Glad to see Nomura hasn’t changed in 20 years. Still hiding the most important information in the most obscure places. I’m almost surprised he didn’t hide necessary cutscenes in Smash.
Hahaha man if it wasnt a nightmare to get him in smash, i guarantee he would have.
iirc Disney was totally on board with just putting him in the game, but Nomura was like "let's try to make this canon!"

So between this and Union X ending my interpretation is: The KH world is the actual fictional world, Yozora's and Union X are the real world. Kairi couldn't find Sora in her memories because she is the created fictional version of Kairi, the young one stuffed in the pod was the "real one", and Xehonort is speaking about the real world's "Sora" when he tells her that she can't find him. The pods don't erase memories, they just create a fictional stand-in that never has them to begin with. This aligns with Yozora talking about how he appears different in Sora's world than reality when he "dreams" himself into the "hub" that is the final world, and also how his driver gets turned into a characture that is Luxord. Yozora "saving" Sora in the bad ending of the DLC is more like "saving a game". The stars of The Final World are the people MoM talks about losing in the real world which - and I kind of hate this - leads one down the path of assuming that if Riku is the fictional standin for Yozora and "Kairi" for her real-world equivalent, Sora is the fictional standin for MoM. He isn't Sora, Sora "is" him.
Doesn't MoM and the other masters come from the KH world in the first place and THEN moved to UX and Quadratum? I quite like your theory though. It would make more sense that KH is the fictional world when we see how "realistic looking" Quadratum and Yozora looks like.

Hoping they release that orchestral remix of Night of Fate at 1:24 to some capacity in the future. Never heard this version before but I'm dying for the full version of it. Night of Fate is definitely one of my favorite songs in the Kingdom Hearts series.

So. My theory is that the "World of Fiction where light and dark don't hold control" is not a fictional world as they theorize. I think the "World of Fiction" is in fact, the "World of Reality". Our world.
We are definitely playing as riku the next game no doubt about it. I have no problem with it either he is badass
The trailer show us play as Sora but they might split it like DDD. When we're on the World on the other Side we might play as Sora and visit Marvel and Star Wars, I will assume they exist there. And then maybe we play as Riku when we're in the Disney Worlds. I would like having Mickey as a main party member if we have Riku.
looks like there will be a game or two before kh4. One could be about mickey, donald, and goofy (won't be surprised since disney wanted that from the get go) going around looking for clues for the ancient keyblade masters and the other about Riku's journey into a new world beyond reality so like a prologue to kh4.
Last month in an interview with Game Informer Nomora confirmed a new mobile game will be released that ties into Kingdom Hearts IV, called Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link so yes there will be a side game before we get KH4.

As for us their world is fictional.
So can we then assume that the "real" Kingdom Hearts, or rather the world deep in the core of Kingdom Hearts is rather our reality.
The place where all fictional worlds (relative to us) are connected, our hearts and love for all the fictional series being the light and darkness that make up their world?
That's a bit meta, but yes that interpretation fits well.

Yeah, she was good. Just more training with Aqua, then I think she'll be much more stronger.
She needs way more screen time. And she needs her relationships with Sora and Riku developed more.

So they can just travel to The Final World whenever they want to? It doesn’t require near/true death, some sort of trance, or even entering the heart or whatever? Just… go there in the gummy ship I guess. Even if it requires magic… hmmm

Maybe that Final World was just Sora's data or something like that, maybe they went into Sora's dream bullsh!t or whatever card Nomura plays

So when someone takes your Keyblade you can just regenerate another one, and when THATS taken, you get another one.
That's not how it works, they aren't creating multiple keyblades. Ever since 1 it's the ability to basically warp the keyblade back into their hands, so when xehenort takes her keyblade she can just phase it back into her hands. She can also just let go and phase it back

Oh, and one more thing: I’m very worried about Vanitas. Ever since that he disappeared, I was starting to wonder if he’ll ever get to, well, you know, give himself a second chance to redeem himself and come back clean and start over again with a new life and change his old ways for Terra, Aqua and Ventus. Now that Master Eraqus is gone and Terra is Taking the Master’s place, I would love to see if Ventus and Vanitas could play more nicely and be a lot more like “True Brothers.” Please, Make it happen in the future! I don’t want Vanitas to die for so long!
I think Vanitas will have a bigger role in the coming games. They gave him an extra scene in Remind that basically had him saying “oi Ventus! I was inside of you for a really long time, I’m actually my own person! Ok by btw I’m darkness!”
I did not see this video and already I predicted "Sora is in some other world without powers or Disney characters like Final Fantasy, and Riku has to drag his ass back now"

Okay is it just me or are the cutscenes in the lab at Radiant Garden so awkward? I mean Kingdom Hearts has some awkward moments when trying not to be but usually I can ignore that. But in this game it’s just, so awkward and the voice acting for Riku is off and it just like the characters are just thrown into a room and don’t know what to do. But that’s just my opinion
Its probably because they were forced to try and justify the FF characters being there because everybody was pissed off they weren't in 3
And then the budget probably meant less Directing for Riku
I wonder what she looks like the final key I never even got to know what she actually is or where she came from if I hear this going to be another Kingdom hearts game I hope I get to see her and find out who she is I hope she's beautiful

He’s not dead he’s just in another world. Yozora and Riku are now in that world and they are very much alive.

@@greendaleforever Hey, if you're enjoying it, more power to you. But I wouldn't describe modern KH as fun for most people. Are fans playing a stamina-limited mobile game with the production value of Gaia online because it's fun, or because they're willing to buy and play anything to get more lore? Are people playing a rhythm game sequel to an action-RPG franchise starring a character with the depth of a Taco Bell napkin because the game is fun? Or is it because the creators have decided to chop up the story into bite-size chunks and hold them hostage inside mediocre games? It all comes across as greedy and predatory towards dedicated fans, not motivated by a desire to make genuinely fun games.
@makumasa I saw Melody of Memory as a love letter to Yoko's music for the series. Absolutely wonderful and a nice tie over. It's not milking if people just watch the cutscenes/lore videos on UA-cam anyway. That's how I'm getting all the info for the mobile games.
@@greendaleforever I'm sure plenty of fans enjoy MoM, but not because it's fun to play. If it was just a rhythm game with the same mechanics and no connections to KH, would anyone have bought it and enjoyed it solely on the merits of its gameplay? Probably not.
The fact that you're watching UA-cam videos to get the lore bits instead of playing the game kind of proves my point, doesn't it? If the game was fun, I'm sure you'd rather play it yourself.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad fans have created ways for other fans to get their lore fix without having to buy and play though the countless mediocre spin-offs for every platform under the sun, but that's possible in spite of the developer's intentions, not because of them. If fans weren't getting milked, Square Enix wouldn't keep bankrolling these spin offs (and there'd be no one to upload these videos).
