You should check out the anomaly option, it is the little swirl button right above "Go!" after picking which raman noodle you're playing in this mode, aslo as you win with these classes you get new hero powers and starting decks.
Its sad to see the AI so broken, because it really does take a bit of the enjoyment out of an otherwise hilarious stream. The first few times was funny, but now its just gotten absurd. The AI was always bad, it would constantly mess up order and sometimes do dumb things while deciding whether to trade or go face, but it wasn't this bad. It didn't used to buff my units with spells or kill off their own units with damage. EDIT: Just watched the ending. Oh my god wow. I have no words.

I'm still watching your Vods on Twitch and since you're almost 'done' with PvE I would like to suggest going back to the ones you played before and maybe fish for specific decks and or treasures and builds. Some PvE content you were so fast to finish that you didn't experienced it all yet. Dungeon Run Kobolds and Catacombs (the first one you played) you haven't even seen all bosses yet, I think, and even though you got secret bosses in some runs you didn't know what to do with them. So there are also some secrets left to 'discover'. Finishing a run with each class at least once could also still be a goal. And fishing for synergy decks like C'thun or Jade Golem is quiet easy in Dungeon Run or even just experimenting with the double battlecry and deathrattle passives can be quiet fun since you rarely chose them over your love for scepter. Or with the spell damage passive you could try a full spell damage Mage. Or a full random spell mage with minus spell cost reduction etc etc etc. This all can be done in the very first Dungeon Run already. Other PvE adventures open up or close some options. Tombs of Terror for example opens up multiple decks and hero powers for each class so that gives replayability too. Rasthakans rumble, even though not my favorit, also has more to offer than you first thought. I think you didn't like that you can't pick your class. But you actually can, the shrines you pick from at the start will determine your class it will say so underneath the shrine. You're just always stuck with the 3 options presented until the next run. Not the best mode still but maybe its fun for a stream or 2. So don't abandon PvE just yet if you don't want to. Lots of things to do if you would like. I'm personally not sick of it yet. (But also love Arena so I would love to see that too :D)
The AI is completely shot from what it used to be. Their decks and mana and hero powers are still stacked, but it doesn't mean much when they're constantly making sub-optimal plays. The AI used to absolutely decimate you if the opportunity presented itself, now it's rare if they don't kill their own stuff and buff yours. But even when it's not that bad, it almost seems like they just play random stuff with no actual consideration to board states or lethal damage, and order is often wrong when it comes to really obvious synergies/combos. It's a real shame because heroic used to present a genuine challenge that felt like an accomplishment to overcome, but now it feels like if you lose you just had a bad run or got unlucky. It WAS supposed to be hard....it just isn't anymore. *EDIT:* Just played a game against the 6th or 7th boss in a run, which went face at almost every opportunity as they seem to these days, and on their final turn they hit my face with a minion instead of trading it into mine which left me enough damage to kill them as soon as my turn started. They also played minions after playing a spell which gave all their minions a deathrattle. On another turn, they had 6 minions and played a spell to summon 2 more (so it only summoned 1), and THEN traded another one of their minions into mine, rather than trading to make room first. There is effectively no challenge anymore....it's really sad, and honestly removes so much of the satisfaction of victory, which feels like an inevitability rather than a triumph.

They probably broke thanks to new key words and card interactions, as well as updates just screwing them up, as I said no one really seems to care about them, as not many players care to play Adventures, maybe when an Adventure was released there was some hype, so naturally it needed to be updated and kept bug free, but once the hype dies down, so dies the Adventure.
I genuinely thought the AI was just borked cause they don't know how to respond to the newer cards but ,yeah, the AI across the board feels noticeably worse/more forgiving
@@cacahca56 That theory just falls completely apart when you look at how the final boss killed itself. Both Deathwing and Blessed Champion are Classic cards while Potion of Heroism is a Kobolds & Catacombs card, there's literally no reason why the AI should even consider that play.

To be honest, the fact that they _still_ charge real cash for a faulty product like this is shameful, and should be illegal. They don't want to fix it because it's old content, but they're still charging for it? Fuck that.

Voxy, I'd love to see you build Rarran a commander deck and get him on one of the commander youtube channels :-) Preferably with both of you in the episode. Or a two-headed giant, he might need a few pointers...

I wonder WHY the AI became so bad. It's not like it's new cards throwing it off - that end combo was vanilla cards. Basic gameplay logic like buffing your own minions over enemy minions just isn't there half the time, which is confusing considering how neglected pve has been - how is it worse than the last time the mode got anything added.

Honestly, I thought I was going crazy but ,yeah, the AI for a lot of the Solo Adventures has been kind of whack. Missing obvious combos, destroying their own minions, buffing *yours* ; just generally making suboptimal plays, which completely negate the AI's advantages. Literally the only one this doesn't apply to is Galakrond and some of the newer Adventures
The dumbest thing about the Joybuzz bug is that there are like six different ways to fix it with just a single line of code. The fact that they haven't fixed it really makes me think less of Blizzard and the Hearthstone team as a whole, this is a paid game mode and it has a totally game breaking bug that even a high school student could fix.
I love the videos the the blizzard ai does make me said. I do remember it being better (not amazing and some terrible plays but still challenging). It’s funny when it’s a few times but when the ai just hands a win over it feels sad like when the puppet guy freezes the game. I love to see Voxy win or lose on her own and the blizzard ai kind of robs it. Not voxy fault and I’ll be here for the next for sure (hopefully the wised ball too)
The AI is so broken I can't recommend anyone buy the solo adventures with real money. Maybe if they've got piles of gold lying around (like I did), it's fine, but it's NOT worth $20 when there are so many indie titles out there that provide so much more value.
im sorry to say this but the AI of all the adventures are so scuffed nowadays is not even fun like, they kill own minions or buff yours, stuff like that, it happens becouse the game keeps adding more and more cards or modifie the ones that already existed and that mess up the AI
why is it so bad? I think if you play against the lich king in that expansion he like actually beats your ass pretty hard, and never misses lethal. But this ai just throws isn't this later than the lich king? I can't remember.
