Radical SR1 - 11.000 RPM Hayabusa Engine - Loud Sound!

Filmed this awesome Radical SR1 during an ADS trackday in October. Despite running with a muffler it still sounded incredible and you could hear the car well into the distance.
Raced by Radical Nederland in the Supercar Challenge (amongst a few other Radicals), this SR1 features a 1340cc 4-cylinder Hayabusa bike engine. According to one of the mechanics, in race trim - without the muffler - this SR1 produces 220 horsepower. During this trackday though, with the restricted exhaust, it was making 200. The redline is at an incredible 11.000 RPM, giving it the awesome distinct bike-engine soundtrack. 200 (or 220) might not sound like a crazy amount of power but in a car weighing just under 500kg (1100lbs) this results in some serious speed. Thanks to the very potent downforce of the car it corners like a small prototype whilst still having enough horsepower per (aerodynamic) weight to push the car past 220kph (140mph).
