Played this out in St Pancras a while back on the public piano next to the Eurostar exit. This is a funny piano as the higher octaves sound quiet compared to the bass, but you have to work with the piano in front of you!
Anyway, Everything I Do is one of the biggest movie songs that when you hear it, you instantly think about the movie. It’s up there with My Heart Will Go On - Titanic, I Will Always Love You - Bodyguard, I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing - Armageddon, Eye of the Tiger - Rocky.
Maybe I should do a series of movie covers? I did Pirates out here as well!

When I graduated from college, this was the song that we walked on to during the 'giving thanks to the parents' part of the program. There was never a dry eye when us (students) brought a rose to our parents. This was more than a movie soundtrack. Thank you again, Cole. Brilliant.
Not just with your hands, your whole body is in motion to play the tunes, that's a mark of mastery. As it is said, the human body has greater knowledge than the mind could ever conceive, it looks like you're accessing the physical as you play, meaning no mind, no thinking, no thoughts, just breathe and expressing your unique self-expression thru the music. I was 8 years old when this came out, spent 15 weeks at number 1 in the UK chart. The hype around this song and the film was enormous, it was everywhere. It's become a bit of a chiche song, only because it's one the greatest love songs ever written. I love the album version of the song, it has an extended instrumental section after the final verse which is never played on the radio.
