this is why tom cruise is such an inspiring person. he cares so much about our youth and is relentless on informing people of the truth. everyone should strive to be like him.
Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Home teaching is a program we have in the mormon church where priesthood members (the brothers in the church) visit member families and share spiritual lessons with them.
this is officially my favorite youtube video right now. I can't get enough of it. I've come back once a day for like a week straight. You should make a movie based on this called Mission Impossible: 100% Home Teaching.
My Little Pony is a brand of toy ponies marketed primarily to young girls and produced by the toy manufacturer Hasbro.[1] These ponies can be identified by their colorful bodies and manes, and typically a unique symbol or series of symbols on one or both sides of their haunches, the ponies are always named after the symbols on their haunches.
I'm glad Tom is coming back in the game after this interview his career went for a nose dive. His part in Tropic Thunder started his come back. He might still be crazy though...
how many of you agree --- I think the deeper meaning of the comedy in this spoof piece demonstrates how manically serious Tom Cruise takes himself. How much he needs balance in his life. Kind of like what Nibley used to say often: "If you take the gospel too seriously, then you tend not to take yourself, or others seriously --- conversely, if you take yourself too seriously then you don't take the gospel seriously." --- words to that effect. --- let us know camsawproductions?
You have to go to the hour-long weekly Priesthood meeting part of the Mormon Church service at least 50 times to really get why this is so freaking hilarious. Well done. Just classic.
hahahahahhahahHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH this is histerical!!!!!! I came into the video like... are we talking about the same home teaching???/ I guess we are!!
Funny how responses about scientology fit perfectly with with questions about mormonism. It's almost like scientology is to the 20th century, what LDS was to the 19th.
I'm assuming most people wouldn't know this is LDS based at first glimpse. Haha I bet a lot of people even thought that Home Teaching was a Scientology thing initially. But even me, being an ex-mormon, thought it was funny. Well done my friend. Thumbs up from me.
Its funny. Not even a mock I think. More funny to members cos what he's saying pretty much fits the bill for Home teaching...would be a fantastic attitude to take on for HT and VT. lol. Great humour and very clever :D.
@Sigridovski actually it just shows what a good member he could be if he would be a member of the church of jesus christ.. ;) hometeaching is just that the members are visiting each other to get to know each other better to understand more clearly the gospel and help if help is needed. its just for fun ;) dont take it sirius! he is cool in this one! ;) Peace bro!
Wow, all these negative comments are sad. I never thought I'd see a fellow LDS leave a negative comment, especially using the word "gay." To put it simply, I'm disappointed. I thought this video was hilarious. Keep up the good work.
i don't think a lot of people realize this is a joke, only funny to lds(mormons). i thought this was hilarious! obviously this isn't the real interview-this was from his scientology video from years ago. but putting the home teaching spin on it was a riot-thanks for the laugh! (and i'm a mormon, thats why i think its so dang funny)
@kalonzohart I have thought along these lines about celebs (tv/movie people, mainly) for awhile, but I've never really known quite how to put it into words. Well Done! and what business have they got telling me how we should do this or that in government;;;;;;they pretend all day being someone they aren't, in a fantasy world. when do they have time to learn the truth about the real world?
this is why tom cruise is such an inspiring person. he cares so much about our youth and is relentless on informing people of the truth. everyone should strive to be like him.
Hilarious. I wish I could figure out a way to show my EQ this during church
oh wow i've watched this like 10 times in a row now. It's too funny. Tom Cruise really takes home teaching seriously!
We watched this in Elders' Quorum a couple of weeks ago
man that must of been the funniest thing I've seen in a long time!! Holly smokes...can't stop laughing!!
We should show it at church! So funny. The interviewer is my favorite! It made my day. Thank you.
haha i love the interviewer's face when Tom starts talking about helping criminals and such 1:28 lol
Latter Day Saints (Mormons). Home teaching is a program we have in the mormon church where priesthood members (the brothers in the church) visit member families and share spiritual lessons with them.
All of this is pulled from the same interview with Tom Cruise - impressive and hilarious! I love the interviewer's matching turtleneck, too.
The best laughs are the ones about yourself!! What a funny little video! I sent it to all the Home Teachers I know and love!
this is officially my favorite youtube video right now. I can't get enough of it. I've come back once a day for like a week straight. You should make a movie based on this called Mission Impossible: 100% Home Teaching.
100% Percent. Is it possible ? ...
... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ...
I like the college humor version with Jerry O Connell
This is absolutely fabulous!!!

I'm glad Tom is coming back in the game after this interview his career went for a nose dive. His part in Tropic Thunder started his come back. He might still be crazy though...
This is AWESOME... Maverick himself endorsing home teaching!!!
I can't believe I haven't seen this before. Totally loved this! You should do one for VT!
I wish I had been home educated. I always hated schools. Elfi Jelinek says the same, and she did achieve something in her life.
how many of you agree ---

That guys is really nuts, never gonna see another of his movies.....
That made my day. Thanks!
By far Tom's best work.. ;)
That was silly and fun. I especially like his response to whether 100 % is possible at [1:08]. Gads.
Tom is the man! He can be my EQP or HPGL anyday!
HT will never be the same...

@BluesPurest
You mean the interviewer? Yes.
Awesome video, but, use a lav mic or boom mic to get better sound from the interviewer,, will improve the video by 100%
Good work Travi!
@candyshop2000 i think it's the soundtrack from mission impossible
I love my kids but I'd have to feed them to a bear after 5 minutes of home schooling.
100% Home Teaching in a student ward = Mission Impossible
This is great! Funny!
This is awesome..
greatest actor of our time
Wow, all these negative comments are sad. I never thought I'd see a fellow LDS leave a negative comment, especially using the word "gay." To put it simply, I'm disappointed. I thought this video was hilarious. Keep up the good work.
funniest part - "100% home teaching- possible?"

Can someone make one with Rosie O'donnell and visiting teaching?
100 % home teaching? I'll give it a try. Harder to get done during the summer.
This is superb!
@excelerater AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA THAT MADE MY DAY . THANK YOU . GOD BLESS.

he's a really good actor.....bc in his movies he seems more normal
Well done Sherlock!
It's not. you can tell by the quality of the clips between tom and the interviewer.
100% home teaching, hahahahahahah :D Hilarious!
@ThatOneSkinnyGuy No, it's just a clever bit of editing, that's all.
@kalonzohart I have thought along these lines about celebs (tv/movie people, mainly) for awhile, but I've never really known quite how to put it into words. Haha! AMAZING!
Brilliant! Research!
@zapper9595 My God.. really? It's from the Mission Impossible movies.

If Tom every see's this video he'd probably be pissed. :( But this is hilarious!!!!! :D
@Sigridovski Come on it's just in good fun. This is not to be taken so seriously.
How did I get here from Hunter S Thompson videos?
@JohnNewmun Well Said. *like*
No one can laugh like Tom Cruise...
@hyperteener Or live in a predominantly LDS area and are familiar with it. LOL!
@nightshadow73 Me Too!
