Creative That's the biggest problem with Jurassic World. It's an action movie, and thus, almost inevitably, it relies on a long chain of stupid decisions. My big problem was the "This is happening with or without you" scene, before the raptor hunt. Without him? You're going to try and use the raptor pack, without the alpha's help? That's just straight up stupid. If Owen had just been like, "Um, without me, they'll just start eating your guys," what would the other guy have done? Hell, Owen could barely stop them from eating that scrawny, bony intern. They'd look at Vincent D'Onofrio like he was a three layer cake. The Bill Withers Jurassic World would be very, very safe for humans, and very, very unsafe for dinosaurs. They'd all have explosive collars, and I would NOT be shy about blowing their heads off if necessary. Hell, we can build a new Indominus Rex, we've already got the genes. BOOM. What? The raptors are turning on us? B-B-B-BOOM. Etc... My park would also make for a terrible summer action movie.

In the Junior Novelization of Jurassic World , it says that one point Claire goes barefoot while tracking the Indominus Rex with Owen Grady. But that also carries a higher risk of likely hurt, contracting a virus / parasite , or stepping in something bad.

Regardless, with shoes or without, nobody could outrun a dinosaur. She'd only have had a better chance of getting to safety in bare feet or sneakers.
To be fair, her outrunning a T-rex to begin with made no sense since we saw it keep up with a speeding jeep for some time in the first movie. Her doing so in heels just made a ridiculous scene laughably worse.

Technically there were 2 doors in her cage: one regular and one big and she blocked the normal door so the humans had to escape through the big one (in the actual movie)

Their "cousins" (other raptors closely related to Velociraptors) have been found fosilised with feathers. I think one of the better known ones is Sinoraptor? So, no, you can't 100% accurately potray a dinosaur, because it is impossible to know what kind of color they where, for example. But Velociraptor did have feathers and was smaller than what the Jurassic Park franchise shows us

#2 was in the movie. They were trying to run for the small door when the I-Rex cut them off. Big door is for if/when they need to transport the dino from the enclosure. Aw nuts.

It was planned to be a star attraction so it was built with the intention to have it transported somewhere. They were dumb and didn't know having it in there all its life would be a bad idea.
The Mysterious Soul maybe so they could transport the I Rex out of the habitat if they were doing internal work? Or maybe they could transport it to the lab?
One thing that gets commonly overlooked about this movie is that scene. They're in a garage for servicing those jeeps, surrounded by tools and spare parts, with a second jeep to cannibalize more parts from. That line about fixing their relative's classic car means that they could plausibly have enough experience with vehicle mechanics to replace more than just a battery.
Has anyone ever thought that all the failings of the Indominus enclosure (such as no moat, a Dino-sized door) could be due to Hoskins and/or Wu interfering with construction, therefore making it easier for the dinosaur to escape so they could run their field test?
The Pikachu Brothers Owen probably has ways of getting his raptors back there. They've probably done that hide and seek drill over and over again, and he has special commands and ways to get them to follow him back home

I mean, they were low heels. Not exactly hard to run in, even if they were stilettos. Not all stilettos are that flimsy. And plus, not all heels are hard to run/maneuver in. Also, it was pretty realistic, as the heels were only about 2 inches when they could have been 4 or more.
There's a huge misconception that all heels are impossible to walk/run in and that's just completely inaccurate. I actually own a pair of 4.5 inch stilettos that are a breeze to run in.

I highly doubt those two, of those two species (Raptors being pack animals and T-Rexes being very large carnivores, both would likely have a high level intelligence), are dumb enough to not have some appreciation for help in a fight. #2 was in the movie. They were trying to run for the small door when the I-Rex cut them off. Big door is for if/when they need to transport the dino from the enclosure. Aw nuts.
But there's really no reason for the I-Rex to ever be removed from the habitat.

It was planned to be a star attraction so it was built with the intention to have it transported somewhere. They were dumb and didn't know having it in there all its life would be a bad idea.

One thing that gets commonly overlooked about this movie is that scene. They're in a garage for servicing those jeeps, surrounded by tools and spare parts, with a second jeep to cannibalize more parts from. That line about fixing their relative's classic car means that they could plausibly have enough experience with vehicle mechanics to replace more than just a battery.

Has anyone ever thought that all the failings of the Indominus enclosure (such as no moat, a Dino-sized door) could be due to Hoskins and/or Wu interfering with construction, therefore making it easier for the dinosaur to escape so they could run their field test?

I mean, they were low heels. Not exactly hard to run in, even if they were stilettos. Not all stilettos are that flimsy. And plus, not all heels are hard to run/maneuver in. Also, it was pretty realistic, as the heels were only about 2 inches when they could have been 4 or more.
There's a huge misconception that all heels are impossible to walk/run in and that's just completely inaccurate. I actually own a pair of 4.5 inch stilettos that are a breeze to run in.

***** Well, Blue essentially saved Rexy's life and continued helping in the fight. I highly doubt those two, of those two species (Raptors being pack animals and T-Rexes being very large carnivores, both would likely have a high level intelligence), are dumb enough to not have some appreciation for help in a fight. Besides, even if she considered it, Rexy was way too tired and injured to waste energy on killing such a small and non-hostile animal. It's just common sense, really.

Honest Trailers has a video interviewing a Paleontologist and a Physicist on their opinions on the movie. Their thoughts is exactly how I feel.
