Gary, I'm a former cbot pit trader with 30 yrs experience and agree with you 100%. In my opinion, those who disagree with you about the grind and hitting singles just don't have the experience, proper training, and understanding to realize what it takes to be consistent and have a lasting career in the trading world.
Gary's Norden Method is much more than method since it is a combination of trading skills/techniques, market knowledge, mental framework, and the philosophy behind the framework. The multiple layers of wisdom train people not only to have an accurate picture of what a market is, but also the elements of being successful in the competition. While many traders expect big wins, Gary teaches us to learn the mentality of keep grinding. When superficial Technical Analysis courses tell people to predict the market and where the high and the low of the market, Gary tells the truth that trading is not about prediciting direction. While it seems that the easily-digestable Technical Analysis courses make every one become a trader, Gary indicates trading is not a game for every one.This trading veteran's comprehensive method build a man to become successful and has longevity in trading. Interestingly, many retail traders do not like what Gary says and do not even try to hear. What a pity!
How can you identify who do you trade against? I don't think it's possible. On the order flow you just see numbers. You never know who is buying/selling. It could be a big hedge fund, it could be 100 retail traders, it could be banks... Can someone explain how exactly do you see who do you trade against?

I've watched multiple videos with Gary and I still can't get a single sense of what his trading strategy is and how he is identifying who is on the other side of the trade, as he says he does. There are never any specifics. Feels very nebulous and starting to wonder if this is just another retail scam. Why no details to show people what this method actually entails?

All they did back in the day as "market makers" was STEAL the huge bid/ask spreads from everyone. Which were again, huge - shit like 1/4 and 1/2!! Now they want to claim there was some stategic magic to all the thievery they we doing and we should pay them to learn it. ok...
