It is kind of odd that adults being friends with teenagers is normal in this game. Especially Axel who’s like 20 hanging with roxas and xion who are 15
@@camisok2665 to be fair, their meetings and eventual friendships were largely incidental: circumstances brought them together and, given Said Circumstances, the adults have good reason to stick around. Many of these adults were Riku and Sora's age when they had their own Misadventures in World Saving: they can understand the difficulties this latest generation of heroes better than most, motivating them to offer as much support as Riku and Sora['s extended Heart Hotel] will accept from them. Axel and Terra are very much the "big brothers" of the protagonists, their intuitive fulfilling of such roles very much in contrast to Riku (who, in his reports, tried the "big brother" despite being but 1 year older & failed miserably at it). The young adults (Leon, Aerith, Axel, Isa, Terra, Aqua, Ienzo) relate to and hope to ease the burdens of the teenagers they recognise as being children (meaning that THEY were children too, when required to act as Heroes). Mickey is a mentor-turned-father figure for Riku, Donald treats Sora as he'd treat his troublesome nephews, and Goofy might be an Actual Dad (in Other Disney Canon, he has adult son named Max). Jiminy... is a professional conscience? None of them sought out to look after and befriend "kids" but, as "Heroes", it became their Responsibility to look out for them. Friendship is just the natural result of any prolonged alliance against a shared, cosmic threat.
The fact that they will begin to seek in Scala Ad Caelum is awessome, but I think they should to investigate in Toybox, after that there are more hints about that fictional world or dimention
I know this is late, but I think the point of this ending was to prepare us for missing link. It’ll start with Mickey finding the place, and then a flashback will play out.
Hopefully Kairi will play a larger role in the story and gameplay of KH4. Melody of Memory and Remind were a good start, but we never really got the payoff we were promised with her. They fell back into the old damsel in distress routine with her pretty fast. A 0.2-style prequel that stars her would be nice. It would also be a good way of introducing new mechanics that might be present in the new game
better yet have the tutorial of kh4 you play as kairi similar to kh2 with roxas as I feel at this point sora is just so powerful they surely can't throw him back to level 1 for a 4th time
Weird thing I noticed, might be insignificant. How do we know Yin Sid actually sent the fairy god mother? We never get confirmation. They even push to go and meet up with him before leaving and she kinda says nah and takes them to the final world, which is pretty inaccessible to pretty much everyone? This could be a reach but something feels off about her. She knew way too much.
I get that, but Kairi would have no way to return without fairy godmother, no? If she was plotting something that required Micky and yen sid to not know, allowing Kairi to meet back up with them seems counter to that.
I think she operates under the same rules/physics as Merlin, in that Merlin has a lot of knowledge but it’s not always knowledge he actively has a part in. Like, it just randomly happens and he can’t exactly explain why, nor really do anything with it until it’s needed. Example: When Merlin first met Sora, Donald, and Goofy, he said he was expecting them, but not so soon, and he didn’t really know who Sora was, either. Like, he knew, but he didn’t KNOW. Does that make any sense? Sorry, not really good at expressing my thoughts well, lol. But there’s another being who potentially has the same role, but only in his world. The Cheshire Cat. The latter is more… abstract and… roundabout, in his knowledge/wisdom, though.
If I can add on to this, I feel like the idea of Seer magic might have a small hand in the power that both Merlin and the Fairy Godmother both possess. They both acknowledge that there is much more knowledge that is out there and are aware of parts of it but cannot fully comprehend the other side of things.
It makes some measure of sense that the Fairy God Mother has the ability to go to the Final World. Her dominion is over dreams after all, and as Chirithy stated, the edges of sleep and death touch. People occasionally cross over by accident as Sora did in the beginning of KH3, so I don't imagine it's too much of a stretch to say that the FGM can cross over of her own volitition, she need only apply the will to her magic to do so.
the Star is basically Stella, the Stella of FF versus 13 like Noctis of the FF Versus 13 is Yozora. Damn Nomura.. xD you are really angry fot that project
Lot of questions arises here: - Quadratum is the name of the final world where Sora was fighting against the Noctis clone? - The voice of the stars sounds like Namine? - Fairy Godmother knows lot more things than we thought - Yen Sid is maybe the Master of Masters?
I just read a theory that the Nameless Star could be the girl we see in the Verum Rex trailer. Nameless Star whispered a name to Sora & he knew Yozora’s name when they met. I don’t think it could be Stella mainly because Sora does not know Marluxia/Lauriam’s real name.
fairy godmother did say her specialty is dreams. telling riku not to act to recklessly is something that should really be saved for sora. maybe she sensed that someone from the star's world also has a dream. its possible she suspected or knew about the other world but without a name for a place to go would make it impossible to really visit in person. maybe a path has to 1st be opened before fairy godmother can visit. true it wasn't shown how she was contacted by yen sid. maybe everyone or possibly at least someone could ask the chirithy that reunited with ventus on the entire subject. wonder if the ancient keyblade master yen sid mentions happens to be the foretellers.
hopefully we'll now get to play as riku, kairi, king mickey, donald and goofy along with the rest of the gang (ven, terra, aqua, roxas etc). they can release several games before KH4 out of this
