Barry at 8?!?!!?!?!!?!!?!?!?!
W
lmao this list is bs gale sayers shouldn't even be on this list oj simpson is not top 5 jim brown is a product of his time so he doesn't deserve the number 1 spot and barry and earl are both top 5 runningbacks
How can you be 2 all-time in yard per game and be 8 th on a list.
mritizwatitiz OJ is top 5 your obviously a kid 😂
when u watch oj simpson play u can see he's not as great as ladainian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson, walter payton, earl Campbell, or eric dickerson
Barry Sanders at 8?? List is a joke.
W
CARDINAL_RED 21 the real problem is bo
CARDINAL_RED 21 it's because he didn't play long
Robert feost bo didn't even have a 1000 yard season
Legendary But OJ at #3 only played 1 more season than him
Barry Sanders 8?????!!!!
Barry at 8 throw the whole list away
They need to revise this list after these comments clearly lol
It's an opinion
@@justawhiteguywitharocketla590 pure bias I agree.
totally agree
Absolutely Agree, Barry is debatable at 1 or 2 and NOT 8, there is one person to debate and that is Jim Brown..PERIOD..As time goes by the next 25 to 50 years, he will be listed as #1 or 2, take your pick, 5 yards a carry for 10 years, INSANE when he had no team in front of him.
Barry sanders should be wayyyyyy higher than 8, he was the only good thing on those lions so defenses knew he was getting the ball, and he STILL won games for the lions!
Conn Man that's actually not true. The offensive line for barry was actually better than people believe and they had a decent wide receiver and their defense wasn't terrible. They could just never bring it together.
Herman Moore is better than a "decent wide receiver" He was nearly unstoppable before he got injured.
GoPatriots#barrythegoat#tomthegoat#kobethegoat #100 no it wasn't look it up. He had pro-bowl offensive lineman blocking for him.
Ghostwolf34 I was lowballing him
Just judging by the amount of people that liked comments here I'm guessing most people don't actually know football history and just watch highlights and look at stat sheets. I bet ya'll didn't even know that the lions made it to the NFC championship game in 1991. I don't care who you are, no one player can beat a team. It takes a team to make it that far. I can't believe i'm saying this but people are starting to actually overrated Barry.
This is a crappy list
The Epic Memester agreed, Barry shouldn't be #8
W
Neither Barry nor Emmitt should be as low as they are.
So true! Does having the most rushing yards of all time in a single career even matter? Emmitt should be much higher.
ZAPP Spinklea Yards aren't everything. Breaking Nfl records count to.
OJ #3
11 seasons
5 pro bowls, 5 all pros, 4x rush leader, 2x rush td leader, 1x off player of the year, 1 MVP, 4.7 YPC, 83.2 YPG
Barry #8
10 seasons
10 pro bowls, 10 all pros, 4x rush leader, 1x rush td leader, 2x off player of the year, 1 MVP, 5.0 YPC, 99.8 YPG.
WTH
post peel ll
Well put..
post peel oj did have a 2000 yard season in 14 games
post peel you’re comparing players from different eras. It’s just two different times of football
Lmsoooo facts
When I seen Barry at 8 I shouldve just stopped watching.
Disgraceful list. I'm a huge LT fan but Barry at 8? Don't be stupid.
W
Joshua Heath LT is the fastest player to get to 10,000 and 15,000 scrimmage yards, he is also the fastest to 100 and 150 TDs. LT turned one of the worst teams in the NFL to a playoff contending team if it weren't for lack of team success and injury he might of gotten to a SB. Barry on the other hand has only ever rushed for 100 yards in 1 of 6 playoff games.
Samuel Robert LT also had Antonio Gates and Lorenzo Neal. Even Vincent Jackson for a while. The Chargers certainly had weapons and imo should have done more. Barry's o line was pathetic and he turned water into wine time and time again. I respect the statistical points you made in support of LT, but from watching them both play for their respective teams i could never put Barry as low as 8. Based on stats Marshall Faulk should be very high on this list too but hes strangely omitted.
Joshua Heath Faulk played with too many HOFers to count, Manning, Warner, Pace, Bruce, Holt, Marvin, Wayne, etc. Yes, they should a done more but if you are a SD Chargers fan you would know the BS thst happened in 06 vs. The Pats. and that LT got injured during the post-season. Barry isn't the type of runner you would want on your team, he constantly places your team in bad field position and his production goes way down in the playoffs
Joshua Heath Barry had Lomas Brown and Kevin Glover blocking for him, not a bad line a very good one
TBH Barry and Emmitt should be higher
Fierce Arceus yes yes very much so
Fierce Arceus W
Fierce Arceus yes for Barry but for Emit LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Thomas Schwegler dude emmitt leads in rushing yards and tuch downs
Pazowow !! 4 words for you Hall of Fame linemen
“I always thought it was kinda girlish for one guy to tackle me” - what an amazing quote from Earl Campbell
In college Earl was used on Texas goal line DEFENSE too! Don't know of any other back you can say that about!
Can't wait to see your other lists. Michael Jordan will be #8. Wayne Gretzky #8. Usain Bolt #8. Worlds most powerful militaries USA #8. Highest mountains Everest #8.
But sanders isn’t number 1, 2 or 3 max
Stopped watching after seeing Sanders at #8. Gil Brandt is clearly attempting to troll us.
RIGHT!!!
Kevin Remer right bro 🤦🏽♂️
Me to
It's a opinion
Bro, I did the same thing. This is awful.
Emmiit #10
Barry #8
This list is such a fail LMAO.
MikePDaTruth ikr
Emmitt Smith had good lineman
INeedModsToWin so did plenty of other running backs. Barry had 3 all pro lineman in his career. Laziest excuse ever look up his highlights
Luke16510 ok and who do you think people know more about Nate Newton and Larry Allen or the lions o lineman. Larry Allen is the top 5 best offense lineman of all time.
Luke16510 but all Dallas players have good lines you two. Zeke and Dak did. Then you lose 1 5 star best in the league top 10 all time offensive tackle and get exposed
If this list was based on raw talent and ability, Barry Sanders would be number 1. He defied physics, he was insane to watch.
It’s Walter Payton though.
i guess walter payton didnt exist in your world
Raw talent would put Bo Jackson at number 1 followed by Sweetness
Sees Barry Sanders at No.8: laughs hysterically: reads some comments; laughs some more; dislikes vid, then just like a commentator on one of Barry's big runs - "goodnight..."
most rushing yards in NFL history
most rushing tds in NFL history
10th best
ok
Ian Kendrick frrrrrrrrr
Emmitt gets no respect because of his oline and long ass career to implode those numbers.
Lane Johnson That o line was full of late round picks and cast offs.
Dylan Smith you forgot hall of famers buddy
Lane Johnson You ever think maybe he helped them become hof'ers? I'm a cowboys fan, you don't need to inform me on my teams history
I get all teared up watching LT highlights. Pure beauty in motion.
Loved watching LT, arguably the most effective RB to ever play. Gale Sayers glided through defenses, Barry bobbed and weaved with huge jukes, and LT somehow managed to be both at the same time. Harsh, athletic cuts that somehow looked as smooth as Gale prancing through the defense.
Bo Jackson, even though his career was cut short, one of the greatest.
Raw power and unparalleled athleticism
Never had a 1000 yard season
@@glebhed9231hell… he never even finished a whole season, and never had more than 5 TDs in a season. Checklist of skills, yes. Arguably the most skilled and athletic rusher ever… maybe. “Great”… no…
Barry at 8 is more criminal than OJ😂
Walter should be #1 but i ain't mad cuz as soon as I saw Barry at 8 i realized the whole list is completely stupid. Nfl trying to trigger people
the second i saw emmit smith at 10 i was upset. then i saw barry sanders at 8 and i disliked immediately.
Muhammed Aly same
This list is HORRIFIC indeed
This a terrible list those are top 5 backs
The fact that Jim Brown has those numbers when the NFL has 12 and 14 game seasons and retired before he was 30 is just insane. Not to mention he was playing lacrosse at the highest level too.
It helps when you’re the same size as the defensive linemen
Jim brown wasn't human. Far ahead of his time.
Then again he was an extremely athletic dude on a field with a bunch of white dudes
Retiring before the age of thirty helps his ypg and ypc numbers, it doesn’t hurt them. Also playing fewer games per year helps those numbers immensely. So not sure what you are talking about.
Barry Sanders is the best of all time foh, idc what anyone says
In my opinion, Emmitt is better than Barry, but they should be at least top 5
Cringy Gamer emmit had a o line barry didntbut ig thats my opinion too
Ur pro pic is MJ and u say Barry? That don’t make no sense
Branson 3rd bro bro
@@cringygamer7697 Lol..your about the only person I've ever heard say that.
Im glad they showed some respect to OJ Simpson it's a shame that people overlook his amazing talent b/c of what happened after his career

Odell Beckham Jr. #Odeezy #13Hunnit #BreakinRecords yass
Hey I've subed to you OBJ
Aint he have tha most yards per game in a season?
Come on Barry was literally the most skilled running back of all time and how can you discredit Emmitt when he has the most rushing yards of all time?
Emmitt also had one of the best olines of all time and played for a long time, it’s like putting Larry fit over moss owens or Megatron just cuz he had more yards
Thank you for listening Barry Sanders at 8. You save me 4 minutes of my life since I stopped watching right then and there
🤣🤣🤣🤣
ok i had to check if i was the only one literally offended
Same here. I immediately cut to the comments
Yeah, I'm sure there are 1000's of comments talking about barry at number 8 and emmit at 10 lol.
Emit Smith most In running Tds and yards and is just number 10. BRUH.
Je did have the greatest offensive line of alltime
TENNESSEE sports emmit also played alot longer than most of the backs on the list
TENNESSEE sports he was overrated he had a great team
Tommy Kerekes You can't be serious?? The Super Bowl team was all but dismantled after the 95 season yet Emmitt had over 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the next 7 years! If anyone on this list is overrated it's Gale Sayers and Jim Brown.
Uknow Itaintright your point is invalidated as soon as you said Jim Brown is overrated smh
Bandwagon Cowboy fans be like "where is Zeke and who is emmitt smith and this tony guy?"
the bandwagoners aren't that stupid
Dallas Cowboys it's a joke bud I'm a loyal cowboy fans
Anoxi Zynjo if u also remember sanders and marion barber ur loyal
Anoxi Zynjo "whos Jim Brown? How df a Browns player make this list???? And where's Zeke!??!!!!"
Anoxi Zynjo ik who emmit and tony is fun fact about emmit is they called the td when they were close emmit zone and fun fact about tony he had a 99 yard run against the vikings
Where is AP on this list🤔
Facts
Adrian Peterson is the best running back ever
Have u seen Jim brown
Peterson? Lol Barry, Brown, Emmitt, LT, Payton, Dickerson, OJ, Sayers, Campbell and Marcus Allen are all better than AP
Thank you!!!
Barry at 8 ....... 😂😂😂😂.....😒 that's funny
How is Barry Sanders #8 he should be #1
Kenkobra63 you are crazy
Okay Mr No it all
But where his super bowl ring tho
Patrick Wumbo lol I was waiting for someone to bring up that dumb logic. So Brandon Jacobs is better than Barry? Hell, by your logic Julian Edelman is better than Moss and TO. Foh!
Jim brown is better, but other than that yeah
Dickerson still holds the All Time Rookie Rushing Record, The All Time Playoff Game Rushing Record, The All Time Single Season Rushing Record, and The Fastest to 10,000 yards at 91 games than any RB in NFL history. Eric Dickerson is The Greatest running back through 10,000 yards in NFL history period
Sanders and Smith not even in the top 5???
Well this is dumb.
@Trump One so the all time leader in rushing is not even the cowboys best running back in their franchise history?? U must be smoking sum 😭😭💀
Emmitt at 10 is an automatic L
Sean King Most people wouldn't even put him on their top ten list.
Jimmy Googer I wouldn't put him
Too high
*leads NFL in rushing yards* is put in 10 LLLL
Glaze Edward the fact that he leads in career rushing yards and he isn't higher than ten is so disrespectful.
Where is Adrian Peterson.
I need an explanation
Lmao
All Alone you need a beating
All Alone ap ain't on here because everyone on here is better..
Ducky Quaky Quak Earl Campbell and Tony Dorsett are NOT better than Ap
shortstackJMD96 Born early enough to see Ap get MVP, go to 7 pro bowls, rush for 1,000+ 7 years behind a putrid o line and no qb, and go 1st team all pro 4 times. He's better than Dorsett and Campbell and will surpass The likes of Lt and Sayers if he can get one more good year in
1. Barry
2. Emmit
3. Eric Dickerson
4. Jim brown
5. Bo Jackson
Don’t know ab this top 5 😔
Barry at 8?!??
He’s Number 1 people!!!!
matthewrush4114 nah he not 1 he 3 bro
Bo is
Naw they got the top 2 right
He’s 2nd to Jim brown
Lmao madden kids
Barry at #8 is an absolute joke. He's easily in the top 3. I'd say he was even better than Jim Brown. Brown played against high school kids.
teenar1507 Dude, no they weren't. And linebackers were like 190-210 pounds back then. Ray Lewis would've looked like a DT on the field with those guys. Players weren't nearly as big or athletic as they are now.
exactly bro
Nathan McDonald Thank You! They were all white and Brown was a Fullback
Brown wasn't playing against any "high school kids", he was playing against pro football players. Because the size level was different (not anywhere near as dramatic as you made it sound), doesn't mean the skill level or toughness was. In fact, Brown played in a far more difficult era for offensive players....as defenders could still clothesline and other things back in the 50s and early 60s when he played. I agree that Barry at #8 is ridiculous though
Please do some detailed research because the average linebacker in the 50s was about 220 and the average D-linemen was around 240. The average D-lineman back then would be an average linebacker today (in weight at least). Corners were MUCH smaller then as well and safeties were also smaller. Not only that, they were not nearly as athletic or fast as the players today. They just weren't. I really wish they had the NFL Combine back then just so you could easily see what I'm talking about.
How dare you guys putting Berry Sanders at 8!
Gains by any means necessary how dare u misspell "barry"
I can't critique the old dudes. I wasn't there to see them. They probably deserve these high rankings. As for my lifetime, Barry Sanders is easily my #1 pick. Solid career and crazy highlight reel.
Speaking of Running Backs's why was Jordan Howard not in the top 100's list?
Cause top 100 is a popularity contest just like the pro bowl so I wouldn't worry about it
GoPatriots#barrythegoat#tomthegoat#kobethegoat #100 he was in the pro bowl
exactt
I think Howard is overrated tbh. I don't think he'll be all that next season
You no smart
Emmit Smith should be higher
Tyler G W
Emmit Smith should be number 1. He has the most career rushing yards and rushing td's.
Fredrick Douglas of course you'll have the most if you play for 14 seasons and have a great offensive line. Smith is not great more like above average.
Fredrick Douglas Because of his offensive line
It is very impressive to stay 14 seasons in the nfl as a rb that's impressive it's self
Really no Bo Jackson or Marcus Allen?
Reflex bo still should’ve made 10
Kodak White u can’t consider Bo a top ten running back of all time when he only played 2 seasons, he was a freak of an athlete but he didn’t play long enough
Kodak White either you play too much Madden, or ... I’m not sure look at the stats I don’t know how you think he’s #10
HandSanitizer- okay stat rat
Kodak White stats don’t lie

9. C.Martin
8. Dorsett
7. Dickerson
6. Tomlinson
5. A.Peterson
4. J.Brown
3. E.Smith
2. B.Sanders
1. W.Payton
Barry is my #1
Storm Veilleux Well, you're stupid
Samuel Robert thank you for that well thought out counter. I appreciate the time you took to explain to why why I'm wrong. I bet you impress everyone with your great analyses on sports and the like.
@@samuelrobert4083 damn😂
MAIRSHULL FAULK?!!!
Tim Mason Ladanian Tomilison overrated ass that's who.
Marshall Faulk over LaDainian. If I had a choice of which to have, I'd take the Marshall over LaDanian.
dlogan1616 FACTS I agree with you 100%.
You guys are haters.. LT was a monster..
Rick Sanchez; I don’t think we’re being haters. I think Tomlinson was better than Dorset but Marshall Faulk was better. I hope this list isn’t saying Ladainian was better than Emmitt, Barry, Campbell or Dickerson because he wasn’t. I watched Ladainian’s career especially during his prime and there’s a few other backs I’d take over him that weren’t on this list. Terrell Davis, Bo Jackson, Marcus Allen, Adrian Peterson and maybe just maybe... Beast Mode M. Lynch.
HOW IS BO JACKSON NOT ON THIS LIST?!?!
Barry sanders was the most TALENTED back of all time, period.
The greatest back ever is Walter Payton #34
talent wise it's eric dickerson. he was literally impossible to tackle at 6'3 and being that quick
Look I respect the fact that you put LT in the top 5 and finally somebody realized that OJ is top 3 but Barry Sanders at 8 I can't let you do that
Jim Brown is the best to me. He played in a different era than most of the greats like Sweetness and Barry. To me Jim is 3rd, and Walter and Barry are tied for 1st
Same list as me but I give the edge to Walter because he was a more complete player
@@nihilist2434 yeah Walter could do it all, Barry was more shifty and agile but Walter was it alll
Sacrilege having the all time rushing yards and rushing TD leader at the bottom of a top 10 list. Smith is a top 5 all time back. 3 super bowls, MVP. Yes he had a very good offensive line, but you can say the same thing for Zeke Elliot right now, but we all know how good Zeke really is no matter who is on the o line.
3 years later and Zeke isnt even a top 10 back in the league...crazy how fast RBs fall off a cliff
Not enough room in top 5 for emmitt
Emmitt Smith at #10 with 18,355 rush yds, most in NFL history, 164 rush tds, most in NFL history, 3 Super Bowls titles, 4 rushing titles, 8 time Pro Bowler, and 5 time All-Pro, MVP awards.... what else did he had to achieve to be at least in the first 5?
*Most rushing yards in history* "Yeah, 10 sounds good."
Barry Sanders no 8?? Wow!! i suppose he never did it in the post season but for sheer talent not sure there were 7 better RBs than him
AGREED!
I’d say 3
@@Adversity2175I'd say zero
Barry #8! NFL made my day :D
I thought Bo Jackson was gonna be in the list ngl
He didn’t accomplish much lol
Walter Payton is the greatest football player in nfl history. He could run catch block throw and hell he could probably play defensive back better than some players today
No Adrian Peterson??? wtf wrong wit y'all
The Goat he's nowhere near these guys, and he's a fumbling machine
Troy Naval he won MVP in a passing league and carried scrubs to the playoffs... played 1 season (Brett Fabre) with a good qb and had 1383 18tds and 436 rec yards
The Goat give him at least 4 more years then he'll probably break some of these guys records. 70s-90s Rb's are really vicious compare to the RB's nowadays
Troy Naval you don't know jackshit if you think AD is nowhere near these guys
Big Boi I'm just saying give him 2 to 3 years then he'll break some of these records and make it to top 10 or maybe even top 5 RB's of all time
Please do a Top 10 running backs of the 2000’s !!!!
1. Emmitt smith(stats dont lie
2. Jim brown(once again, stats dont lie)

THIS LIST IS TERRIBLE. I was so excited when I saw this video. Now I am sad.
Emmitt smith barely made the list?!?!this is a joke
Toni Frierson emmit Smith is overrated. His line created valleys for him to run through. Guys like OJ and Barry had terrible offensive lines.

Better than Faulk as a complete back ..
I would say just behind Payton as the most complete back. But still one of the most versatile of all-time
Just off the guys I watched, there's no way Tomlinson should be ahead of Emmitt or Barry.
@@qed8158 Walter Payton played 190 games. Emmitt broke Payton’s record in his 193rd game. That’s not exactly a huge difference.
Tomlinson scored 145 TDs in his 11-year career. Emmitt had 145 TDs in his first 11 seasons. He may have added onto his stats by playing longer at the end, but the dude put up huge numbers in his prime. Frank Gore played more games than Emmitt and he’s not the record holder.
LT was OP in Madden franchise back in the day lol he broke every tackle
Why is Barry so low he should be top 5
Maybe cuz he quit healthy without ever winning anything?
