Why did I make this deck? Because I wanted to create something absolutely hysterical. And in playtesting, this deck hilariously works in many ways. The DNA mechanics of Dinobeemon and Silphymon are really smooth. But most of all a huge credit for @HoangZero and the community for playtesting on DCGO.

This is the kinda video I like. I typically don't like deck lists, but when I do watch them, I like when they're off meta and unique.
There's a delicate line to navigate when it comes to deck profiles. I don't post too often on my rogue cooked builds mainly because people only care about what wins.
On the flip side, I just wanted to make the thumbnail for this one XD

And yeah, I get that there's a balancing act one has to engage in as a content creator and all. Just thought I'd share some appreciation for the introduction of variety in this form of content. I feel like everybody is always talking about the same 2-3 decks at the same time, so anytime I see a thumbnail or title that includes cards that are currently meta, I tend to ignore the video entirely as once I've seen one (or just played against the deck) I've seen them all (aside from spicy techs and whatnot, I suppose). Casual content I find to be much more appealing, as it's not something I'm gonna hear about constantly for the next couple sets like Armors, Imperial, or Nume stuff. Appreciate the break in monotony.

Jokes aside, though, this list looks really fun. I've been trying to find something nice to get from BT-16 that isn't the usual slop, and this honestly might do the trick lol

This was a really fun build to test! Definitely recommend hitting up DCGO for getting the sequencing and timings down.
Nothing against the thumbnail, and the partition decks are the most interesting type of decks from BT16 imo.
Definitely seeing a line with Dinobeemon and Silphymon was arguably my favorite part of this deck.

Sometimes when I craft decks I love to think about what are things that I think about when playing this deck.
This. This is what I think about.
I focused on a version that has red as the base. I removed the aquilamon in favor of the armor and as lv 3 I put some agumon savers in support. added Markus Damon at cost 5, and 2 copies of Chaos Degradation and 1 of Judgmant. the result is damn funny
There are definitely a wide variety of ways to play the deck and for sure Agumon and BT14 Koromon could also be useful. It just depends on in my mind what your top end is.
You could just play a red egg and cut the old salamon for a 4th Veemon, hawkmon, and 2 copies of the bt8 hawk. That way your evo in raising is never not an option so long as you have a rookie. Plus bt14 koromon is pretty solid with the jamming aquil into dna for dinobee for more draws. And playing the red base, you could try out crimson blaze or a delicate plan.
I considered this as well. The big issue was with your red eggs.. they aren't super amazing. And with BT8 Hawkmon this makes you prone to bottom deck a lot of your level 4's.

I built a smiliar deck on my own before watching this video and I want to main it in the regionals. I was checking now what people were building and here you are. Great minds think alike, I guess. I am running poromon and hawkmon focus with 16 salamon, ex3 shadramon, ace magna, multiple options. Thinking of running 3 of the double tamers, what do you think?
3-4 tamers is definitely recommended! Another option for eggs could be the Koromon from BT14. I saw some tests with that version as well and it's honestly kind of fun either way. I just wanted a way to trash cards.

This looks very close to a version I built, except I don't go into Mastemon. Also due to not having the Promo Hawkmon using BT-16 with the memory refund to get around some Digivolution costs.
The only issue with the Hawkmon from BT16 is that it can't digivolve from the purple Nyaromon either. While the promo one can't either, the search effect and end of turn DNA is well worth it.
I'm going to try this on Friday at my locals, 4-0 is the goal lol

Man, this decklist makes me wish the Shadramon Promo wasn't literally $30-40 a pop. Sad.
Yeah... I didn't realize Shadramons were that expensive.
@@DIGI-PANDA For literally no reason! Like, $10-15, sure. It's a good card, it's a Promo. But $40?! That's as much as Raremon, or almost as much as DeathX or Ruin Mode!

Crazy DNA combos is exactly my style, would love to give this a go. Might do some DCGO testing, but as far as physical cards go that Shadramon is far too much for me. What would you recommend as a replacement? Harpymon? Sethmon?
Harpymon would be the best bet if you don't have access to Shadramon. The issue with Sethmon is it locks you out of digivolving from anything other then purple if it's not Wormmon.

You could use the EX3 Shadramon because this does have a digivolve from red or purple for a cost of 2. Only downside, you have less flexibility on your colors.

You could! Not saying you can't. I just was focused on the DNA aspect more.

Wouldnt BT16 Veemon and BT16 Exveemon would be better than Veemon Shadramon?
Yes and no.
One issue with BT16 Veemon is that you'd be mandatory digivolving for 1 regardless in teh raise. And while true you can gain a memory when another Digimon is played or digivolves, you'd be wanting to base this more in Hawkmon again for that reason. The green element only comes from Aquilamon. However! The big reason why I like the EX3 Veemon is you can pitch Silphymon to set up trash and dig deeper.
Exveemon also suffers the same problem of only going from green or purple if you're not completely based in Veemons. YOu can't digivolve from red generically and the BT16 Salamon is the only viable target unless you use the Hawkmon too.

@@DIGI-PANDA Its the best counter for numemon spam Ive seen so far. You simply wipe their board and then every time they try to recur, the new thing gets deleted before its effects can go off.
