0:28 Rejection - it's (almost) never personal, it's the offer they are rejecting and not you. 2:40 The imposter syndrome - before going into any sales conversation, remind yourself why you are qualified to be in that conversation. 4:55 Fear of loss - you're trying to fulfil a future state that is outside of your control. 6:32 Fear of failure - you start negotiating yourself out of a sale because you hear what the client desires/wants and you're not sure if you can fulfil that. 8:16 Fear of success - you can't internalise succeeding at a higher level, so start small and work your way up to bigger income levels.
This video has it all! From Kung Fu to self development to Business development. This will help a lot of people. I’m sharing it on LinkedIn and my Facebook Page.
I would say even more, man. They never say no to you, they only say YES to something else. No is always Yes to something else. And it is a skill to see what people says Yes to.
Beginning as a freelancer, it's crazy how much you notice yourself trying to be what you think clients want you to be. I really appreciated this advice to be yourself in your business...you articulate this better than most people out there, and it's inspiring for this newbie! Thanks :)
Yeah...I don't know what's wrong with me. I was writing down fears that occur during selling and hit five and 5 Finger Death Punch popped into my head and I had to make a video with a similar title.
Tim, there is no fear of selling. There is only one fear, and the fear of selling is one way this fear manifest itself. The fear of the unknown is the only fear. It is not the selling that we fear, but rather a certain element of unknown in relation to selling. When you address the unknown, you fix the fear...
@@TimConley First, identify what belief is driving the fear. The unknown will hide itself in the belief in one way or another. For example, suppose you are afraid of selling because you have a fear of being rejected. Really, it is the not knowing that causes the fear. So, the best think to do is to identify the belief that causes you to fear rejection. When you find the belief, challenge it and grow into a more resourceful belief, you will not fear rejection, and therefore selling.
That intro was rockin! 🤘🤘 Every video you put out is better than the next! I'm going to have to stop watching because you're making my videos look like crap!
Awesome TIm 😊

Philosophically I agree with you, though I don't know how to translate it into practice.
