For me, the most memorable thing from the first game was Mama Rabbit hiding in the bathtub, and just being all out in the open. I laughed so hard the first time I saw that.
It’s also sweet that in the first game, it seemed like Mama struggled to make ends meet but still tries to provide for Junior, but Junior as an adult seems to be helping out financially, as she’s moved into a bigger apartment. She raised a good guy
@@loki4807oh these characters definitely have a Southerner vibe to them, especially with how thick the women are. I knew ladies like that and yes they were as sweet as Mama Rabbit.
I don't know why but the fact this family has gone through the same event multiple times and they decide to play along and teach their young how to comply instead of buying a gun or something is just so funny to me
It's funny cuz the concept is actually pretty terrifying. Imagine having to worry every night about this creature showing up and possibly stealing a family member and you only have 5 minutes to read some book, to find out where to hide. Then imagine how bad it would be when you open the book and find pages missing.

It was the big bouncy perky juicy puzzles that had me so invested in the first game. This one seemed a bit more simplistic in comparison, but still an enjoyable experience overall.

Mark just HAS to play Zed's other games. One has a woman dealing with Egyptian gods, two maids dealing with ghosts, two nurses dealing with a demon summoned by a petty rich guy and protect their patients. Amazing stuff.
In the normal ending, the food was left on the ground and the man left at 8:02. In the hard ending, the food was delivered by an actual man, and the man from the window left at 8:03. This means in the normal ending the man from the window caught the delivery guy on his way out.
But wait, I think that doesn't work. Shouldn't it be the other way around? The delivery guy arrives late enough for mama bunny to see him at the door after everything, and doesn't leave before we answer the door (assuming that as you said, in the version where he's missing, he's dead). So he should only be safe if the man from the window *already* left when he arrives, aka at 8:02, and he should be dead if the man took longer to leave (and so was still in when the food came), at 8:03.

Honestly I really love the casual representation of women with giant breasts. Like they don't acknowledge it or anything in the dialogue, it's just a part of her character design and nothing else. As a big titty lady I appreciate it. The looking down and all you see is boobs is really accurate
Yeah I love it a lot. Like I know it was probably for a joke maybe? But I feel also like it’s just a representation of a casual working family and how people just Look
Really, the only way it’s even acknowledged is the fact that she can’t hide in certain places, which can also just be the acknowledgment of the fact that she’s an adult and can’t hide where a child can. Very casual and very nice.
I’m really impressed that y’all managed to put the text in front of his facecam, I feel like that would have taken so much effort. Y’all are so talented, you make me so proud.
We moved to Davinci resolve and man is that program so much more powerful. It actually isn't too difficult to do, and I really like the aesthetic of it. Also Thank you.
I love how they're just like *Sigh* "He's back again" because it really makes me wonder how many times they've had to put up with this since the first time when Junior was a kid lmao
I like to think that the person has improved on the models tremendously. It makes me very happy to see that the mom is now a grandma, and now the son has a daughter.
I think the creators art style is endearing. even tho the attributes are large the story doesn't rlly play with that and its just her body type. reminds me of a sweet mother yk
i think the chunky body is actually a gameplay aspect. the dev probably went like "hmm i want to make one rabbit bigger so that you can't hide in small places, while being able to hide another in there"
I've seen the devs other games and this just seems to be their style for characters (as well as gameplay) I think what they do, while not particularly scary is really interesting and creative :)
Gotta love the editors* going the extra mile, and adding the text above Mark to make sure we can read it all. I'd guess he just found the font somewhere but it blends seamlessly.
They had to have encountered The Man more than twice off-camera because there is no way they can be desensitized with only 2 encounters Also, Markiplier wasn’t even scared of The Man in the first game. It’s the same reaction Mark had to FNAF UCN
I started laughing before I even clicked the video. I knew he was going to talk about that bunny with the big breasts. Markiplier did not disappoint. 😂
25:09 this character is actually from a seperate game made by the same developer. In that game he casted a demon on a small town hospital in order to save a few bucks (I'm not kidding) but in the true ending got mangled by the demon he summoned. There's more too it, I'd recommended playing the Vermander curse.
ikr?? i knew i wasen't the only one to notice. i love how small things like a few words not being hidden by marks camera makes the video seem more better
I think the best part of this game is the dialogue implying it's happened a lot more than just the one time before. It's not just "Hold on, this seems familiar..." it's "Ugh, this guy again." How many times has this man invaded their home that they would not only immediately understand what is happening but have a strategy in place?
I'm not going to lie, I really love the time and effort that the creator put into the character designs. Just so much detail and effort put into making sure they're really representative of all types, y'know?
I like games like this where the "collect-the-pages" aspect actually leads into something (figuring out where to actually hide) rather than being some pointless McGuffin. I wish more "Eight pages"-like horror games would take this aspect, where collecting the whatever was just an opening objective and the whatevers needed to be used later in the game to win.
One thing I wonder is if it's possible to trick the man by hiding Audrey with the blinds open, letting him see where you hid her, then close all the blinds and hide her somewhere else.
I'm interested in learning more about the Man from the Window. Sure, he's supposedly from the window, but where is he _really_ from? ;) Either way, some exposition would be nice, though I can also see the opposing argument in which giving the antagonist a backstory necessarily makes them less threatening.
Huge props to Lixian or whichever editor worked on this one to make sure some words weren't cut off from Mark's cam almost 20 minutes into the video. I see you 👑

@@benadrylgelllzzz5724 The creator of this game seems to have an affinity for big tiddy ladies, haha 😂
But it’s nice how casually this is treated
Really, the only way it’s even acknowledged is the fact that she can’t hide in certain places, which can also just be the acknowledgment of the fact that she’s an adult and can’t hide where a child can. Very casual and very nice.
ok
so uhhh do you have a tinder account or anything?... noooooo reason...

My guess is once every week lol
LMAO LIXIAN PUTTING THE WINDOWS THING ON THE TAKEOUT DUDE I'M CRYINGGGG
I like to think that the person has improved on the models tremendously.
It makes me very happy to see that the mom is now a grandma, and now the son has a daughter.

the fact that the family isn't terrified anymore and just acts as if the man in the window is a minor annoyance/inconvenience is hilarious
I wonder how many times he’s popped up at this-you think he pops up every week or so and they just treat it like an average Tuesday
exactly, its hilarious
I'm happy for mark, getting to see those two huge, massive, incredible

I think the creators art style is endearing. even tho the attributes are large the story doesn't rlly play with that and its just her body type. reminds me of a sweet mother yk
i think the chunky body is actually a gameplay aspect. the dev probably went like "hmm i want to make one rabbit bigger so that you can't hide in small places, while being able to hide another in there"
I've seen the devs other games and this just seems to be their style for characters (as well as gameplay) I think what they do, while not particularly scary is really interesting and creative :)
Mama rabbit reminds me of my aunt, I love the representation!
I would like to thank Lixian and Mark for that wonderful flashback edit from the first game
Gotta love the editors* going the extra mile, and adding the text above Mark to make sure we can read it all. I'd guess he just found the font somewhere but it blends seamlessly.
I'm glad someone else admired that!
Yeah they do great!
Lixian is one of the best editors. He and Mark have the best editor-creator relationship
maybe the face cam and the gameplay footage are seperate mp4's idk
also how they sometimes move his cam around to make sure nothing important gets covered, they’re really doing an incredible job
17:50 is the Best part lol
"Being scared of weird naked tall men" 🤣
The fact that he does this so often that they aren't even scared anymore! They're just like- "Oh s**t, this guy again...bruh..."
Mark has gotta be the best at giving a good show when playing horror games
Edit: It was just my opinion, whatever floats your boat ya know.
Skynet taking over the reply section with retarded comment.
@YuldsPlug aight bet
mark has not been playing Baldi's basics Classic Remastered yet!
@YuldsPlug I didn't laugh (I didn't watch it)
@Logan floor ⸜⁄ nope!
im genuinely invested in these characters. the third game should be a prequel explaining what happened to junior's wife.
Maybe the man got her?
honestly it'd be cool if the man got her and we'd figure out why the man is always wanting more friends

They had to have encountered The Man more than twice off-camera because there is no way they can be desensitized with only 2 encounters
Also, Markiplier wasn’t even scared of The Man in the first game.
It’s the same reaction Mark had to FNAF UCN
I love when mark randomly decides its time for the honey boo boo accent for videos.
He read the word y’all and was like
It’s time
I started laughing before I even clicked the video. I knew he was going to talk about that bunny with the big breasts. Markiplier did not disappoint. 😂

I don't know if anyone has commented this but I really appreciate the editor for overlaying the text over Marks webcam👌🏻

25:09 this character is actually from a seperate game made by the same developer.
In that game he casted a demon on a small town hospital in order to save a few bucks (I'm not kidding) but in the true ending got mangled by the demon he summoned.
There's more too it, I'd recommended playing the Vermander curse.
I love how the man quickly became just a minor inconvenience
4:30 “auBrey”
The man is like the crazy uncle who drops by on random days and you gotta hide your children cause else he'll give them edibles or some shit.
Sounds oddly specific
that little editing with the text over mark's camera was a really cool detail
I noticed that too. Lixian is an awesome editor.
ikr?? i knew i wasen't the only one to notice. i love how small things like a few words not being hidden by marks camera makes the video seem more better

@@slackolantern same lmao
@@slackolantern i also thought this would be some sort of limerick!

Just so much detail and effort put into making sure they're really representative of all types, y'know?
mark really needs to play the other games
11:20 AUDREY GET IN THE FRI*glitching*DGE
I like games like this where the "collect-the-pages" aspect actually leads into something (figuring out where to actually hide) rather than being some pointless McGuffin. I wish more "Eight pages"-like horror games would take this aspect, where collecting the whatever was just an opening objective and the whatevers needed to be used later in the game to win.
One thing I wonder is if it's possible to trick the man by hiding Audrey with the blinds open, letting him see where you hid her, then close all the blinds and hide her somewhere else.
Sadly its not. The AI doesn’t work that way, and would just react in the same way it does if you where just to hide yourself and Audrey normally.
@@LinkiePup
That's lame
He’d go straight for Audrey and take her
@@EyelessAugust

The fact that this game got a sequel when I wasn't expecting one was wild. Now i'm wondering if there's going to be a Man from the Window 3
this is actually the third or something, the sequel is you taking care of patients in a hospital as a demon is coming for whoever it can find
@@pogpogger9497 👀 Man from the Window 1.5?
Probably end up opening a cupboard strapped to a grenade.
I'm interested in learning more about the Man from the Window. Sure, he's supposedly from the window, but where is he _really_ from? ;) Either way, some exposition would be nice, though I can also see the opposing argument in which giving the antagonist a backstory necessarily makes them less threatening.

When Mark went to the bed and Mama Rabbit said “She’s hidden here before.” I lost my shit. It’s so funny that the man is just a casual annoyance to them
