My Company is a supplier for Space X , and as a regional supplier i enjoy visiting the McGregor facility each Year. Their Test Launches are phenomenal for all to see from all around the area .

RFSA180 this is very true. I am a space weather nerd. When I go to bed at night my thoughts race: what happens when the poles have completed their reversal, what will Earth’s shields look like in the next 5 years, what happens to us when we exit the local cloud.. SpaceX gives me hope.
My wife and I live about 20 miles from this location in Texas. We can hear the rocket engines being tested quite often and occasionally they launch a rocket.The rumble is incredible and at times we can feel it in the floor of our home,the windows rattle and the sound of the rumbling, over powers the tv.The power of these rockets are incredible!!!!!

The school was so difficult the teaches let us come to class in our pajamas, because they knew we had likely spent most of the night doing homework or writing a paper. Same here, the workers are pushed so hard that it would be madness to enforce a dress code. Who wants to sleep on the factory floor in a suit?
My brother-in-law took me on a tour when I went to visit him and my sister a couple years ago. I don't think it's easily obvious just how huge this site is. It was fantastic. Also, their office building is hella nice. The whole site was. I was very impressed.

I use to work at c3 McGregor Tx and it was right next door to space x. We would hear and feel the epic vibrations coming from them rockets. It would literally shake the entire building.
