Brian is so awesome...never disrepected Bon, had his own style but didn't take anything away from AC/DC's sound. He's just as good as Bon. Respect to both!
hardmetalrock84 Well said.
Yes agreed it takes a lot to fill a legend's shoes
and he had Bon’s seal of approval.
@@stupendous7848 Not directly for filling his shoes in the event of his death, though I'm sure he'd have approved if he knew it was coming. Bon did know of Brian because of his work in Geordie, though. He quite liked him and definitely respected him as a vocalist. I do think that as well as Bon's parents' approval is definitely good enough.
its rare when a band loses their singer finds a replacement and still ends up being amazing. Bon would be proud i think.
I love how Angus has fundamentally never changed, he's always been the same on stage and in interviews
Goes with AC/DC in general.
He never let the money and fame get to his head, which is why he’s one of the best
Aaaaahhhh...... some relaxing music to help me sleep.
Me to
This isn't exactly relaxing.
Kedar Kulkarni
But HELL IS A ROCKIN'!
Lullaby are useless BUT this is usefull.AC⚡️DC,keep rocking
listen to sum mushroomhead that shuld put u 2 sleep. jk xd
40 years later, Brian and Angus still rock!
Brian's early voice was fucking amazing. Certainly deteriorated with age, drinking and smoking, but he kicks arse for a 70-something year old
Please stop perpetuating this crap about drinking and smoking ruining voices. Some people sing even better with it.
@@C-mereSSBU That's like saying "I'd walk better with a bullet in my leg."
Unhealthy behaviour for your body obviously ruins it. Obviously.
@@lessan5125 I smoked a pack a day for 11 years and quit last year. I'm a college graduate with a Certificate of Achievement in Studio Musicianship, Pre-pandemic I led a Classic Rock cover band, and now I'm a Karaoke DJ. I drink whiskey and coke with no ice, and I sing 3 times a week in many different singing styles, and I encounter between 30-40 unique singers in a single night.
Please stop perpetuating misinformation about what causes a person to sing like the late Brian Johnson. It has more to do with touring while using bad singing techniques over time.
@@C-mereSSBU That's nonsense, is it disinformation to state the fact that alcohol and cigarettes ruins your body?
@@lessan5125 "Voices". Don't twist words to fit your narrative. We're talking about ruining voices specifically.
OMG - THIS IS ABSOLUTELY FRICKING AMAZING !!
I had no idea this footage existed.
I was at this show. It was my 3rd concert ever.
I was 11 yrs old and begged my Mom take me and she did.
Here's the crazy part... She went to Hecht's Department store (That's how you got concert tix back then - LoL).
Hours after tix went on sale and the gave us 10th Row seats.
It was out of control insane !
So much so that at 51yrs old I can literally remember every single thing about that night.
So when they cut to the crowd up front shots - Somewhere in that madness...
Is a 5ft tall heavy-set mother on defcon5 freak-Out and her 11yr old son having the time of his life.
Now - let's take it next level:
My very first concert was Kiss @ The Capitol Center (Kiss Alive 2 Tour - 1977)
I was in the "Kiss Army" fan club and they mailed a letter offering members tix.
My Mom thought Kiss was "Neat" - So she took me.
Total nose-Bleed seats - I was 7 who cares.
Anyways - here's the point: Can anyone guess who the opening band was ?
You guessed correct - AC/DC w/ Bon Scott.
I vividly remember on the drive home my Mom asks "So what do think - did you like it?'"
My response "Yeah - Kiss was pretty awesome, but I really really liked that band that played first"
Within a month I had every album and have been hooked on them to this day.
Side Note:
What's up with all this Bon -VS- Brian nonsense.
Seriously - it's just stupid and a total waste of energy.
There're 2 entirely different things.
Brian did nothing but show respect for Bons place in the bands history and did his songs justice every step of the way.
I think Bon would have been honored how the band carried on and made his songs live on for eternity.
This ^^
0:55 - This side angle of all 4 of them up front together is one of my favorite AC/DC things I've ever seen.
Very rare to see Angus at a microphone 🎤
100% agreed.
God I'll miss Malcolm's unique sound and his awsome playing style. Hell, we will all miss him in general :'(
Totally. It's killing me to think about it.
@ Rock and Roll will never die.
You simply can't fowl Angus Young.
@ Disagreed.
Malcolm's riffs are amazing and Easy to play.
circa 1980s Brian Johnson, you can argue he had one of the best rock and roll voices. His raspy tone, compliments the sick licks.
Austin Kirchner AMEN to that Brian was an awesome vocalist in that era
Possibly top 10. I'd rate Axl Rose (1985-93') over Brian though
оооооиииииЭлли забей выходи за меня я умру без Эээээлиосииииииии а они без меня
Brian from the 70's to 83' had the best voice in rock n roll history. You my friend are right.
Brian is an amazing vocalist - but for me only one man can sing this song and thats Bon Scott
They're so fresh in this. Brian's voice sounds like a beast waiting to come out of its cage
I've watched this live for at least 15 times. Definitely one of the best rock vocals I've ever heard. His second verse is incredible here.
DragoSpawn Brian's evolved from a young man voice to a demon voice, i love AC DC
@@the_nautillus9176 demon fire deep voice brian is the good stuff
The best version ever
So was his other gigs, pre Rock or Bust tour obviously.
This whole concert needs to be remastered....
Yes damn it!!!
Honestly, I love the raw grittiness of it. It seems like a lot of remasters make everything too smooth and clean. Far from a perfectly waxed sports car, this is a muscle car with some rust sticking out that might just give you tetanus!
In my opinion this is the performance that proved that Brian Johnson was good enough to be the new voice of AC/DC and I don't care what anyone says.
Gotta love Brian here. He brought a whole new edge and feel to this classic without taking away anything from it. Hard line to walk especially when its bons material. Job well done sir.
Is it just me or does anyone else absolutely LOVE the 70's and 80's long hairstyle for guys?
I really, really love how Brian dresses.
just you :)
I'm actually currently growing my hair out. Up to my shoulders currently
Haley Nest i actually have got long hair so we're out there somewhere ;)
Haley Nest what about thick sideburns and also how the women used to have their hair? Like TNT about to xplode
Brian`s voice is superb at this concert.
He sounds amazing here. His voice was so good on those first 2 tours. My favorite time of AC/DC (with Brian singing).
Malcolm is on fire in this song.
Got to love Brian Johnson. Mad respect for him.
this band puts any modern band to shame never changed there sound LEGENDS ACDC FOREVER
This is by far the best live version of this song, Malcolm sounds like a beast.
I love Brian's voice just as much as Bon's and his performance here is awesome. I think Brian will always be one of the top singers in rock and roll history IMO. As far the best live version of this song goes, I think the one performed live at the The Hippodrome in 1977 is just a little better. Bon Scott's performance while singing it is just awesome and so is the band. He was one hell of a live singer and performer and had a unique voice that many have tried to mimic over the years. The only problem with the '77 version is that for most of the song the back vocals don't seem to work until the end of the song. If you would like to watch it, I am going to attach the video for your viewing pleasure. Thanks for the comment and I hope you have a great day!!

Absolutely! Back when For Those About to Rock was released, I also bought the 12” single for Let’s Get it Up. Let’s Get it Up was on side A and side B was Back in Black (live) and T.N.T. (live)…. this exact version! Since then, I’ve heard many, many live versions of both songs (Brian singing TNT) and IMO these versions are the best! Those first 2 tours with Brian on vocals kicked ass! The sound was so powerful and tight. MTV was always playing the concert videos of For Those About to Rock and Put the Finger on You!
MAN I WISH I WAS ALIVE DURING THIS TIME PERIOD!
Me to I bet me and you are the same age haha it sucks that we where not alive during this time I still can remember listening to thunderstruck and rocking out in the back seat. Keep rocking man no matter you age.
Oh and like the tf2 pic
у меня бонусный мозг
Pugz you and me both
Me to brother 🤘🏻
Gotta hand to to Brian here man, he puts up one hell of an effort to sing every word. Hard working frontman.
Brian Johnson and the boys in their prime 🤘
I remember Brian said that this was the only song he felt uncomfortable performing because it was just too-Bon. It gave him goosebumps. The is not the song of a mortal man.
Brian Johnson sounds AWESOME here in 1981
Angus Young is in my opinion the best guitarist ever, Who else can go crazy like he does without getting a mistake?
I'm sure if people put years of practice into like he did, they would. But that was years ago, sadly few people get that crazy during concert.
i love that it's so awesome and you need so much skill for that
I don´t think it´s hard to do this without making a mistake... With a lot of practice of course. But I do think it´s hard to go crazy like him and develope such a unique character and personality. Angus is and will ever be the only one of his kind.
Aleksei Kosvlov Slash...
Shet madafaka
Even when he's not playing he's all over the place. Love you Angus!!!
I love Angus
i just love brian's voice!
Me too🙏🙏
He sounds soo great here
2:34 look at how godly they all look. Imagine seeing those four all upfront like that (no disrespect Phil) just kicking ass. A great image.
AC/DC will never die.
80's Brian looked like freaking Rocky Balboa
Agreed
You're damn right
@ Angus Young is the best guitarist ever.
@@michaelsitton6459 Angus Young is the best guitarist ever.
In terms of upper body, Brian looked best in 1985 (watch acdc in rio that year) and in 1996(watch for those about to rock live no bull) lower body he was solid until like 2001
Mal was the greatest rhythm guitarist ever. He actually understood the "rhythm" part so well. He was perfectly happy to stand in the background, but damn, he tied this band together.
Angus and Malcolm are awesome! They’re both cool, sweet, funny, talented and adorable! These two are the reason I play guitar myself!
High Energy, no wonder they play this all the time at any sports game. If this doesn't pump you up, I don't know what....
Brian was at his top in FTATR what a voice🙏🙏
what a band they carried each othet.
the guitar riffs of AC/DC are so fantastic!!
Well DUH they're the kings of rock!
Full concert on dvd please
ACDC Estate please remaster this concert for 4k UHD. It was gloriously shot on film. We will handsomely pay for the end product!
Love this version the best.
Rock in peace Malcom
We Salute you.
Man, Brian just sounds PHENOMENAL in the second verse. Wow
Every ac dc song comments section: My neighbours love this song, they threw a brick at my window so they can hear it better!
and brian-bon comparison
I wish they would release a live album from '81 or '82, the band probably never sounded better with Brian than during those years.
I think his voice actually got better over the years. Everyone their preferences i guess.
I like that his voice sounds so raw here. But I also like his voice early 90s. But yeah, everyone their preferences, and that's okay.
+StackProductionsBV I actually prefer Brian's voice at the 09 concert live at River Plate.
Exactly my thoughts
'85 would be pretty sick, too. Fly On The Wall had some pretty great tracks, and Brian did a great job on the tour, only made better by the fact that they tuned 1/8 step down (probably for the sheer difficulty of singing Shake Your Foundations).
This version of the song is like getting hit in the face by a groovy freight train of blues that just keeps on rolling
This is the heaviest version i've ever seen!
I wish more guitarists were like Angus
AC/DC The Gods of Rock n roll !!
I adore his voice from that tour.Sounds like sandpaper scraping against rusty metal and it makes it so much more badass!
They need an all time best of acdc album and tour!
and packed of kfs
GREATEST BAND ON THE PLANET!! ROCK ON!!
The energy in this song could light a fire
World's BEST rock'n roll Live-song!
This is on point , WE LOVE AC/DC !!!!
May be the GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER...
Brian's voice is so good in this one
Goodbye Malcolm, YOU were the 💥 “Dynamite” behind all these songs! RIP
So fuckin kickass!!! The thunder from down under. ⚡️😀🤘🎶
AC DC - TNT**** The holly grail....head banging jamming song..

Malcolms right hand should be one of the great wonders of the world. how anyone stays that rock solid, it baffles the mind.
Freaking awesome energy they never cease to amaze me
Angus is some kind of alien - the best kind . He couldn't sit still if you paid him double.
Saw them live with Malmsteen opening in the late 80's, Angus played more long solos than i've ever seen anyone play,
and of course he literally never stopped moving
Definitely well said! It’s amazing the 2nd best selling album of all time was??????? Back in Black!Behind Michael Jackson’s thriller. Crazy after losing your legendary front man Bon. Bon and Brian both legends!
Malcolm's guitar sounds incredible
crispy
I love this song! Go angus!
thank you dad for providing me with this musical taste
Great Music👍
Simple riff but classic dude!!
Good god, no one’s gonna match these guys. They’re just too superior to handle.
Wow Malcolm is swinging here..🍻🙏🇦🇺
the best performance
When I first heard TNT I didn't know what the singer looked like so I imagined him as a short man with curly hair down to his neck and always wore a cap. : P
You were close. But it was Bon who sung this one ;)
This riff is just amazing ....
My neighbors love this song, they threw a brick at my window so they can hear it better!
yes, i wanted to hear it better, so i threw that brick. so sorry. lol
What a story
lol
Never heard this one before....
Omg
It really does groove more at this tempo
Gretsch n Gibson SG in perfect synchronicity
THIS IS SO BLOODY AWESOME AAAHH!!
Brian is a legend period....
This ain’t no way shape or form disrespect to Bon Scott, but I think this sounds better than the original. The raw energy in this performance is just unreal!
And it's also faster, starting with 1980,they played faster,I think Brian Johnson wanted them to play faster, more raw and more aggresive.
I love this song in its original form with Bon Scott - for me it just doesn't sound right with Brian singing it
@@clairemiller4611 then maybe don't watch snowflake if you're gonna whine
ok bro ua-cam.com/video/APOykYZaxFY/v-deo.html
That could be because TNT always sounds better live. Heard Live at Donington in '91? The guitars sound like razorblades.
My favorite era of 'DC
I been to four of there concerts, the first was festival hall Brisbane in 1980 , and it was amazing
man I just love ac dc in the early 80s
Such hardcore. Much awesome. Very epic.
Amk
Angus is a man possesed with that guitar...i love it
I'm 66 from Maryland was at this concert lousy seats and my ears rang for 2 days the place was crazy energy nothing like RIVER PLATE THOUGH
Brian comes off stage covered in sweat, last show, back home in Australia...Bon's Mum sees him first, and says to him
"Our Bon would have been proud of you. "
True story.
Classic stuff, Angus is a legend! :-)
Is it me or does anyone else LOVE acdc
Ac ⚡ dc 🤘⭐👍 angus Young 👊👊🤘 fera demais 🎸👈🤘👏👍🇧🇷
one the all time favorite rock bands...... their music is still rockin!
I love this song. Thank you so much for posting this video.
My favorite era!
Jeez that guitar tone can cut through steel
Top shelf indeed.
Powerhouse performance.
All killa no filla.
RTFO 🤘⚡💜
You can tell Brian is still trying to find his groove and developing his AC/DC style.
This is a reason why is Brian in AC DC !
I love the song !
I was there!!! The Cap Centre was the best!!!
Angus is FUCKING AMAZING!
I was there. My 2nd concert ever. Spent the night in line for those tickets. I think it was Maggie Bell and the Midnight Flyers opened.
Awesome song! Love AC/DC.
