So much fun learning with you bro! What a blast!
Crazy I lived right by both y’all.. Buford baby!!
That experience had to be SO MUCH fun!
I'm really glad you covered this, it's difficult to find information about stuff like this, especially when you see alot more car UA-camrs doing time attack and circuit style driving, it's a breath of fresh air from the car reviews
So awesome to see you branching out to something new. Not a lot of people getting into circuit track racing and I'm glad to see that we'll be seeing more stuff like this from you! Really exciting for sure!
With those prices, looks like carting is the best some of us will ever get
check out champcar
Love this content! Great work man and can't wait to see more videos on the race side of things!
The more driving courses I can take the better!
There's a couple EcoBoost powered Radical SR3's that come to GRIDLIFE events up here in the northeast and while my EXOCET has much more power I can only ever keep up on the straights, in the corners its not even close. Only at my home track, Lime Rock Park, can I consistently get better lap times. I would definitely like try this school. Great video dude 🤙
Bro I want an Exocet so bad, how’s the experience been?
AMP is a BEAST of a course. What a great place for a racing school.
Very impressive! A lot of people talk about earning a racing license, but not many actually do.
I've had 34 cars, trucks and vans, and 6 motorcycles. I've had 11 sports cars that were monsters. A few of them were 8 cylinder, a few were 6, a few were 4. But my dream is to build a turbo Kawasaki Ninja in an ultralight kit car. I like Ninja's, I've got one. Not splitting up my bike to make a car.
But what interests me more is the license. I'm going to pursue that with these guys.
some of those crazy shots from the camera on the car are absolutely melting my brain with the visual perspective warping
Nice video! Thanks for putting this on my radar!
You gotta check out the blue marble radical cup as they are the radical series that races in the US. Very low barrier of entry to get in and compete too
Thank y'all for the video and information, looks to be an incredible time!!! From what I've researched, AMP seems to be one of the VERY FEW tracks in the Southeast that one can tow a motorcycle behind the track car and be able to enjoy both at the same location. Cannot wait to attend Primal and get my racing license ASAP, especially with a Hayabusa-powered SR1!
For those with sim rigs and a pc, radical has an offical mod for RFactor2. If not Iracing's paid subscription has one too.
This was such a cool episode. I'm looking forward to a follow-up with Pirmal!
dude! this video is super helpful and just overall fantastic content!! great job bro!
My boy just took the professionalism to another level. Such a great driver and cool dude
Dude your videos have grown so much, as a long time subscriber, I am proud of you man!
for the viewers.
you can buy almost 4 sets of 18" te37's for the 3 day and 2 day course price . good grief i was thinking it was maybe $2-3k for everything. I need to open a racing school.
Race schools can get up there yeah. Entry fees for various events can really add up as well, not even considering your consumables, etc.
For running this type of place there's also their running costs, insurance, yadda yadda; being a business they probably still want to turn a profit at the end of the day. Not attacking or defending just hoping to offer some context.
It's as if racing wasn't cheap...
so sick congrats dude for what you said at the very start i think anyone who doesn't think they can improve is a week driver if you think you know everything you never will there is always something to learn and improve on
The most important things before dropping the hammer. You need heat in the tires and brakes! It’s why they zig zag before the start of the race
i knew i wanted my racing license, but this makes it seem legitimately accessible
See man, I really don't have the need to get my racing license, but I think that I would be able to do well in this course. I brought my brother, my dad, my uncle, and a couple other people to Pittsburgh Race Complex (which used to be known as Beaver Run) and they had a karting course that we went on. I lapped everyone multiple times (and I had never been on that course before), but after so long they sent one of the instructors out to chase me down. He did, and while he did pass me, I chased him down, matched him lap for lap until I passed him. Afterwards they actually invited me to be an instructor. They asked me how I was able to drive as well as I did and I told them that I drag raced my turbo EJ8 (1996-1998 Civic coupe) there a few times, but I have always been good with speed, knowing how to find the apex of a turn and figure out the best racing line around said turn, and learn more lap by lap. That being said, I am in NO WAY a professional, I learn by doing, I am just stating that I think this would be so much fun.
Great vid! Look forward to seeing you out there for one of the races hopefully!
Really wanted to do this! Awesome and congrats!
So I went straight to the notes to try to register. It’s $5000😮. I’m going to have to save for this. But this would be so dope to attend
10:00 - I'll never forget at Mid-Ohio with NASA Great Lakes did a 3 wide rolling start in DE4. It was WILD!
CONGRATS, BRO!!!🎉😊
Good Footage..love that there is someone talking about actual driver improvement...👍🏽🏁
If you still have the f150 ever thought about building it or bolt ons
Down force is a tricky concept to overcome in your head because your body and instincts are fighting you every step of the way. It feels so unnatural to keep pressing it through the corners.
Awesome dude 👍😎😎 greetings from India 🙏🤘 have a great day dude 😎
Even more fun on the road.
This is awesome and something I need to look into
Really love that you're getting a racing license! Hope you enjoy all your cars even more!
Damn I didn't know I needed string theory for racing. I'll enroll in a graduate physics program and then get back to cars in a few years.
I found this very helpful thanks for sharing it!👍🏼
Can't wait for the next video.
this is sick yo. ill never possess the ability to adequately race against others. hell even myself. ill stick to backroad cruising. awesome to watch and learn though.
GOOD LUCK DAVID 🤓🇺🇸👍
Been waiting for content like this! Looks like a ton of fun and definitely want to experience this school one day! It's going on my list of race schools.
Have you thought of trying the team O'Neil rally school? Or motocross camp?
The O'Neil rally school has been on my bucket list for a long time. Asolutly love rallycar.
Sick miniramp dude. I hate Skatelite personally but I'm so jealous.
David would never be ballin.....2:15 😳😳
So... In the words of Alex Kersten, "You're pretty much a racing driver". 😜
Just curious David, are you by chance left handed? Since most right handed people naturally prefer cornering to the left, both on bike and in cars.
that one week later footage was some giving proper race vibes btw, nice job! 👍
Pretty interesting to see different stuff than the usual, not to say that your usual vids are bad
Damn man, it's almost like riding a motorcycle on track!
Love the video could you possibly try to do a review on an ess g2 mustang. I’ve heard is the best bang for your buck. The only boost kit I could find for $4500.
I would love to take a course like this but I'm assuming it's close to 10k for this course
Could you also talk more about cost ?
Alternative title: "I prepare to race at Le Mans".
Wondered about this for awhile.
8:14 you need to drive more amercain muscle... because that is the very first thing you learn when you want to set lap times or race in one.
In car audio could have used the dan touch. ❤
Rad-ical!
See if they have the bigger 3.5 ecoboost radical and if they will let you review that when ur finished with you license.
That Radical SR1 is a bad little bitch, it's a HIGHLY capable car. You can push the absolute limits of your driving skill in one of those things.
we need more videos of the sonic man!
This is awesome. I wonder if Barbers has the same type of thing
Live in Hueytown and i think they do have a Skip Barber Racing School itd be cool to do this !
@Shanna Collins my wife is from there, we're in Trussville right next to Barbers but I've never been.
I want to hit that mini ramp 😎!!!!
For the love of god, please tell me there's a video about that sweet Sonic in the back.
What a dream. How much somethin like that cost?
It's like getting your license in Grand Turismo...sort of
If you ever want to try the SR8 in europe let me know, we’re radical dealers from spain
I’m absolutely down!
I miss the chevy sonic 😅
Way to go #thatdudeinblue
Was pretty hyped for a second, a fast track way to do what I always wanted in life…. Until I saw the price lmao wagie stuck in my cagie fml
JFC, we just want to hear the sound of the car, bro. That’s it.
Now you can act like you are better than everyone else in life like some of the other youtube racers 😝
Hater
@@Alfonso4354aww you cant take a joke? Did someone hurt you?😂
@@Alfonso4354 I mean he did casually dis any one with an "American" license.... Even though I have a Floridian leaners Lisnce and knew more from life, interest in cars and a life time of racing games and sims... Like string theory is how you race and even just drive high power RWD cars. And their is ton is of nunce in that that you can learn in Forza Horizen for crying out load...
Is it this a FIA license or not? In Europe your national license is basically a entry level FIA license and the only way to upgrade is to complete a series of races without crashes.
No, this license is for SCCA sanctioned races here in the USA. The SCCA is the amateur/entry level sanctioning body for racing here in the US. If you want to race different higher levels of racing you have to attain each license. (NASCAR, NHRA, INDYCAR, .ect)
Im too fat and $6000.00 is a lot.of cheddar 😢
how did this video bomb !?!?
What does this license do for you? Other than just knowledge
Today we gonengrub for under half a duuub
2:10 Who's the lesbian
DUDE.. can we PLS hear more of the engine and LESS talking?? U cant be real for that
About that licnce quip... 1. their is no national driver's liscnce 2. I have a Floridian leaners Lisnce(IIt's an 18+ permit.) and knew this stuff from just living on this planet, being interesting in cars and games and sims and am a good driver IRL and in those sims... How you described the radical is the same as Mario kart, Forza, AC1 you want to be foot to the floor as much as possible. 3. Any lisnce should be about safety and how to operate in public not teach you how to drive... Unless you think the Airline pilots, Astronueghts, cargo ship, truckers and conceled gun owners don't have lisnces and don't represent what one should be. Edit: missed a word...
But you can't spell !
Only 10k ?
:)
bro less talking more driving
Congrats! Officially a racist now!
Check out targa Newfoundland if your interested in tarmac rally there always looking for new competitors
If you aren’t a race car driver by the time you are six you’ll never be one. Also if you aren’t a super short small person give it up now. Reason they are all short and little.
I'm Here! It sucks you have to have your license tho, because I can wheel... But I don't have my license...🥲
