Heads up, everyone! The information is the video is slightly out-of-date! JP's 214K command grab (Embrace) has been patched to grab in EITHER direction on the last active frame. So it can now grab opponents from behind with no problem! However, AKI remains facing the same direction for the entire duration of Snake Step.
One more since the A.K.I. patch: ranking up doesn't display your new star. You do rank up internally (you can check on any other screen), but on the win scrren you rank up in, I guess it's bugged?
Nope dont fix it this is coming from a person that uses jp also i want capcom to nerf his od counter yeah make it that it only counters high attacks oh and one more buf jp needs if he whiffs a standing hp add 5 more frames of recovery hehe
as an AKI player and someone whose friend and lab partner plays JP: no its normal its not a bug capcom dont fix it

The same thing happens with drive impact too. Hitting someone with a cross up immediately breaks through drive impact armor
I mean your DI is gonna whiff anyways so I don't think its that big of a deal
