This is such a powerful song! I always get a little emotional when I sing it (as if the song isn't hard enough to sing when you're not tearing up and getting chills) because the message of empowerment and self-acceptance is so beautiful. My family doesn't know I'm bisexual so they don't know that the reason my voice shakes a little sometimes when I sing this is because the message resounds so strongly with me. And even though some people get mad/offended because that's not necessarily the context of the song, I think it's beautiful because anyone who's ever felt like an outcast for any reason can relate to this song
