I loved seeing you separate the stars and the nebula and process them apart and then combine them at the end. I'll definitely give that a try next time I shoot Orion.
That's a lovely widefield you've captured, Orion is a tricky one to get without blowing out the core, M45 looked great after the second process to. Looking forward to seeing your next project.
It's weird you can go back to the same data & do pretty much the same workflow & it'll always look different, I used to be way to aggressive stretching the image.
That's a great video there and superb images of the Orion Complex! I also use GIMP for my post processing once I've stacked my lights, darks, flats and bias frames in Deepskystacker. I was wondering in your processing how you can remove the stars from your image? Hope you can advise. Cheers
Another great video and image too! A quick question... How did you get the Starnet++ to "pop up" like that in a new window from GIMP? Through the time lapse, I was not able to work out how you did that!!
I finally installed the GUI for Starnet++ for Mac. It doesn't really open from Gimp, I just moved the window over the gimp window so you could see it in the timelapse.
I love your taste in music! Makes the video even more alive!!!

It's the only way to go
That gives tears to my eyes on how good it is 😍
Wow thanks 😊
Don’t forget m43 in there :D amazing photo, I like how you can see all the faint dust

Thanks as always, and thanks for the suggestion to re-edit. Sometimes I just get in a hurry.

I use starnet++version 2 do you use a Mac or windows? Also you have to save your stacked image as a 16 bit tiff
@@whyf16uy thanks for your reply. It's Windows I use 👍

@@whyf16uy thanks for the explanation!!
May I ask what that stuff on the scopes is?
Is it to prevent dew?
Thank you,
Fabrizio
Yes I cut up an old camping mat for a high tech dew shield. 😀
@@whyf16uy thanks
Great shot! What filter did you use?
The only one I own 😀 SVBony CLS ua-cam.com/video/TXsge49b__M/v-deo.html
@@whyf16uy I love your redo of Pleiades. I am struggling with it right now. I am in bortle 9. I need many more days to gather more data.
is it no problem letting your mount outside ?
I have it covered during the day. If it's going to rain I put it away
Did I hear correctly? Did you say: "I'll talk to you later and as always that will suck"?
You did not. Clouds suck.
