My mind was blown by the pure beauty of the background. Imagine being on top of one of those hills during the performance.

Flipping heck, seeing a fast jet display against a mountain backdrop is far more exciting than the usual open sky! How far away are those cliffs from the display line?

Not far, maybe 1000 m on the side of view and 500 on the other side. Look it up in google maps Mollis Airport
it‘s infact a very impressive and beautiful scenery….the closest cliffs are about half a mile west from the display line, approximately 1km distance to the runway, but appear a lot closer due to the effect of the telephoto lenses. A pity i missed Elwyn and Dafydd 😢
With the clear skies and background of the mountains you can really see it turn and burn! Great video!

Love that quick retract of the gear, holding just off the deck, build the speed…then yank it into the vertical! Awesome..
You don't have to go to the amusement park after a day of driving!😅🤭
This type of machine is excellent, because if one engine breaks, the other one will work.
Helps the driver bring the plane down safely.
New fighters do not have such good flying characteristics as this type.

I love military aviation. It doesn't matter what model the plane is or what country it's from. Typhoon is one of my favorites. He is very beautiful. One shelving unit in my room is full of model fighters. And Typhoon and Russian Mig29 occupy a special place.
Got damn i was there and that afterburner takeoff shook the ground differently!

Double Wow!! After the F16 performance i thought i had seen it all, but this is the icing on the cake. Would love to see the RAF Blackjack typhoon display jet scaling that mountain, perhaps you could have a word with them Elwyn?!😎👍

@@Henrislaughter821 I am sure that there will also be displays of Eurofighters in the US, after all it is in service by a lot of european nations. There already has been at ZigerMeet 2019 at Mollis AFB. So yes there are also displays sometimes with Eurofighters in the USA.

Just kidding. But it feels a bit like the Luftwaffe only has one of them parked in a hangar considering how seldom I see them fly about.

You have to live near the coast Rostock etc. then you will often see Eurofighters and Tornados. I was there for a long time and regulary have seen them fly over.
This display makes the RAF display team look mediocre. I bet Health and safety would have kittens, if this took place in the UK.

Unfortunately, German pilots are only allowed to go up to 90% at such a show. One thing is certain...in such a narrow valley, Sukhois would have little chance due to their high induced resistance...
