Yianni/Daniel: Need to install a minimum of 150MM MOT type 3 , 70MM of 14MM open textured macadam binder course and 18MM resin bound gravel. Daniel needs to leave 88MM from your edging for the macadam and resin. We are specialist contractors who can price for the front driveway and any hard landscaping.

Yan - why not go for a 'short throw 4K laser projector' in your media room instead of a conventional projector.... saves on space and will get you a bigger viewing picture, a better picture - 150 inch if you want it..!!! I'm having one in my new build :)
Yianni, uno how you put bifolds in the extension, why dont you put grey windows to the rest of the house? Personally, I think grey windows all round will be better.

I remember in the seventies when fashionable people did everything in their houses orange, dark green and dark brown with big patterns and they had 'avocado' green bathroom suites or deep sickly pink ones, yet less than a decade later it was so out of dated and deemed 100% worse than ghastly. As much as I love my own pale grey bed frame and the woodwork in my bedroom painted grey, I do feel it won't be many years before it's out of date/fashion, and in Yianni's predominantly grey/black house, whilst looking absolutely fantastic for a while, will begin to look incredibly dated. I sincerely hope I am wrong.

Living in the U.S. and seeing how different construction is in the UK is always interesting. Everything from the different contractors and how buildings are built everything from the A/C to the fine details.
Out of interest, do builders these days now recommend plastic pipes instead of copper? I've always been advised to go for Copper when having a plumber round but beginning to see a tonne of plastic pipes being laid these days in building videos.

The thickness of the strings on that staircase show its quality 44mm - 50mm. Nice.

Depends on the quality of softwood and the way it’s been made. Hardwood is pointless if it’s getting carpeted

For sound proofing and fire reasons you should board the ceiling before building the stud wall, plus a lot easier/quicker when it comes to boarding
