I was staying at the chief of police's house in Turin, hopped in a cab that took me to the church where the Shroud is kept. It was not crowded. The cloth on Jesus face I believe was folded by Him. It signifies his return. At dinner if the napkin was laid across the plate and not folded it meant they were done. If it was folded it meant that they would return and were not done eating. Jesus showed us through this simple act that he is returning!! Anything is possible with God. I try not to limit Him because after all he is God the creator of all things on earth as in heaven✝️💜

The image according to scientists is a result of intense light that emanated from the body at the moment of Resurrection. So the image has all the torture signs endured by Christ during His passion and Crucifixion, but the expression on the face emanates peace of the victory over sin and death.
The Shroud is not a graven image made by human hands, in fact originally it was referred to as an image “ not made by human hands”. It is not something to be worshipped, this is a misunderstanding of its importance. I believe it is the original burial shroud and instructs in the terrible suffering our Lord went through for our sakes and probably also his resurrection. In my mind this is evidence pure and simple and complements faith. It leads you deeper into the truth, which the world so vehemently denies. Hey Paul... I am a National Laboratory Scientist with expertise in Chemistry and Physics. I spent 34 years in ionizing radiation detection developing techniques for medical ionizing radiation detection and I measured radiation fields in operating Nuclear Power reactors, and I measured nuclear weapons emissions for Nuclear Arms Control Treaty enforcement. My degrees are BS in Chemistry and BS in Physics, and I completed my PhD graduate Physics coursework at Purdue University. I have been intrigued with the Shroud of Turin since I saw the Images in my Catholic buddies summer school pamphlet in the 1970s. I started studying the results of the Scientific Studies authorized by the Catholic Church. The papers on the scientific evidence on what may have formed the intriguing images especially interested me, because I am an expert in all forms of ionizing radiation including charged particle energy deposition. The images were Scientifically determine NOT TO CONTAIN ANYTHING LIKE PIGMENTS or PAINTS and it was determined the darkened images in the linen fibers only penetrated a few hundred nanometers deep! The only way to darken linen fibers to that shallow depth is to use energetic charged particles. Energetic charged particles can only be created by a particle accelerator if the Shroud was made by the hands of man as some claim. Particle accelerators didn't emerge till the 1970s. The Shroud can be traced back to the pate 1300s or early 1400s!! The other intriguing aspects of the Shroud is the weave is very characteristic of 2000 year old wealthy Jewish people. There is pollen impeded in the linen that is from the Jerusalem region. At the feet of the Shroud is a very unique travertine aragonite mineral that can only be found at the Jerusalem gate that lead to the Hill of Golgatha where Christ was crucified. Jesus had the mineral dust particles on his feet because he walked carrying his cross. I do indeed thing this is the real deal. Faith should not depend on the Shroud, but it's a unique calling card of the Crucifixion IMHO....

On February 22, 2012, I wrote in my journal: "As I was praying this morning, I asked the Lord to let me experience his passion (meaning the passion he went through on the day he was crucified). I was expecting to feel pain in my hands and feet from the nails. But as soon as I prayed that, the presence of the Lord came upon my entire body like holy electricity. It came gently but very strong and it remained upon me. Simultaneous with this, while my eyes remained closed, I saw the face of Jesus during His passion, and it looked like the shroud of Turin image. I did not conjure up this image or this feeling. The image and the presence remained until there was a disturbance in the other room from the children." In fact, in my journal entry, I actually pasted an photo image of the shroud of Turin to illustrate what I saw, which looked just like that.
This is the most astonishing, fascinating mystery of or ages. We are looking at the image of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us all. Everything happens for a reason and that's why you were involved in all this for all those years and now for a time like this.

You cannot convince people that it is real and then they go back to the carbon dating . I get so tired of explaining to people that it was because of the wear and tear on the shroud that in Medieval times They added a strip to the cloth and you cannot tell that it is there. I had visited the Shroud Center in Fountain Valley. On the solid picture- you can see 11 place settings on the border of this incredible shroud. The negative picture doesn’t show them. I am wondering if anyone has tested them.
It is true about this sort of weaving repair. My mother is 86 years old and lived in a 3rd world country. Her father was a tailor and made suits and repaired them. Her job was to fix cigarettes burns on the suits. She had to weave the area using the same thread as the suit and it had to be invisible as if there were no cigarette burns. She told me it was a skill that was in demand when she was young, and in a third worl country it was important since people were not very wealthy.

The Catholic church happens to be in possession of the shroud. The Catholic church itself is an apostacy on steroids. When the Shroud image is put through a 3D image enhancer, it forms a perfect 3D image. A 2D image would appear extremely distorted and no one even knew about 3D imaging until the 1600s, much less on how to create a 3D image on a 2D canvas, shroud.

The question skeptics have to answer is how to make such so fine image on a material so crude with the techniques know to people at that time? In short, the burden of proof is on the skeptics.

The book of the of shroud of turin was in paper book in 1976 I was waiting for my first surgery I read and saw the picture of my Lord and had confirmed peace.all the people who try to least of face is Jesus but it God left that a hand print of Son of God. The best piece to be tested is the burnt holes for carbon 14 testing this will give the accurate date of the cloth . The carbon 14 forty years ago could of been corrupted no one knew which part of the shroud that was tested. The years gone by and cross contamination this can be given wrong dates, I say another test is needed but done properly by using 6 different Universities.
The DNA is damaged on them, but the blood on the shroud, sudarium-and incidentally all of the existing Eucharistic miracles-are all type AB. The blood on the Ark (not sure what you're referring to) would be animal blood though.
I am amazed this video seems to have been shown on CBN. My entire 74 years every Protestant I knew, and I havw known many, rejected things like the Shroud. I should also add I became a Catholic in my 20s back in 1970, in, of all states, Mississippi (4% Catholic).

From what I understand from historical Jewish burial is that the body was wrapped in strips of fabric and bound up , the neck is left exposed to check progress of decomposition and the head is bound separately ( though there was no need to check for decomposition with Christ as he rose on the third day.) The face was covered with a napkin which Simon Peter found neatly folded by itself, this too was custom to fold your napkin at a meal to signify you will return . I don't believe that this shroud is what covered Christ. NZ

John 11:44 and John 20:7 state that His face was wrapped with a SEPERATE face cloth, and when removed, was placed apart from the shroud. Therefore apparently was not noticed or picked up with the shroud. So whose face is that on the shroud?

Bottom line is if the image is light sourced Christians have all the evidence they need to believe in eternal life. And all the evidence points to the Shroud image as impossible except as light generated.
The title says the Shroud has the blood of Jesus Christ in it. Is that an absolute truth or an assumption? Who knows, who REALLY knows what Jesus blood is in its composition? Really....... knows? Has any living person today got a clue as to perfect knowledge of one drop of Jesus blood.... one speck of Jesus blood. That there is blood on this shroud may be indisputable, but you compare blood with blood, not with some other material like handmade cloth. The blood of a person is God made. The cloth a person wore is man made. Just because their is an image burnt, infused onto this cloth does NOT automatically mean that that image is ACTUALLY AND ABSOLUTELY the "spitting image" of Jesus Christ. It is one thing to believe this to be the case, but it is another to KNOW by observation. NOBODY actually KNOWS what Jesus looked like. And it is not important what He looked like. What is important is do we KNOW Jesus in spirit and Truth, that He was the eternal Word of God and with God and was God, who manifested Himself in human flesh, lived a sinless life in the power of the Holy Spirit, laid His life down for sinners to be redeemed back to the Father, died, was buried and on the third day rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, sent the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit to be with and in every believer until Jesus comes again. The shroud is a shroud. We don't need it to believe in Jesus Christ. We don't need it to prove His death and burial. I am bold enough to say that there is no natural way to PROVE the blood stain on this man made cloth is literally the blood of Jesus Christ. It is an interesting find but it is not fundamental to any requirement of God upon sinners to repent, or saints to be faithful to Jesus. Where is the actual sample if Jesus blood that can be used as the standard to analyse the blood sample on the cloth? Where..........?
It would take much more faith to believe this is *not* the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth. It is proof of the resurrection, and the hope of our own if we believe in Him.
I believe the energy that 'burned ' the image onto the cloth is the same energy that 'sparks' at the moment of conception when a new life is formed in the womb! All Life created and given by God, Himself! God brought Jesus back to Life, and God gives Life to newly conceived babies!
In one corner of Shroud is the date it was issued on a government issue. In Jerusalem. A Lady who knew about this practice of issuing these shrouds at this time in history, Took pictures of this Stamped image. No one had noticed it before.
I can ( in theory) accept that it is a real shroud with real blood, that it was once laid over and under a tortured crucifixion victim, even that it is from the time and place as in the gospels..But How do we get from there to identifying it as of Jesus Christ ?
A little side note about the Knights Templar. They were originally hired by the crown to escort pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem. As the name implies they were highly trained. I dare say among the best with sword and Javelin and the weapons of their time. So this worked very well for a while and then as things began to get worse. The Crusades progressed and everything things went awry and the pilgrims who were supposed to have been protected by the Knights were ending up getting robbed and killed along the way and you know people were just not showing up in Jerusalem who were expected.

The papers on the scientific evidence on what may have formed the intriguing images especially interested me, because I am an expert in all forms of ionizing radiation including charged particle energy deposition. The images were Scientifically determine NOT TO CONTAIN ANYTHING LIKE PIGMENTS or PAINTS and it was determined the darkened images in the linen fibers only penetrated a few hundred nanometers deep! The only way to darken linen fibers to that shallow depth is to use energetic charged particles. Energetic charged particles can only be created by a particle accelerator if the Shroud was made by the hands of man as some claim. Particle accelerators didn't emerge till the 1970s. The Shroud can be traced back to the pate 1300s or early 1400s!! The other intriguing aspects of the Shroud is the weave is very characteristic of 2000 year old wealthy Jewish people. There is pollen impeded in the linen that is from the Jerusalem region. At the feet of the Shroud is a very unique travertine aragonite mineral that can only be found at the Jerusalem gate that lead to the Hill of Golgatha where Christ was crucified. Jesus had the mineral dust particles on his feet because he walked carrying his cross.
I do indeed thing this is the real deal. Faith should not depend on the Shroud, but it's a unique calling card of the Crucifixion IMHO....

Simultaneous with this, while my eyes remained closed, I saw the face of Jesus during His passion, and it looked like the shroud of Turin image. I did not conjure up this image or this feeling. The image and the presence remained until there was a disturbance in the other room from the children." In fact, in my journal entry, I actually pasted an photo image of the shroud of Turin to illustrate what I saw, which looked just like that.

I get so tired of explaining to people that it was because of the wear and tear on the shroud that in Medieval times They added a strip to the cloth and you cannot tell that it is there. I had visited the Shroud Center in Fountain Valley. On the solid picture- you can see 11 place settings on the border of this incredible shroud. The negative picture doesn’t show them. I am wondering if anyone has tested them.
It is true about this sort of weaving repair. My mother is 86 years old and lived in a 3rd world country. Her father was a tailor and made suits and repaired them. Her job was to fix cigarettes burns on the suits. She had to weave the area using the same thread as the suit and it had to be invisible as if there were no cigarette burns. She told me it was a skill that was in demand when she was young, and in a third worl country it was important since people were not very wealthy.

In fact there is quite a bit of evidence that points to the reality being that this is "expertly forged". While all of the funded researchers avoid this, and put 100% into their conclusion that its Jesus in the image. I find that quite terrifying that so many people would fully believe this is Truth with all of their Faith... when that Faith need only be applied where it belongs... not to raise conclusions that the Shroud is of Jesus. What difference does that object make to your soul? What if it was someone's image done from a mock crucifixion...? Hypothetically if that were true, the situation would be much different, and would it would be best to take a different look at many things.

When the Shroud image is put through a 3D image enhancer, it forms a perfect 3D image. A 2D image would appear extremely distorted and no one even knew about 3D imaging until the 1600s, much less on how to create a 3D image on a 2D canvas, shroud.

The first rude cameras were available in Medieval times, but not until the 19th century did people figure out how to make a permeant impression on materials. The question skeptics have to answer is how to make such so fine image on a material so crude with the techniques know to people at that time? In short, the burden of proof is on the skeptics.

...the linen burial cloth of Jesus is described in all 4 canonical Gospels; the apocryphal Gospels of Peter and Nicodemus...as well as "the lost" Gospel to the Hebrews...which in part reads as follows..

...so apparently something about the burial cloth was seen from the beginning as a sort of proof of the Resurrection, that even the enemies of Christ could not deny...

Something is very... very... fishy about this. The book of the of shroud of turin was in paper book in 1976 I was waiting for my first surgery I read and saw the picture of my Lord and had confirmed peace.all the people who try to least of face is Jesus but it God left that a hand print of Son of God. The best piece to be tested is the burnt holes for carbon 14 testing this will give the accurate date of the cloth . The carbon 14 forty years ago could of been corrupted no one knew which part of the shroud that was tested. The years gone by and cross contamination this can be given wrong dates, I say another test is needed but done properly by using 6 different Universities.

Can you compare the DNA from the shroud and on the face cloth and the blood Ron Wyatt found on the Ark of the Covenant and see if it all matches?
The DNA is damaged on them, but the blood on the shroud, sudarium-and incidentally all of the existing Eucharistic miracles-are all type AB. The blood on the Ark (not sure what you're referring to) would be animal blood though.
Ron didn't get his blood from the A.O.C. He got it from the crack in the rock above the A.O.C.
I am amazed this video seems to have been shown on CBN. My entire 74 years every Protestant I knew, and I havw known many, rejected things like the Shroud. I should also add I became a Catholic in my 20s back in 1970, in, of all states, Mississippi (4% Catholic).

From what I understand from historical Jewish burial is that the body was wrapped in strips of fabric and bound up , the neck is left exposed to check progress of decomposition and the head is bound separately ( though there was no need to check for decomposition with Christ as he rose on the third day.)
The face was covered with a napkin which Simon Peter found neatly folded by itself, this too was custom to fold your napkin at a meal to signify you will return . I don't believe that this shroud is what covered Christ. NZ

John 11:44 and John 20:7 state that His face was wrapped with a SEPERATE face cloth, and when removed, was placed apart from the shroud. Therefore apparently was not noticed or picked up with the shroud. So whose face is that on the shroud?

The DNAs data would have such as ethnicity and I bet new mysteries. The Shroud was made in India and was in Jerusalem. This is from DNA testing on pollen, seeds and fabric testing. If it has the DNA of an Indian, for example, it would make it highly unlikely it was from a Jew from Nazareth. It wouldn't be "God's" DNA. The Bible states Jesus was born a man, conceived by the Holy Spirit. It would have Mary's DNA.
Plus, it would debunk the maligning and insulting of Mary by those who look to discredit the Shrouds authenticity.

That there is blood on this shroud may be indisputable, but you compare blood with blood, not with some other material like handmade cloth.
The blood of a person is God made.
The cloth a person wore is man made.
Just because their is an image burnt, infused onto this cloth does NOT automatically mean that that image is ACTUALLY AND ABSOLUTELY the "spitting image" of Jesus Christ.
It is one thing to believe this to be the case, but it is another to KNOW by observation.
NOBODY actually KNOWS what Jesus looked like. And it is not important what He looked like. What is important is do we KNOW Jesus in spirit and Truth, that He was the eternal Word of God and with God and was God, who manifested Himself in human flesh, lived a sinless life in the power of the Holy Spirit, laid His life down for sinners to be redeemed back to the Father, died, was buried and on the third day rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven, sent the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit to be with and in every believer until Jesus comes again.
The shroud is a shroud. We don't need it to believe in Jesus Christ.

I am bold enough to say that there is no natural way to PROVE the blood stain on this man made cloth is literally the blood of Jesus Christ.

That's why I have never gone to the British Museum, the shroud of Turin does not fit in with their ideology or the ideology of truth.
It would take much more faith to believe this is *not* the burial cloth of Jesus of Nazareth. It is proof of the resurrection, and the hope of our own if we believe in Him.

A little side note about the Knights Templar. They were originally hired by the crown to escort pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem. As the name implies they were highly trained. I dare say among the best with sword and Javelin and the weapons of their time. So this worked very well for a while and then as things began to get worse. The Crusades progressed and everything things went awry and the pilgrims who were supposed to have been protected by the Knights were ending up getting robbed and killed along the way and you know people were just not showing up in Jerusalem who were expected.
Think about it….the most WONDERFUL thing that has ever happened in our World was the resurrection of Our Lord so of course when He rose it left the imprint of God Almighty 🙏🙏
