I know ur comment is 7 years old but I was just thinking this the other day! His shots and fills and dragging and pulling are so much apart of the composition, hope he got a writing credit aha
It was great that Our Lady Peace got to perform at Woodstock. The only bad thing is that this was the West Stage and the West stage wasn't the main stage. The main stage was the East. But anyways great. Mike Turner voice is amazing at the end.
This is one of the few woodstock 99 videos where i can say i was actually there! I didnt get to woodstock until the last day on sunday! But it was amazing concert...
I remember hearing this live version in my brother's car when I was younger. Watching it now, just seeing him stop the song, run his fingers through his hair, almost like he's taking the moment in, then the crowd starts singing, gives me chills down my spine
I've seen them do this song many times even recently and I can say he does pull off the falsetto live. there are however certain songs he doesn't sing as full out anymore because he used to push his voice too much, which can damage it. every once in awhile though during one of the older songs he'll pull out a scream or something and it sounds great.
@5tateOfEmergency ..Amazing they are! I saw them here in Rome NY, they were at the west stage. The only time I left the East stage, were to see Our Lady Peace, seen them 8 times at least? There from my city, Toronto! This song Rocks & They Rock!
ive read a lot of people think that our lady peace went down hill when bob rocks came in the picture and that he comes close to ruins any band he comes in contact with....I know I seen olp 10 years ago with olp and they rocked back then, but something had changed them now
This band is absolutely sublime; Burn Burn is their only bad record, and even that has a couple good songs. One of the most underrated rock bands out there.
@BodomU the look on rains face is amazing during that...i rele would love to know wat hes thinkin....i would b thinkin holy FUCK this is a decent crowd :)
@colourfulbiscuits unfortunately he does not seem to be able to do this song anymore. His falsetto is just not as good anymore and his upper octave is near non existent anymore
OKAY this was a great band, great song, and he sounds great live....so anyone complaining CALM DOWN, and enjoy, simple as that
They sound great, the drummer is absolutely amazing.
yus 🤟
The drummer of this band is way under rated..

Really unconventional way of playing, especially for a "pop" drummer. You don't hear many drummers on the radio who can get away with this style.

I would prefer that they had used a keyboard for that part, just like on the recording.
The sound of the drum kit is amazing... The snare is like butter.

Seeing this 10 years later ahah you must've felt so good!
I remember being there. This was the highlight of my day. The place was trashed so bad when they came on.
just one for the ages! remarkable.
You can really notice the difference in his singing here from his present voice.

@xblast196 That's Raine Maida...?
@rs3nik Jamie Edwards - virtually their 5th band member back then
This band is absolutely sublime; Burn Burn is their only bad record, and even that has a couple good songs. One of the most underrated rock bands out there.
anybody can give me a link to a video of him performing this song recently? can he still pull off the song? cause this is amazing
@BodomU the look on rains face is amazing during that...i rele would love to know wat hes thinkin....i would b thinkin holy FUCK this is a decent crowd :)
Better live it seems I can understand better great song
@joshhinc They played in Brampton?
I love how there were so many Canadian flags. F YEAH!
Maybe because Our Lady Peace is from Canada not because everyone in the crowd was thinking about you.
zero dislikes :)
Replacing the keyboard part at the end with a vocal is not a good idea.
wow how come every frontman is hot this guy is hot usually i dont see the musicians first bfore i hear their music
I always loved Mike Turner’s guitar playing in this band. Was disappointed when they parted ways.
Yup.
Brasil porra , BR huehuehue

Small circle pits, thats pretty funny!

I'm the blue-shirted Medical guy running left to right @ 1:25 to 1:27 lol
Really? I came here to say the opposite.. I was surprised how well he sings live...
Sorry? I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. Did I actually offend you?
1 dislike....nice try bieber :P
Wow I'm so disappointed... he's a terrible singer live =(
