If this was, Thee, last concert before the apocalypse I’ll be satisfied!!!! It kicked ass and you can see they were having fun!! I’m afraid of future concerts. I can’t wear a mask at a concert?
Yup, what a final journey into total joy before it all shut down. Hard to believe it was almost a year ago. So glad the timing worked, two days later, all hell broke loose. I listen to parts of this show almost every day. I spent a lot of $ to be on the floor, ten rows back,,,worth every penny. They killed it, all night long. Don't keep me wondering is my personal favorite from the night.
Starting at 16:20 and then all the way through to the end of the song. That's the good stuff. Derek definitely in top form. So blessed to be able to listen to his sweet tones.
Absolutely!! I said the same thing to my friend after the show. Last night was one of the most inspired and unbelievably incredible tribute shows I've ever seen! Being there...you really felt how much the music has been missing from our lives...at least in a concert setting. This'll easily go down as the best show of 2020. There's just nothing that's gonna compare to the perfection and greatness that they all showed. I'm still feeling completely blown away 24 hours later. What a night!! ✌️🍄🧡🍑🕺🎸🎶🎵🙏 I'm sure everyone up in heaven was smiling down upon MSG and loving every minute of it. Seriously praying they consider doing at least some touring in between their main gigs! 🙏
Seriously! I desperately miss my summer Allman Bros Band Pavillian shows! Never seen a bad Brothers show in my life lots of great memories with friends attending those shows...
Midnight Rider and Whipping Post encore. Fucking mind blowing! Such a great show. Oteil was so happy and the Brown Bomber sat in on the skins between naps. It was awesome!!!
Was Jaimoe really napping up there? Lol it really looked like he was on the stream, and at one point I saw Derek smiling and walking back there to wake him up but I really couldn't tell if he was sleeping or just chilling listening to the music haha
@@STSGuitar16 That is totally what happened. I played it back and Derek was laughing at the fact he passed out and mouthed the words "I thought he was in trouble!" haha
@@jeep1070 Man that's hilarious. Ol Jaimoe must've gotten into some real strong jazz cigarettes during set break haha. Really though, even aside from the music itself, the family vibe and real connection human moments like that really made the show for me. It is always a blast watching Derek and Warren bouncing back and forth in a musical conversation, both of them smiling ear to ear when they know they're really hitting it. Every Hungry Woman was honestly probably my favorite song from this show (they were ON FIRE during that jam), but did you see the moment during that one when Reese was taking a blistering organ solo and tried to give the solo back over to Derek and Derek just smiles, mouths no, and still smiling, shakes his head no, which meant Reese was really on fire killing it and Derek noticed and wanted him to keep going and not be so modest about his incredible playing. And then sure enough, Reese kept going and hit an even bigger peak than before, and a satisfied Derek finally gave in and started tearing it up himself. As a musician myself, that moment was really incredible. Derek knew what Reese was capable of even more than Reese did, and Derek wasn't about to just let him off easy because of it lol. That man is just a channel through which incredible music flows. There is no ego in his way at all, he just serves the music; giving up part of his own solo to let the organist reach its full peak. Really awesome stuff, and if they ever do another one of these, I won't even hesitate going to see it.
