- A "Monkeyface Video" Production !
This is a short "best Garcia picks" from this show. I know that most of these 1994-1995 shows were more sour than sweet ... but here, the video is very clean (one angle)
Audio : see below (I didn't want to spend endless hours to synch the soundboard with the video which didn't match).
Camera, Recording, Capture, Edit, Encode, Audio Synchronization & Authoring: Markiki
Audio : DAT ~ CDR ~ EAC (secure) ~ mkwACT ~ SHN
Taped by: Paul Bottiglio; Transferred by: Tim Wiley
LoloYodel :
Bertha
If The Shoe Fits (played 17 times, essentially 15 times in 1994)
So Many Roads (played 55 times since 1992)
Terrapin Station
Stella Blue
PS : 52 shows were played here at Madison Square Garden, NYC, (from 1979 to 1994) this was their last !
I love these "Monkeyface Videos" simply because they're good. I'm assuming that they came from the "Lazy Cow" group (which was the greatest, period) .... but not necessarily. Only critic, is that they still focus on the singer. The "Anon & Markiki" video's at least panned out before going to other player (which was best), but were lower in resolution, yet easier to watch. The other video's are "good" but too often shakey, or in the nose bleed section or simply blurred. Then "Less Than Face" ... ? well they're too ... Peace to them and all the rest of you. Love

Nothing Better than Jerry Garcia and The Grateful Dead!!! All that Spirit lives on Forever!!!
goddamn right
Be kind. Be gracious. But most of all, be Grateful! ✌❤
I'm so glad that, of the two shows I saw before Jerry passed, I got to see one night where the boys were definitely "on."
This was my first show, with my second being 7.9.95, and the difference is night and day. In the year from July '94 to July '95, not just Jerry, or even the band as a whole, but the ENTIRE SCENE seemed to undergo about a decade's worth of degenerative change. If Chicago '95 had been my only Grateful Dead experience, I'm not sure I would have fallen in love in quite the same way.
Beach short Bobby!
😂😂
Well, well, well... wut do we got here? ... the good ole Grateful Dead 💀🌷
Best comment award goes to...
This seems better than the reputation of this era. Any videos of Jerry having a bad night?
Uummm....this pretty much is a good example of the reputation of the era. Not a good outing at all. Just an option...
love that Stephen Cripe Guitarrr, lightning bolt. Love this channel
Lolo Thanks for the great Thanksgiving treat As usual at MSG, I was there!!!

Night before was a bit off. Jerry was having trouble feeling his hand or something
