sound better on the Mac albums
funny....play vinyl and digitize it....records are a scam, no one can tell the difference
