This one and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 at the part where Rocket's friends are killed. In both I was inches from crying. Love Jennifer Love Hewitt, she's the reason I watched that film. She's so lovely, beautiful, talented, fun and good personality.
Youre wrong, the moment he realized (earlier that day) that no matter what he will do, things would be inevitable; he already knew that the only thing he could do is to sacrifice himself to save her. During that scene right before they got into cab, he didnt have any hesitation..

At least she knows it will happen and doesn't blame herself for not believing his dream. In the end at hospital she regret it that she doesn't listen, it brings me tears. He should more opened to her and not hiding the end of the dream. It will make her had a chance to make a decision too, he leaving her with a thousand question and regret 😭
@@jovitaach17they actually talked about it. they agreed that if his wrist watch breaks [on their way to his work], then they will have to deal with it. however, it didnt break initially, it only broke when they went to his hometown up in the mountains, when he was trying to light up the fire in the fireplace. thats when he realized that no matter what he does, things will eventually happen one way or another. and this is the time he realized that he could die in her place or let her die. of course, any sincerely loving partner would choose to sacrifice him/herself for their loved one.
Man I haven't watched this movie sine I was in Highschool, yet now as an adult, this scene breaks me, every freaking time. This movie is so underrated. Why isn't anyone reacting to this movie?? Not only that Jennifer Love Hewitt is an amazing talented and underrated actress but she is an amazing singer.
