crocdoc2 Lmao I was just thinking before I clicked on this video, “This is a very American way to look at it.” I knew some one was gonna say something. (Especially because these gentlemen are from Florida. That’s about as far away as the US gets from Canada, not counting US territories.)
They got a lot wrong about Canada. 2017 and Canada didn't have Spotify? Cdn stores didn't have an online presence? WTF? The list of stuff he got wrong renders this list worthless.
Or someone (an American) who hasn't really done much research, just stating his opinions and misconceptions of Canadians (perhaps based on a few months of exposure to a Canadian student?).
I am Canadian, I own hand guns, shotguns, and high powered rifles. We cannot buy fully automatic firearms and neither can most Americans because they are to dam expensive!!!
Prepperjon... easy... the companies (in the US) that produce their product in 2litre bottles, its because they also export out of the US. As far as their exports go, the quantity staying within the US is the minority. So, the American companies choose to not have an “American size” gallon containers and an “everywhere else” litre containers, forcing Americans to get a taste of the rest of the worlds perspective... (Oddly, for me, I use both metric and imperial... I read a tape measure in feet and inches, Im 6’2”, I have no clue how many metres or centimetres or millimetres tall I am! In Canadian football, its measured in yards, not metres, just like NFL. )
I think that's just a Canadian trope that they think we live in igloos but I do agree. We are far more informed with the life of Americans than they are of us.
I’m American and never thought that. I’ve even been to Canada a few times. I went to Toronto just this past summer and, even though I never thought that, it’s definitely not true.
@@Faceless_XIV 6 years ago I had to have by pass surgery. I waited 10 days. Finally cost? 10 bucks for the phone. My wife nor myself do not play anything like 51% imcome tax. The wait now will be longer because of covid obviously. I don't mind paying for others to have health care because I'm not a selfish bastard. Go south and enjoy the tender mercies of private health care-unless of course your employer doesn't have it, or you have pre extisting conditions or your unemployed or self employed. And of course the deductibles -and even then you are not guaranteed to get timely treatment. We have private dental care-my care is rationed according to the whims of the company with a yearly limit on all procedures. One root canal uses the entire plan and I'm on the hook for the rest. I would hate to have my health care run like dental insurance. Maybe you do since you obviously think of nobody else but yourself. Canada is not a good fit for you. Go somewhere else where self centredness is admired-like Trumpland USA.
@Ankamtilnei Bekungbul well I certainly like Canada as country... Not a Canadian btw. FYI. And you are definitely a shithole of a person for talking like that about Muslims and gay people. 2019!!!!! Wake the fuck up from your clouds of hate. And change your fucking perspective about the world. Being a teenager I just want more people to be empathetic and caring and kind... So that I don't have to live in messed up world. Or have to clean up mess of people older than me.. so that my future kids would atlest have a better one. Before commenting something like that take in consideration that people get hurt by your remarks even if you are fucking nobody stranger. And they don't just have to be Muslims or Gay's.
As an American who has lived in Texas, but now lives in Alberta, I'm going to say that Alberta is kiiiinda like Texas with respect to the oil industry and "country cowboy" mentality. Quebec is also kinda like Texas because much like in Texas, québécois view their province more independently from the rest of Canada while proud Texans will tell you that Texas comes first before the rest of the US.
I don't know where or when he heard it, nor what rock he's been living under for a century, but it isn't uncommon to hear a Spotify ad while your watching a video on UA-cam....heck, I got a Spotify ad during this video!
@@jerrytheracecardriver1100 ... I'm pretty sure that's not happening anytime lol. Plus, gun control is needed for public safety. I personally am neutral when it comes to Trudeau, I don't disagree or agree with his way of running Canada. But still, storming the Parliament isn't going to happen anytime soon xD
We do but we can still own all kinds of rifles AND handguns legally. Now transport laws and being able to own restricted firearms in Canada is more strict, we can still buy and own legally some nice firearms.
Go deeper man. He covered that in the very first point. "Canadians tend to trust authority, Americans tend to be suspicious of it." Government being in control of health care and regulating firearms are manifestations of being suspicious of authority. Personality, and I say this as an American, I think they take it to a bit of a paranoid extreme, and support left of center policy, but this is the root of the difference.
That wasn't necessarily forgotten. health care and gun control are heavy leftist policies and I believe he did say that they lean farther to the the left. Also that they trust their government more, which is also a liberal thing as left wing typically desires more government control. In America, gun control would be a terrible thing, but in Canada the people are nicer and the only danger is polar bears, which I've heard guns don't work well on them
It's not that Americans only hate their government, they just tend to distrust governments in general. Even the founding fathers agreed that all government is inherently corrupt
Hot Cosby yeah, the power should be in the people, not a government. power goes to peoples heads and that's why there are so many corrupt people in them. if the people don't take control, we get things like "gun bans" and other things to control the freedom of the people. recently with what's going on in the government freedom has turned into an illusion. it's a hard thing to balance but governments and countries will end up collapsing on themselves due to power struggles.
Hot Cosby One of the reasons why many people distrust the government is that they don't really have say to what the government will do, the only choice they have really is to pick which the person could be hiding something, and the ones to stop them are the ones in goverment, so it does make sense.
as an american living in michigan, i have spent a lot of time in canada.i love it there! differences abound, but my favorite is how nicely i'm treated by virtually every person i meet. i can't wait til the covid is vanquished, so that i may visit again.also i believe america would not have it so good, without such an excellent neighbor to the north. peace!
Us Canadians love our USA brothers and sisters. Now I have to sit in my igloo and turn on the TV to watch hockey with a bottle of maple syrup before the polar bears steals it. :) haha

thetick64 What doe the Boston Tea Party have to do with this video ? And you're wrong it was in Boston Massachusetts in Dec. 16 of 1773 and it. Was about taxation without representation ! Three years later we were a free nation, President George Washington served his Presidency in Fort Valley Forge because the White House was not built yet ! And there was no such thing as Democrats or Republicans they were Federalists, religion Mason's ...anything you'd like to learn about lol just kidding...
On August 24, 1814, after defeating the Americans at the Battle of Bladensburg, a British force led by Major General Robert Ross burned down multiple buildings, including the White House (then called the Presidential Mansion), the Capitol building, as well as other facilities of the U.S. government.
well we don't have a messed up government which means it is less entertaining, we are into US politics because one it is like a comedy show and two we don't get harmed as much as the Americans do.
@@ArashK9 As an American, I can't argue with what you said. Down here everything has been politicized, at least in recent years. As a young child(71 now) the presidents I first remembered were named Eisenhower and Kennedy, and things seemed to work much better. For example country was united on finding a polio vaccine, as opposed to politicizing it like were doing with COVID.
"Mayonnaise on everything.....Canadians, they live among us".....LOL, we can't joke all day until the sun goes down, but I couldn't think of better neighbors than the Canadians. We Americans benefit in so many ways from our Canadian brethren, probably more than they do from us. Most millennials probably couldn't tell you what NORAD is, or where most of the lumber to build American homes comes from. Canada bent over backwards on 911 to help get all our aircraft on the ground, and took care of our stranded citizens. The US-Canada border is only an imaginary line on the map the whole world should be jealous of.
I merely quoted a line from the movie "Canadian Bacon". You know full well I don't take those stereotypes seriously. Evidently you didn't read all of what I posted, which is pretty much an homage to our Canadian neighbors. For God's sake lighten up.
ive said it before, ill say it again. we are family, and family does nothing but piss each other off most the time. don't mean we don't love each other, and always got each others backs!
In Canadian geography classes we have to know all.of Canada's provinces, territories and capitals plus we have to memorize all 50 American states in about a week. Half the people I talk to in the USA know like 3 Canadian cities, maybe
I once said I was from New Brunswick and an American (some random person I was talking with at Legoland, I’m going to assume that they were from Florida) went “Oh really? European countries are so cool!” I literally had a Maple leaf on my shirt. Like come on. I get if they don’t know NB, but saying it was a European country? Really?
No spotify? I've had it for free 3 yrs now as a perk on my mobile account. I live in British Columbia. Also nobody here ever brags about the cold. Rarely snows here. Doesn't rain for 4 months in the summer. Kinda like California. We like to rub it in on the rest of the country. And alot of the US too. Also on a side note, I have never heard any Canadian ever say "aboot". Only americans attempting to mock us say that.
Southern Albertan here, yeah. I don't have a clue why "Aboot" even came to be a stereotype for all of Canada, but I've only heard it in a small amount of places in the east.
Not politically but if you speak of nationalists then they can be pretty similar. On a side note, I'm from Quebec and when I went to Toronto I was surprised how almost everything was translated in French as well. I remember my way back to home to Quebec: First, tons of English & French billboards. Second, as we cross the border, signs in French *exclusively*. They even renamed the previously named "Arrêts-stops" into a monolingual name. I feel pretty ashamed of my province, seeing how every others around us seem to go so far to accommodate us and we respond by blatantly spitting on them.
Toukan Yeah ...weirdly Texas is VERRY Liberal in Austin, Dallas (where I live), and a couple other places. We don't have southern accents and we are just people.......When my school did a "class" vote for president Hillary 79% Trump 21%
The liberals and conservatives take turns fucking everything up. I don't like either party. They're both corrupt to the core. Having lived in Ontario my entire life, I've seen the consistent bad sides of both parties and have always expressed resentment towards our supposed leadership. I went and saw Trudeau a few months ago and it never failed to amaze me how he and other Canadian politicians do everything they can to not answer the question at hand. I don't like my government. Fuck Trudeau, fuck Harper, fuck Wynne, fuck all of them!
I thought it was only us westerners in Canada who hated Trudeau. I don't HATE him, but I think he's a bit of a goof. But it's nice to know that we're not sticks in the mud. I was very surprised when the guy in the video said Quebec was the Texas of Canada....I'm pretty sure it's Alberta with our oil, big truck douchebags, country lifestyle, two big cities, etc....
I watched this because I thought it might be a light, funny video....but it swung from inaccurate and slight offensive sweeping assumptions (didn't do much fact checking and some of these facts about Canada even contradict each other) to weird but accurate facts like taking our shoes off in the house...I think it's more weather-related and not wanting to drag mud and snow puddles through the house...lol Please do more research before stating "facts"
As a lifelong Minnesotan, I was thinking to myself how many of these things seem familiar to me and how we really weren't that different from Canadians. Once you got to #7 it started to make a bit more sense.
I’ve been to Canada a couple of times , I live in ny state and have been to Montreal and Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. I have to admit, I never really thought too much about Canada, I’ve been hearing about it more lately and learning that it is more than what I always viewed it to be.
Canada is very rich. Me as a person that lives in US, the majority of the people think that everything outside the country is poor and rough. There are cities in Canada and from around the world that are richer, cleaner and safer, than american cities.
Not a Cat maple syrup is like honey Its 100 percent natural You make it by taking maple water from a tree and boiling it. So that the water evaporates and only the maple. Syrup as we know it is left Oh and to collect is from a tree you take a little metal ramps and stick it in the trunck and a bucket under and this for a mounth during spring cause its the only time its produced So thats why its expensive its produced in only like Quebec Ontario we have few population and its produced only 1 mounth a year and us canadians take all of it as soon as we can
In Canada, most people vote for an individual, not a party. Even when a politician "crosses the floor" (aka, joins a different political party) most of their supporters go with them. Also, if any politian does something we don't agree with, we call them out on it, even if we voted for them. We never excuse bad behavior just because we identify with a certain politial party. Obviously, there have always been exceptions to that rule. Worryingly, there are a lot more exceptions these days.
MOST Canadians vote on policy NOT individuals OR Party. Only idiots would keep voting party, and only idiots would vote for a turncoat. What country do YOU live in?
That's not entirely true. How about Toronto's crazy-ass mayor, Bob Ford? No matter how stupid, criminal or just outrageous the things he did or said were, his constituency never wavered for a moment in their support. Very much like Trump's, it seems. I could mention other politicians at the provincial and federal level who do some pretty awful junk, but retain their loyal followers, no matter how horribly they behave. I won't bother naming them, however; Canadians already know who they are and Americans wouldn't recognize them anyway.
Wait what's that flag with leaf only flag I know is 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 jk I didn't forget about Canada 😂
one funny thing is, I'm Canadian and I watched the us election and know there government and talk about it a lot, but no one ever talks about Canadian government that I can tell.
You didn't explain "Melting Pot" properly. A melting pot is when other cultures come into a nation, to be mostly assimilated into the culture, while adding some of their own culture. The "Mosaic" which isn't actually a very common term, is a much more shared principle. When someone who is Chinese comes to Canada, they aren't expected to live the 'American Dream', they are more than welcome to live by their culture, without conforming to the average Canadian.
Some of us immigrants just become average Canadians. I was born in Poland, came to Canada when I was six. I still speak Polish but otherwise I am not much different from someone of my generation who was born here.
@@bldyvalentine5001 We also have many different languages in Canada. The difference is that in Canada, both English and French are our official languages, so both are mandatory at school.
list25 I just watched a similar video made by a Canadian who said the opposite of a lot of this. Those weren't sources, it just repeated what was said in the video.
As far as I know, hugs and cartons are more common in the western provinces, where I've never seen bagged milk, but in the eastern provinces, they have it the majority of the time.
Lived in Canada my entire life and have never seen "milk in a bag". We do have Pandora and Spotify, and we can order products online from Canadian and international companies. Some websites just do not ship to Canada, which is absolutely frustrating. And in western Canada, it's common for people to take their shoes off inside. Leaving them on would be weird/rude in fact
Milk came in bags when I lived in Montreal in the 60s. It was a PIA. In Alberta where I now live it comes in cartons, glass bottle, and plastic containers.
As an outsider I can point out that Canadians actually realise there is other countries out there... Americans seem to believe that they are the only country on Earth.
Christopher Greig no we acknowledge that one aisian country that makes our stuff the friendly people who give us oil the other aisian country that wants to nuke us and that lage communist country that hates us. (note this is a joke, I'm not trying to be racist it's a joke so any social justice warrior who attacks me, get a sense of humor that isn't laughing at the people you screwed over by acting offended)
Actually, president Trump, Canada would have most of the rest of the world come to its assistance if the U.S. were stupid enough to try such a thing. You sound about as delusional as the real thing is.
Seona Elizabeth Coster you can't go anywhere in America anymore without the subject of our President coming up. Like him or hate him that one doesn't make any sense.
Yes some of us do. But it's not like we have a choice. Living in Canada for almost 13 years I've learned to embrace it and learn to love it. You just have to try it sometime plus you can't say you have never been tobogganing and hated it...lol😄
I know, some people might like the cold (for some dumb reason) but have you ever heard a sane Canadian say “Haha you stupid american. It was -35 today. Beat that”
As a Canadian, I have to disagree with some of what was said. firstly, in this video, many generalizations were made, with both countries, that are not entirely true. Canada is a mosaic of cultures, but they aren't separated, they are mixed in many different ways, but are also celebrated as individual. also, individuality is highly celebrated, but there is simply not as much of an emphasis on it. I do not know what its like in america, but i'm sure many of the same things can be said. One final thing, canadians don't talk about american politics as a pastime, we use it as the but of our jokes. ; ) :) ;)
oh, and also, Canadians don't bottle up our emotions. not really ever. yet another large scale generalization that applies only to a select few. P.S. we have spotify
my house is made of petrified maple syrup and I have a beaver mote surrounding my property to ward off hungry polar bears and wolverines. My fridge is an igloo and I ride my moose to work Monday to Friday. I just recently got into a "sorry" fight with a stranger where we stood toe to toe for several days until he finally submitted and unfortunately died from dehydration. I went to his funeral and apologized to everyone several times but I still feel like it wasn't enough. My wardrobe consists of red and black plaid flannel shirts and denim jackets. I only eat poutine and pemale bacon. I drink strong beer and I AM CANADIAN
し夜上 し夜上 hey neighbour... im just outside if Brampton in little ole Acton :) And yes we have spotify .. i find most of what he is saying is bullshit. Hes certainly showing some ignorance.
That's not entirely true. I live in Edmonton Alberta. We do have out fair share of fights on buses. Not often but when we do, they can be brutal. On December 9th 2009 a Edmonton Transit bus driver was brutally assaulted to the point his left eye was completely damage. The bus driver was dragged out of his seat and out of the bus and then kicked and punch repeatedly by the assailant. The assailant pleaded guilty and was sentenced to jail for the rest of his life as a dangerous offender.
Yes Canada is safer then the United States however brutal crime can happen here. The 2017 Edmonton attack was a stabbingand vehicle-ramming attack that occurred in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on September 30, 2017. Edmonton police constable Mike Chernyk was allegedly hit and stabbed by 30-year-old Abdulahi Sharif, who then struck four pedestrians with a rental truck during a police chase. All four injured survived and were hospitalized. The incident is currently being investigated as a terrorist attack, with police confirming the presence of an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant flag in the van that rammed the police officer. Then the Assailant got out of the van and repeatedly stabbed the Police Officer.
It depends on where you go, just like in the US. You won't find many nice people in New York, but you might find nice people in the upper Michigan peninsula. In Canada it's more spread out, but yeah generally they are more friendly, but we still love our American brothers!
It's like the biggest and most peaceful brothership ever. If the US gets attacked, its allies, including Canada will fight back, and if anybody lays a finger on Canada, the US (and allies) will cream the attackers.
Levi Godwin and this Canadian has much love and respect for my American brothers and sisters.... I grew up on the Saskatchewan/North Dakota border and actually married a woman from Alabama... She's a crazy bitch and we're divorced now, but I still love y'all. :)
I am Australian and yeah. There is a huge difference between Canada and the US. Canada to us is our equal. We have a lot in common, the US on the other hand is almost our opposite. Canada is a cold Australia while the US is what we don't want to become. Here are some facts on Canada that everyone in Australia knows. They have the same free healthcare as Australia but it isn't as good as the NHS in the UK, Canada is in the Commonwealth of nations, Canadian French has a different accent to French, Quebec was made because of a peace treaty between France and the UK (saying they are Canada's Texas is very incorrect, it's more like it's the UK's Ireland) and Canada has open borders to refugee's because it is vastly underpopulated. Oh, and long live the Queen of Canada. (say hi to Quebec for me)
Sure we have Spotify, Netflix and other media services , but they are govern to limiting what we get, again understand what he is saying. we starting to sound like American media , just nitpicking at sound bit rather than the whole meaning. Canada seem to censor too much. would you prefer going to watch only Canadian movies and shows, or listening to only Canadian entertainers. The world is exploreable , Censorship is limitation beyond our borders. that is how the North Korean live, not by freedom of choice but by government censorship
Ok this video kind of pissed me off. First of all we do NOT think of America all the time in fact the first time I though about America in a while was watching this video. Second: AMERICANS DONT HAVE MILK IN BAGS?? WHAT. Third: yes we have Spotify in fact it’s probably used more than Apple Music here. Fourth is this guy American because everything mentioned in this video is biased towards America. Fifth: Canada knows they have problems and attempts to fix them. We don’t pretend that there’s nothing wrong with our country. We know we have problems but work to improve them.
+ C & K Slimes Why are you so wound up? This video was made in fun. The word funny is in the heading. Yes, the guy is American. You should have caught that in his statements. I don't agree with a number of things he said about Canadians but I like his humour. Notice how I spelled humour? I'm Canadian but I identify more with Americans. In many respects Canadians are wimps.
Hey Crack up Vlogs we can see you're an illiterate troll who flunked spelling and reading comprehension in your kindergarten high school. It's so easy for you to hide behind your computer hurling vile insults at me or anyone else. It seems you can't use civilized language to critique or criticise. Allow me to give you back what you dished out to me. You're an immature and abusive little cretin and I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you. You're not worth a second of my time.
Americans can buy alcohol in grocery stores. Imagine going into Overwaitea and leaving with a sixer of Wildcat lol. I agree, of course, the guy is going to be biased. . . he's never even been to Canada. I will say you're wrong about Canadians not being pre-occupied thinking about America though. Maybe its different in other provinces, but in BC, America was always in the news and it's all people were talking about. Very nice people, but there was always a Canadian putting America down within earshot. On this point, Canadians are kind of pricks, but I guess it's understandable. Canadians are more proud of not being Ameican than actually being Canadian. In Vancouver, there was not a lot of love lost for anyone with French ancestry. One of the guys I worked with said to me (I'm paraphrasing. . .) "My daughter is dating this French guy, but he's actually really nice." lol I thought that was pretty funny. Overall, Canadians are more informed and definitely better educated than Americans. I had a great time there.
The video mentions Canada has 5 political parties, but doesn't mention that Canadians understand that democracy doesn't work well with only 2 parties and is far more prone to corruption. It takes at least a third viable party to keep the other two honest.
While we technically have 5, we really only have 3. Liberals, Conservatives and the NDP are national parties that run candidates all over the country and all have provincial arms. All have either formed government nationally or provincially (both in the case of the L and the C), and all have been the official opposition. The Greens are a force to be reckoned with in BC but on the national stage they are a footnote at best (the best they've ever done is to get 1 elected MP per election). The BQ are not a national party (they only run candidates in Quebec), they've never been a serious threat to any government, and in the last election they managed to get just 10 seats; They're the party of die-hard separatists and those types get fewer and fewer every year. Until we get rid of first-past-the-post politics and move to proportional representation the Greens and the BQ don't matter much.
g00gle minus - I agree with every sentence except the last - they do matter. They function very well and serve a purpose without being viable contenders to win. I have voted Green and will do so again, but I don’t want them to run the country or the province! I just want them to have a few seats in Parliament so the environment issues have a voice. They also provide a good swing vote in the house. The official opposition is often too stubborn to provide bipartisan support so the small minority’s role can be both powerful and well grounded in morality. Three major parties and two or three small parties is an ideal combination. More than three contenders would make for too much change - and change can be expensive and more unstable.
Vince Friel tennis is most certainly a sport, it’s the 4th most viewed one actually, with over 1 billion people watching/playing it so you are most certainly incorrect
alexandre j seguin i know that there is french in other provinces, just like English in Quebec. But Quebec is very different than other place because of the cultural aspect and most of the quebecers are mad at the rest of Canada because of the school (history) who make English like the bad guys.
It's just that the Texas and Quebec is a good comparison because we are the province that want to separate the most from Canada. Just like Texas in the US (or California)
The way of life I think suits here in Alberta more with Texas. We love our barbecue and rodeos especially in Calgary, Alberta with their Calgary Stampede. However with the separation I understand. Personally I like all parts of Canada. I am from outside of Edmonton.

Hot Cosby do you thing then in canada we trust our government if yes your stupid nobody in the world trust government its a fucking fact
Corrupt government vs corrupt people. No wonder it's such a huge polarized debate.
Hot Cosby One of the reasons why many people distrust the government is that they don't really have say to what the government will do, the only choice they have really is to pick which the person could be hiding something, and the ones to stop them are the ones in goverment, so it does make sense.
Hot Cosby and they hate everyone in general and equally lol

In Canada, most people vote for an individual, not a party. Even when a politician "crosses the floor" (aka, joins a different political party) most of their supporters go with them.
Also, if any politian does something we don't agree with, we call them out on it, even if we voted for them. We never excuse bad behavior just because we identify with a certain politial party.

Thanks for the clarification Eamon!

that is a very annoying stereotype I am a American I can map most of Europe and Asia
Canada seems to be sitting on top of the USA
It means were on top.
Canada...America's hat!
Steve, we prefer to think of it as America. Canada's pants.
Luke Friendly not seems to be. It is
Actually, president Trump, Canada would have most of the rest of the world come to its assistance if the U.S. were stupid enough to try such a thing. You sound about as delusional as the real thing is.
Coming from a Canadian, it hurts knowing that a lot of these "facts" about Canada are wrong, even in 2017
"In American, talking about American politics is taboo; in Canada, it's a pastime."
Love it!
We still can't dodge politics. It's everywhere, and debates get heated.
Seona Elizabeth Coster you can't go anywhere in America anymore without the subject of our President coming up. Like him or hate him that one doesn't make any sense.
funny cus its true
Seona Elizabeth Coster At this point, I think it's an international pastime
Us people got to emet it there politics are really entertaining
Canada has Spotify
amanda.jenkins 1234 I have spotify...in America.
But Spotify over in America is more chill and has more features. The Spotify we have may be a different-with-less-features version.
i really really really doubt that
I am canadian I am very passive aggressive :p. and we don’t BRAG about the cold, we hate it.
Shelby Sigouin . I'm in Toronto, People have been freezing to death (literally)
Ariana Doesn’t have a life but we deal with it!...
Beat that”
Shelby Sigouin lack of cold? It was -45 in Calgary a few weeks ago
We do have Spotify and I’ve never heard a Canadian brag about how much it snows
You're right, we do apologize a lot...........Sorry about that.
Meanwhile in america, cocks shotgun.
Alucard Hellsing
America is more than that
As a Canadian, I have to disagree with some of what was said. firstly, in this video, many generalizations were made, with both countries, that are not entirely true.
As a Canadian I’m gonna have to say most of these are false about both
Yea
This is probably one of the better lists. He is accuruate on most items.
Roronoa Zoro as a Canadian, I agree.
Finally another Canadian in the comments!
Agree.
Canadian: sips maple syrup
Americans: sips cholesterol
Australians: sips veggiemite
This video is supposed to be fun, but.....most of these.... well... I’m gonna go ride my moose to school and eat maple syrup for lunch. Bye Felica
Pauletta Renkema in America we ride our brown and black bears to school with our coca cola.
Lol
Pauletta Renkema lol me too
@@Ethan-jv4bq I thought we ride our American eagals
😂😂😂😂😂
my house is made of petrified maple syrup and I have a beaver mote surrounding my property to ward off hungry polar bears and wolverines.
@Filius Filthiest I'm sorry I wasn't there to help you get through the funeral.
Filius Filthiest snacks include ketchup chips, all dressed chips, and coffee crisp
Guy died of dehydration, eh?
Sorry for your loss.
Funeral eh? Soory aboot your loss
Awww man sorry bro :(

Oh sorry aboot that
し夜上 し夜上 hey neighbour... im just outside if Brampton in little ole Acton :)
And yes we have spotify .. i find most of what he is saying is bullshit. Hes certainly showing some ignorance.
Canada, you wont see fights on buses or trains here!! lol
Extremely false. I've witnessed tons of fights on the bus and in the subway. Not proud of that, but... well, Toronto.
Hey ballads 1!
Your hockey players are your best fighters.
Also notice that Canadians are more friendly
You bet we are :)
To me it does not matter which nationality I can compare or contrast Americans. I even compare Americans to british and australians
Depends on where you're at in America. A lot of sourtherners can be really polite.
It depends on where you go, just like in the US. You won't find many nice people in New York, but you might find nice people in the upper Michigan peninsula. In Canada it's more spread out, but yeah generally they are more friendly, but we still love our American brothers!
Would you say that if you lived in Montreal
Wisconsin, U.S.A here! Head to a kwik trip anywhere in WI & you'll see milk in a bag! I grew up on it. I honestly thought everybody did.. !!?? 😆
I have no idea what you just said
@@giraffeboy2649 lol. Kwik Trip is a gas station over here you can go to & get bagged milk. 😊
I think about Canada all the time! I love Canada like a brother to our US!
It's like the biggest and most peaceful brothership ever. If the US gets attacked, its allies, including Canada will fight back, and if anybody lays a finger on Canada, the US (and allies) will cream the attackers.
PIE ww3 would start if Canada was attacked
Levi Godwin and this Canadian has much love and respect for my American brothers and sisters.... I grew up on the Saskatchewan/North Dakota border and actually married a woman from Alabama... She's a crazy bitch and we're divorced now, but I still love y'all. :)
I think about Canada all the time? Dude, you need to get a life!
You should just educate yourself on the culture and products we exchange with Canada. GG
I'm a proud Canadian!
These are INGREDIENTBLY true.
Oh and by the way... Milk in bags is the only way I've ever drank milk.
wtf is wrong with eleven i’m canadian and have spotify. both are available btw
(say hi to Quebec for me)
That's an interesting take. Thanks for sharing
It's only free when you don't pay taxes. Pay attention to government and economics class next time.
@eyeofjake.....as a Canadian speaking on behalf of this fine Australian gent I'd just like to say shut your God damn cake hole.
How about you come and make me there internet badass. Let me know when you are in town so I can laugh at your attempt.
I'm from Quebec and I love you for saying that!
We have Spotify in Canada as well
Sure we have Spotify, Netflix and other media services , but they are govern to limiting what we get, again understand what he is saying. we starting to sound like American media , just nitpicking at sound bit rather than the whole meaning. Canada seem to censor too much. would you prefer going to watch only Canadian movies and shows, or listening to only Canadian entertainers. The world is exploreable , Censorship is limitation beyond our borders. that is how the North Korean live, not by freedom of choice but by government censorship
‘sibling rivalry’ - matthew and alfred ;)
WHO PUTS MILK IN A BAG!! IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE!!
Only Ontario has milk in bags...

Yeah, we don’t put emphasis on sports.
We invent them for others to play. Ex. Baseball, basketball, ringette
Sarah Park lacrosse
Vince Friel yes it is. Look it up. It’s like hockey.
Jameson Dymond true
Vince Friel you’re so dumb
Vince Friel tennis is most certainly a sport, it’s the 4th most viewed one actually, with over 1 billion people watching/playing it so you are most certainly incorrect
Generally a not bad list. But you pulled #2 (haha) right out of your ass. Totally wrong.
Quebec is not Canadian Texas, we just don't have the same culture and language as the rest of the country, it's like catalogne in Spain
canadian texas is alberta lmao, dont know where he got quebec from...
Quebec is as nationalistic as texas, while Alberta is as oil-rich and conservative.
Actually, quebec is pretty much torn in two politically speaking.
alexandre j seguin i know that there is french in other provinces, just like English in Quebec. But Quebec is very different than other place because of the cultural aspect and most of the quebecers are mad at the rest of Canada because of the school (history) who make English like the bad guys.
alexandre j seguin “classic quebecer” as if it was common of quebecers to think this. Also, they never said such a thing.
Proud Minnesotan here. And we are basically South Canada.
Justin LeClair Actually some parts of Canada are more southern than Minnesota.
Between the UP northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, U can't get much colder in the US.. (Screw u Alaska)
Justin LeClair your fucking American and your staying American. not Canadian.
Justin LeClair The is no such thing as South Canada.
Jk I know there is such thing as south Canada
Bewm Fries we (minnesota) are like canadian becuase of are socialist health care (that was reduced after building the vikings a stadium)
He just compared Quebec with Texas, man who lied to you?
what do you mean lying?
Na, he only don't know shit about both and talk about them.
MatWells what do I mean🤔
It's just that the Texas and Quebec is a good comparison because we are the province that want to separate the most from Canada. Just like Texas in the US (or California)
The way of life I think suits here in Alberta more with Texas. We love our barbecue and rodeos especially in Calgary, Alberta with their Calgary Stampede.
However with the separation I understand. Personally I like all parts of Canada. I am from outside of Edmonton.
